@op et al. Well it is a clear as the mask on the face that some want to be seen and remain as anonymous. What surprises you about that? What is it about the photo-less? Is that somehow more acceptable? The mask makes a statement, does it not? Some people (me included) come here to blog, not to date. Think first. Question second. @rob Well England was ignominiously defeated in the 1840s in Afghanistan, and this continues till today, doesn't it. Interventions in Afghanistan do not reward the intervener or the country itself. We can only hope the Taliban have learnt something but it seems improbable.. Did Russia 'invade' Afghanistan? @moelle lots of side-effects from the first, none at all from the second except I still feel like sleeping around midday - never before. I have lost weight but appreciate that, yet enjoy eating less.
