I have to say that Gozo doesn't seem to have been affected by the recession too much yet - building is going on as frantically as ever and people seem to be shopping just as much as they ever did.
Tourism figures are slightly down on last year but higher than the same period two years ago - so things don't seem to be too negative for now!
Let's put it this way - you're going to scare any potential male away for fear of his every thought and deed being posted in a public forum if he turns out to be less than perfect!
I'm not attacking you, I'm just stating that you're after the sympathy vote and you've played that hand a little long now.
Good luck, but I'd suggest it's a good idea to quit the whining and start saying nice things instead of going on about negative things all the time.
You're a big girl now - you've character assasinated some guy you never even met, and so what?
No need to attack me for expressing a personal opinion; you've expressed your angst now almost ad infinitum and I feel in a good mood and would like to read something positive for a change!
A 'she' is not a 'he' - we men have lower life expectancies..........btw, having spent an hour or so thinking beofre I sent you an email it would be nice to have some sort of response - all I can say is:
Lago is like Rembrandt and that guy who maybe or maybe didn't cut off his own ear but (instead had it chopped off in a fight over some woman) - his paintings will surely be worth more once he is 'no more'................ only invest in Lago's paintings if you feel confident you'll outlive the man!
I have one hobby in my spare time - making money from investments and then dreaming what I'll spend it on......... can be a little dry and intense and boring if just for the love of money.........
but if you have something GOOD to spend money on then it can be great fun earning the dough to make that dream come true!
For decades now I have dropped water filled balloons from high rise buildings.
It first happened in Calcutta in India when my brother, now deceased, and I dropped several water filled balloons on people celebrating that weird Indian hindu festival (Divali? ) where people throw paint over each other.
It was fun!
I have engaged in this past-time now for several decades and I can honestly say that it is as much fun at the age of 5 then when I first did 'it' at the age of 7.
There is one problem.
The problem is this:
You have to decide whether to look over and see the person's reaction who got hit by the water balloon and risj getting your nose splattered or head kicked-in or whether to duck down behind the wall in a fit of hysterical giggles.
I have not solved this dilemma yet.
So far I have not had my nose splattered or my head kicked in either!
I'm really happy today............ my darling and I have been apart now for over two whole weeks but she flys back out here two weeks today on the 22nd for ten whole days.
It's her birthday on the 23rd May - we met 20th May 2008 - and then the next day,Sunday 24th May, I've organised a charity lunch/auction in memory of my dad.
It should be great fun, and she's very well organised so I believe we'll make a great team and raise lots of yummy money for six local charities my beloved dad used to support!
The smell of freshly baked bread is almost as good as the smell of the skin of the woman I love.
How about freshly baked bread served in bed with a nice hot croissant too melting the butter and a dollop of really good black cherry jam................ Heaven!
