@op still no answer but instead parries with a question. Answer: I have many times. Except for my son, all women as it happens, cohabiting or sharing, because they are the preferred.
That you consider an answer? There you go insisting @jac answer you, but you give a flip answer, where she replies in detail. Of course the @op is entitled to fly the double standard.
@op sticking to the insistence on these being female 'attributes' does you no credit at all. Suppose your workplace manager shows all the 'SIGN's what would you say or do? If male what? If female what? Would anything differ with gender? I see some here like this thread, but personally I find it egregious. The original, now deceased, speaker I would rather despise for such words.
@op the text displayed is intended to address direct access to a web page - the indirect access via bookmark is certainly secondary and a minor consideration. I don't know if it is detectable and thus programmable. Is it the fault of the programmer or a deficiency in the browser? On the other hand I criticise the '1yrs' you see here in CS
@jac Are you not implying here 'plastic is bad'? In itself it is not. Single use discarded things may be, regardless of the material I suggest. The local council just replaced my electric cables, no doubt plastic sheathed. There are beneficial uses of plastics, plastics are not inherently detrimental.
@jac you have a viable alternative for plastic based piping, plumbing, tubes? Berating someone for such use or need is rather gung-ho perhaps. Wiring insulation? There is certainly excessive and unnecessary use, but aren't you going over the top?
@OP I do not believe for an instant that did not intend to use women instead of people. He is telling his audience this is a flaw of women only. He meant to teach this. Did he have a second sermon preaching the same about men? No. Would he ever have? No. Had I been in the audience I would have either walked out or confronted him.
@OP you really know that CS blogger land is deep and meaningful when $10 toasters just about tops the pops here! There is in fact nothing much else, if anything at all, worth responding to!
@snookies Jamie Oliver (cretin!!!). I loathe and detest Ramsay with a passion. Jamie made a nice TED talk or two. But he (his chain) managed to go broke for GBP 80m nonetheless.
@OP Buttered crumpet reminds me of seeing a new Chinese arrival in Australia buttering a toasted Ham and cheese sandwich on the outside. With the toast the butter is inside, and first. With the crumpet, on top and after.
Crumpets are a toaster problem. I guess America doesn't have the British/Australian 'crumpet' ambiguity issue? Hot buttered crumpet on the side? But crumpet diameter is perhaps less than the standard bread width, and invites burnt fingers if you cannot just pinch the edge. Hence the need for a lever lifter.
See! you DO get (at most) what you pay for. And sure enough you got at most what you paid for! Does it have a lifter (mine doesn't - grrr)? Never buy a toaster without! At least it has lasted about 20 years.
Another one has just shown up - taller at 3'9" and also a programmer. Why I wonder would an American programmer be showing $50-75k? Ignorance I guess. I used to earn that in 1980. The last 3 are 'Hi Fargo, how are you doing?'
As clipped (omitting New and CS Connections) TinEye does not find that one, but several others at dating sites (sites not sights or cites this time ) - you're using better match tech or maybe just google match?
Talking about 'passing' Jiang Zemin aged 96 has. A clear memory of my first trips to China is of hearing every day on the TV or Radio 'Jiang zemin shuo' 'Jiang zemin shuo' (says/said) - a little like Donald Trump said (in the morning) but then at midday ... and yet again at night ... In China I only heard the morning news, but I suspect Jiang Zemin only issued one fairy-story per day.
An interesting side-note in China is the fall of the Apple market share - it used to be #1 by a fair margin at over 30%, but now it dwells at #5 with about 12-13%, because brands like Huawei Xiaomi Oppo and recently Honor at about 20% are less than half the price but equal quality (and of course like Apple, made in China!). My smartphones are Oppo and Xiaomi ... I'd buy Huawei if it weren't for the US bias and pressure on Google to withdraw Android licence from Huawei. I'll have to look into Honor phones I can see.
Well then, if you want to be nice it should be 'Republican America' and 'Marxist China' and 'Communist Vietnam' but use of these terms is deliberately selective, don't you agree? America thoughtfully forgets the communism of Vietnam, perhaps because they were defeated there. Do you see Communist North Korea? No. Communist Cuba? Stupid people use stupid labels, the @OP is included in this category.
@OP you like to use 'Chinese Communists' to identify the Chinese government - so should we designate America as 'American Capitalists' perhaps, to be 'fair' or 'even-handed'?
@Friend as it happens my son spared me the saxophone, but he played the bass clarinet. Proficiently. He got a school band trip to Italy and Austria. But! During the official recording session in Venice (he thought Italian girls just amazing) he squeaked or squawked on the low B! Oh despair, oh woe oh woe was he. There it is loud and clear and glaring on the CD for posterity!
RE: Listening to Kevin Samuels....for the men...What is a low value woman...
