I've lived with people who didn't lift a finger to help me, and i also have met a lady who i planned to live with before i got ill who was supremely house proud, and i had to stop her cleaning her home so we could go out!
Sharing would be the fairest solution, but then some people like controlling other people, making more work for them.
Why i don't understand personally, but i have to do lots of housework today, but i'd rather stay warm as its snowing so i'm on the sofa with a duvet watching a movie!
True story may in Malta on a beach with my GF and her daughter at the time, a week later flew home apparently with pneumonia.
A week later i was virtually dead.....so believe me, now i see the world differently.
You really never know, so if in doubt, if you see anyone you like, ask them out for a night, for a meal, a coffee...a night juggling dwarfs, because if like me, after a surreal week coughing up blood and having double lung failure...believe me it brings it into perspective real fast.
Actually as a former moderator on a site i won't mention, it was amazing how many people were found to have sleep apnia!
It's amazing when you run an analysis of the behaviour of people on the site how many suffer for example with depression.
You'd be surprised, believe me.
In the past there was a thread on this very site, about the issue and the membership was very frank and explained to people without experience what it's like to cope with manic episodes, clinical depression, bi polar and many other maladies.
That and in the site membership there's several doctors.....
It was actually informative, and handled in a delicate respectful manner.
Fact : Socialogical study recently published the longer people spend online, the more they are left unfulfilled.
Have to agree, as it's a pretty hollow experience after a while, but if you have dependants, are housebound, tied to the house for one reason or another it is a decent enough way to spend time talking and socialising.
But, whatever you do, do not make the mistake of thinking your new online buddies are your friends, or you maybe riding for a fall.
There's a high percentage that use mediums like this with no social skills, that have personality disorders and mental problems.
If in doubt do as you would in the real world, be sensible.
You actually see this as fulfilling in any way? I mean as a substitute to something you could do in the real world?
Nearly always posts are too short to grasp any depth of someones personality, and sadly i'm afraid some people don't seem to have a discernible personality to display!
And believe me, the quality is very thin on the ground compared with some of the genuine characters that were members on the site.
It's very very watered down now....and sometimes very stale, almost stagnant.
But i'm glad you get something out of it, it's a shame you didn't witness the site a few years ago...
Who wants to fit in? I have to do that at work and am paid for it!
But there are some nice genuine people on here, some that have even found good relationships...
But the most anyone generally gets out of here is an increased electric bill
I think we need a pet section, and one where sad cases don't report profiles that have a cats face in them.I mean, that is so pathetic the person responsible must honestly have no life, or a blunt axe to grind.
I have to admit, Ginger is just a giant orange moggy, but i'd love a persian, or a maincoone....or best of all a fluffy pallas cat.
Priority still goes to women with German shepherds and Weinemaras though....but they cant come to the house as ginger has a touch of authuritus (poor old sod).

I mean this site really is the same people saying the same banal stuff day after day, and people wonder why people don't post?
I despair at times, and i question why the hell i'm wasting my time even typing this, as people will agree or not even comment anyway?
There's hardly any expressionism, anything resembling humour for people to engage in...so they basically get bored, and take up knitting....or ironing their smalls.
I've been here some time (for my sins) and seen all types of behaviour...from people declaring undying love one week for each other, then they never actually ever meet up!
I've seen people go out of their way to make other people unhappy, and even break up relationships, that blossom on the forums!
The key is not everyone is normal, and i just want to mix with friendly nice people in my spare time now...not any more egotistical mental cases with agendas.
I used to post a lot, now it hardly seems worth the time.
Almost as bad now as i've ever seen it.
The trolls do offer some entertainment, but for the most part it's people arguing again and again.
For instance, take the Dane, you know, the gent who's obsessed with Obama.....i ask you, what is the point even posting on a thread by someone so mental? Seriously.
Then theirs the religious crowd,the Israel pro/con group....i ask you, would you want to hang out with any of these mental cases?
The same old arguments, diatribe and name calling got very old a long time ago...so i hardly bother.

Confident, and self assured...yep great....but i do like feminine characteristics.
And it's not to be mistaken for me wanting to find someone submissive, as i'd far rather meet someone who sees equality as just 2 different sides of the coin, and enjoy the differences.
I don't want to meet anyone violent, abusive or cruel....i've experinced enough of being treated like that, and didn't like it.
I ran short of time shopping this morning, after seeing the council to schedule my council tax.That and a pile of ironing, food shopping, and god forbid with the travelling to brum will mean i'm knackered if i get there for 9pm.
A week of getting up at 4.45am, and weekends i try to catch up, but today i've ran over, and still haven't eaten!
I'll also try to drag Goddess and Dandelion with me if i'm doing the driving, and space for 1 more!
The weather is mild enough, but something has cropped up at my end and i wouldn't be able to get there before 9pm, and sadly i can't have more than 1 drink, as i'm driving.
Next time, it might be an idea to find somewhere where those travelling can crash out.
It's a shame i cant make it, but if anothers organised where we can arrange places to stay etc, it might be easier, at least for me personally.
I'll try again in a few months, and hopefully we can have more people lined up...but to those going, have my share of fun tonight!

Today it took me 2 hours to go 6 miles....and i did 5 and a half miles of that in less than 10 mins!
I then phoned work, told them it would take me forever to get there, and turned around.It took me 45 mins after that to get home!
Thus i cant promise, and can see Amiti being stuck in Swindon as well, as a trip up the M4 might be tricky thanks to our councils being incapable of keeping roads clear.
Yep Conrad, it's rotten to the core, and it's like many things, but i'm glad it's not in the UK, as frankly the moron element in our society always misbehave, and i'm sick of them.
Doesn't matter to me, but it's symptomatic of how things go, as the UK is best suited to deliver re stadia, economically, and will provide the greatest return (so i heard yesterday on the radio).
Corruption always find those who are willing to hold out their hands promising favours.
It's the same in politics....just as dirty, and as obvious, and yet nothing ever seems to happen.

I hate to point out the obvious, but the sites American owned, and most of the members are in the States.
I can spot the fake profiles from the UK a mile off, and there are plenty of them.
And if this is the criteria that makes the states the "most important", then i'll point out that most Americans don't even know where Europe is....and i've had more than a few from there say over Xbox live, who have actually been so dumb that even though i said i was from Europe, well one American in particular guessed my accent was Australian.
No other country in the world can produce so many idiots as the United States can, but it's no reflection on the normal people in the States who are genuinely lovely warm people.
With this in mind, i don't bother to type anything informative any more, as i do know i'm wasting my time, as people from over there, are and i say this respectfully, not aware of world events, never mind the niceties of international politics.
So make sure you set the criteria correctly, as your banks in the States, through lax lending policy nearly brought the worlds banks, and economies worldwide to their knees.
Be careful.....remember some of us have long memories, and are not as thick as 2 short planks of wood.
