Agreed, and none can truly say what they'd do, just what hypothetically they'd do. Funny how a certain person can come along and change your mind...which is why I've learned to never say "never".
It's just something that's evolved over years of knowing them. I don't do it with all of them, some I only hug both parties, but there are several that I do this with. We've all always been okay with it because these guys are kissers too, not just huggers. I'm not the only one they greet that way. I don't know...maybe we're just an affectionate bunch here, and love to flirt.
I'm a huge flirt, and don't imagine ever stopping. Flirting is fun! I have a tendency to kiss my male friends at the local VFW on the lips, then turn to kiss their wives or girlfriends on the cheek. As long as it's in the open, it's harmless. (And those who have tried to make it more have discovered their mistake.)
Thankfully, I have someone who's okay with that and doesn't need me to stop it in order to feel secure.
I'll add some: ~....you get annoyed because work interferes with your time on CS
~....you find yourself running late to get to places because you had to make "just one more comment" on CS, and then of course you had to reply to the replies to it...
Yep, these all sounded familiar, hence the reason I took a break, and now am not in a hurry to replace my fried computer.
A President of Europe? Now what is the world coming to? But I guess we should have seen the writing on the wall when the currency issue was started, eh?
I don't know how all of you feel about this in Europe, but it's starting to sound like a "New World Order" to me...time will tell if that's a good thing or not.
Agreed, Konigsberg, and a good list. I forgot Scubadiva too. As you said, I could fill a page. After this, others will just have to fill in whomever I've missed mentioning...there are many here.
Beauty is more than outer looks...true beauty is inside the mind, heart and soul. We have a lot of that here, and I feel blessed for the day I found the CS forums.
Yes, she was, RDM. And I agree about Gingerb. Also NMP, Bestat45, ladyfingers, HL, dillydally (another from the past), Konigsberg, Claudya...the list goes on and on, and I know I'm still forgetting people because this is another list that too many fit well for me to name everyone.
OK, I'll make a list for this one, though it still won't be complete...but others can fill in the ones I miss.

OK, I'm sure that there are more, but that's who I can think of off the top of my head for both wisdom and spunk, some of the ones I look up to and admire here.
Thank you, Birgitta. It's just the way it feels. I didn't "fall in love", I just recognized that I do love him. Same with him. It's how I know it's real, not "puppy love" or infatuation. We don't say it, but it shows in our other words and actions, and there hasn't been a need to say those three overused words. I've been in relationships where "I love you" was said a lot, but didn't mean anything because it was negated by everything else. This time I haven't heard or said those words as such, but they vibrate loudly out of everything else.
My parents met and fell in love at first sight, and married within 4 months. They're still happy after 48 years of marriage, celebrated last month.
I'll verify my own story on that later, but so far, this one is a yes as well. I walked into his arms and felt I'd come home. It's not fireworks and stars, it's a deep and warm fire, and it feels like it will burn forever...and already has been for several lifetimes. We both felt it instantly.
As I said, because it still happens that women get paid less than men for the same job, same hours, same or better skill and performance. Sad, but true.
Most new drugs today receive FDA approval without being tested and without full knowledge of the side effects, nevermind compatibility with other meds. They're in a hurry now to approve them as fast as possible, and pull them later if they prove dangerous. It's just about money now, not our health. Read, people. Look into what's really happening out there now.
And learn how to manage your own health naturally. We can all do it because Mother Nature provided all that we needed to remain healthy, and the pharmaceutical companies don't want you to know that truth.
Not trying to get it OT again, but I agree with you completely on this, HL. It's a shame, and this "healthcare reform" bill sucks. Thank you for the extra information.
Oh, and I have been smarter than my own doctor. I had mine prescribe Dilaudid once telling the nurse it wasn't a morphine derivative. It's a hydromorphone, 1st generation morphine derivative, and she had to think for a moment as well and call him back. His response? "Does she know what she can take then?"
