RE: Would u date Mercedes1?

The Mercurial one does not answer ALL questions!

RE: A question about easter for christians....

Ahhhhhhhh!

And to think I thought a 'groundhog' was an obese little American kid who'd been naughty and not allowed out with his little obese groundhog friends! confused

RE: Would u date Mercedes1?

Don't be so silly.............. I am above all that - I am the Mercurial One and get my acolytes to squeeze me fresh fruit juice while I write my religious texts!

"Oooooohhhhhh! Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!"

That's a typo for 'squeeze harder!'

RE: Would u date Mercedes1?

The awesome 'bull in sheep clothing' Mercurialness likes to be 'discrete'.......... like dis is Crete and das ist Corfu and oh, I dunno! dunno

In Crete they had King Minos I think - he was a bit of a bull too. I remember going back there for the first time in a coon's age and thinking:

'All these bloody foreign tourists weren't here before!'

I mean Knossos was all covered in scaffolding and walkways and had thingies called 'tourist guides' saying 'This is a lump of old stone that was once a slightly younger lump of stone' and the people were uttering:

'Ahhhhhh!' -

all very boring, so I went off and had a wine

RE: Would u date Mercedes1?

Not in a public forum - pahleez! hole

RE: A question about easter for christians....

I HONESTLY didn't get the joke, so i couldn't be offended or otherwise! dunno

RE: Would u date Mercedes1?

I shall pray for thine chipmunk that it becometh not like unto a red rag to a bull.

Try wearing little bells - even if they hurt the bells will jingle sweetly whenever you take a pace forward or even backwards and people shall say unto themselves:

'Mercedes cometh!'

RE: Would u date Mercedes1?

Arise!

Get off thy squatting down position!

You are healed!

You may now walk in a straight line again and wear tight jeans with impunity!

RE: President Obama's trip......did it accomplish any thing?

I read the whole article; it was mainly positive and better to have 5,000 noncombatant troops with a defined role than 15,000 Italian troops in a combatant role but refusingf to leave their military bases!

Overall - a thumbs up only really negated by Russia and China's kick in his face response over North Korea; it seems we are back to the 'good old bad old days' when Russia and China are going to veto anything that might be decisive because of their own hidden agenda power plays - we can't exactly blame Obama for their refusal to cooperate when its not, apparently, in their own interests to suck up to the USA like us good Western European citizens!

RE: Which is the perfect place for make love??

in my mind's eye - fiction is both stranger and more fun than reality!

Just joking........... I can't answer that question without divulging my awesomely wonderful private life which would then destroy my integrity and result in my private life disappearing into an infinite black hole of:

'Why was I so stupid as to discuss my private life in public with complete strangers who don't know me from Adam?'

Cheers!

RE: Would u date Mercedes1?

You lied!

You said you'd all healed up! tongue

RE: President Obama's trip......did it accomplish any thing?

CUNICISM = what cynical t*ats believe in! laugh

RE: President Obama's trip......did it accomplish any thing?

CYNICISM!

RE: President Obama's trip......did it accomplish any thing?

Conrad - you and that american dude with his bottom up his bum bum bathed in pure unadulterated cunicism are a CS match made in heaven - you and I, and louisianraised, may be grumpy old farts but give the futile youth at least a few days or weeks of optimism before they sink to our own depths of despair and the awfulness of reality! tongue

RE: Would u date Mercedes1?

Dang, I was going to ask that very question!

Would Mercedes1 date herself and become Mercedes1.5(3/1+1)?

My Mercurial awfulness is greatly bemused!

sigh

RE: What Comes First? Your Religion or Your Occupation?

Excellent reply! thumbs up

RE: What Comes First? Your Religion or Your Occupation?

The egg came first - obviously!

RE: What Comes First? Your Religion or Your Occupation?

You may know that I've struggled with religion, but if I had a religion I am sure that, provided it was one of the mainstream world religions, I'd be taught that my religion should be the most important thing in my life - above even my own life or the lives of my family!

People with religious conviction should, of course, address what is and is not acceptable to their faith and then decide whether they can accommodate any particular job -

personally, I think you can find something wrong with ANY kind of employment on either religious or ethical or environmental grounds, but then somebody has to work!

I'd think that anybody from a religious background who wants to help other people could not find a better occupation than that of a healing doctor or caring nurse.......... we would best serve a 'God' be serving other human beings in the name of that God.

Bless all people who have dedicated their lives to the service of others in the medical professions - whatever beliefs they hold or do not hold we need their dedication!

RE: A Canadian and Obama.

Obama can't actually do anything..... it's up to the millions of people who are US citizens (apart from the rest of us in other countries) to make this world a better place; no single politician can get on stahe and wave a magic wand or pass a piece of legislation that solves any problems in itself.

The problems are way too serious for any simple solution........ so the ONLY thing of any impact that Obama can do is inspire people and try and prevent them from giving up hope which will only increase the downward economic spiral.

Financial markets are run, mostly, by human beings and reflect (above anything else) how people perceive the future...... if people perceive their glass in the future as being three quarters EMPTY or they perceive their glasses as being a quarter FULL the facts will be the same, but the markets will go UP instead of DOWN!

RE: President Obama's trip......did it accomplish any thing?

Well, that's good to hear.............. but even Colin Powell sadlycould not change the rest of the world's negative attitude to the USA when his boss was Bush.

Colin Powell certainly seemed to be a calming influence - and certainly couldn't have been popular with those in the previous administration who saw nothing except in black and white and had the mentality:

'You're either for us or against us - if you're on our side do as we say.... if not you must be our enemy and watch it, buddy, or you'll be next on the list!'

RE: A question about easter for christians....

I didn't get the joke - just saw that some people were offended and I realise that you need to know somebody before you joke with them over their beliefs or they get all uppity and blow you and themselves up if told to do so by a religious leader.

moping

RE: A Canadian and Obama.

I thought that too!

He's either the Anti Christ or The Second Coming depending on which side of the fence you're on................ me? - I'm just sitting on the fence and think he's an ok guy and wish him well.
