RE: its time to wake up! guys in US seve the planet! reduce your consumption and natural usage.

Exactly,

Except they don't REALLY intend to fix the problem.
The whole reason for it all is to make the problem grow, and spread, and eternalize.
Endless war, first in some inaccessible foreign lands where people can't verify what's really happening.
But soon they'll bring the war home to the homeland.
Same pattern as now.
A big explosion in a public place, and some innocent patsy will be labelled as a suicide bomber. Works every time.
No embarassing court trials, no other side of the story.
Just a totally cooperative dead fall guy.
And an occasional unbelievably amateurish video or audio recording ranting against the US and promising eternal terrorism and sickening atrocities.

Got to keep the hatred and fear levels up real high or people begin to think rationally.

No real casualties to speak of,
unless you count innocent civilians, and a token number of friendly troops (for the sake of believability).

An interesting film on the subject was called Wag the Dog.

RE: its time to wake up! guys in US seve the planet! reduce your consumption and natural usage.

I agree that pollution is a problem and needs to be dealt with.
But pollution is not responsible for global warming.

Mars, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and the moons of Jupiter and Saturn are all heating up too.
And they have very few cars and almost no industry.

Global warming is a scam, which, along with staged terrorism, is driving people to accept the destruction of their standard of living and their civil rights.

It's all about creating hysteria and then offering a solution that will supposedly fix the problem.

It works like this video.

RE: rate my pics please

Well, when you ask people to rate your photos
and your photos reflect a hyperactive ego,
you can hardly blame people for calling it like they see it.

RE: WHO'S THE GREATEST EUROPEAN THAT EVER LIVED ? AND WHY ? AND PLEASE KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT !

Gilly: WHO'S THE GREATEST EUROPEAN THAT EVER LIVED ?

Ray: Hard to choose. (There's a lot of 'em)

Gilly: AND WHY ?

Ray: Because they breed like rabbits.

Gilly: PLEASE KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT !

Ray: Oh I do. I've verified it many times.

RE: What is the problem with Americans and their health ?

Yep government and big business.

They can.
Push button virtual elections are not even as reliable as virtual romances.
Rigging elections has never been easier, and the benefits to be gained by doing so have never been higher.

Government can not only do whatever it wants, it can claim that the public insisted on it.

Socialized medicine is not cheaper than private medicine.
It is certainly not better than private medicine.

Canada's system is being touted as an example. But Canada is a rural nation in which GP's take care of nearly all medical problems.

In the past they tried to tout France as a "success story" of socialized medicine. But let me tell you, I've experienced both and I would prefer a 3rd world private system to France's social system any day.

There's no stopping socialized medicine for the US.
They can just manipulate public opinion to make it seem popular, or, they could even rig a referendum if need be.
Whatever outcome the administration wants, it will get.

But people have no idea just how much it will cost:
- in healthcare taxes (taken right out of paychecks)
- in government control of everybody's healthcare decisions
- in reduced quality (government benefits from minimizing care).

Socialized medicine is Big Brother's favorite opening move.
Everything else follows automatically.

RE: Pro-Gun/Anti-Gun?

I'll bet that leaves out all the American war deaths during that time.

I'm positive it leaves out the foreign victims of American shootings.

RE: Pro-Gun/Anti-Gun?

Yes. and if we exercise our constitutional right to keep and arm bears, they can help us in controlling the hunter population.

RE: Pro-Gun/Anti-Gun?

That happens because, if supply wasn't limited, the selling price would drop so low that the farms would go broke.

It's not a natural situation, it's engineered.

The whole idea is to make farming such a volitile risky business that all the family farms shut down and are replaced by corporate owned factory farms that make big profits by mass producing food.

But it's not healthy food.
Far from it.

RE: How Much Do you Know

I'm American of origin and I've visited about 30 countries and learned a lot about the geography, history, culture, and languages of several of them.

I don't think it's true that Americans and Australians are less interested in other nations.

America probably has more world travellers than any country (at least in the past it did). The problem isn't that they don't travel but that they are inconsiderate when they do.

Many nations, including America, harbor a superiority complex in their collective psyche. It leads to rudeness and obnoxious behavior in tourists. It also leads to massacres and crimes against humanity at the government/military level.

RE: I BET NONE OF YOU ARE DECENT CITIZENS DONE ANY VOLUNTEER WORK OR PUBLIC DUTIES ?

I do volunteer work in the same organizations as you do gilly.
Don't you remember seeing me there?

RE: What did ye say in school for plasticine?

Summon the warpiper.

RE: What did ye say in school for plasticine?

What did ye say in school for plasticine?

The only thing that comes to mind was once when I was in a train at the station and there were these plasticine porters with looking-glass ties, and then this girl with amazing eyes appeared at the turnstile...
hmmmm, that memory is a little fuzzy.

RE: I am single because...

Best I could do in my condition.

RE: I am single because...

Who is anybody to judge?

Judge not.
And don't accept being judged by others.

RE: I am single because...

I have no mate.

RE: Love come as your destiny?

Yes, Love is my density.

RE: how many of u really mind if ppl hate u?

how many of u really mind if ppl hate u?

It depends.

If the hater is a beautiful woman I'm disappointed.

If the hater is the big biker guy next door, a mafia hitman, or a CIA agent, I'm concerned.

But if the hater is a web acquaintance, I just delete, block, and forget 'em.

Life is short.

RE: That's MY "president Bill Clinton forever" of the whole world

I hate to be the spoiler here, but that seems to be my destiny a lot of the time.

The Clintons are both CFR members.

My guess is that the whole hostage thing was either set up or staged altogether.

The journalists may or may not be in on the hoax.

But either way, I'm convinced that the only reason for the kidnapping was to recycle Clinton's image.

The CFR does that regularly.

Former makeovers: Nixon, Kissinger, Carter,

RE: The Desensitizing of the World

We can't.
At least not on a world or national level.
Things have to run their course.

But we can each turn our own hearts around.
The first step is throwing out the TV.

RE: The Desensitizing of the World

I agree.

Doctor Seuss stories were crazy but that made them all the more effective and interesting.

RE: The Desensitizing of the World

I agree that the world is being desensitized to empathy, sympathy and compassion.

Our spirits are being suppressed through continual exposure to violence and disaster.
We are being trained not to react, or even to care.

Jesus said it would happen.

Mat 24:12
And because evil will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

RE: When Your The Lowest,How Do You Start Over?

In desperate situations, FAITH is the most important thing to hang onto.

Here's a song by Andrae Crouch

Through it All

I've had many tears and sorrows,
I've had questions for tomorrow,
there's been times I didn't know right from wrong.
But in every situation,
God gave me precious consulation,
that my trials only serve to make me strong.

I've been through some lonely places,
seen some real unfriendly faces,
and many times I felt so all alone.
But it was in those lonely hours,
yes, those precious lonely hours,
that Jesus let me know I was His own

Through it all
through it all
I've learned to trust in Jesus
and I've learned to trust in God
Through it all
Through it all
I've learned to depend upon his word

Well I thank God for the rivers
and I'm thank Him for the valleys
and I thank Him for the storms he's brought me through
'cause if I'd never had a problem
I wouldn't know how God can solve them
And I wouldn't know what faith in God can do

Through it all....

RE: I BET YOU NONE OF YOU EVER FULFILLED ANY INTERESTING DREAMS GOALS CHALLENGES OR AMBITIONS !

1. what was it that you thought of doing ?

Travel the world.

2. why did you want to do it ?

To forget a painful breakup, and broaden my horizons.

3. what was the obstacles in the way?

Too many to count.
Obstacles at every turn.
But after a while I got pretty good at getting around obstacles.

4. did you succeed?

Around the world twice, and then some.

5. how did you do it?

The hard way.

6. was it worth it?

Yes

7. would you ever try and do anything like that again ?

No way.
My travelling days are over.

RE: I BET YOU NONE OF YOU EVER FULFILLED ANY INTERESTING DREAMS GOALS CHALLENGES OR AMBITIONS !

I have a good friend who travelled the world bluffing his way along as a masseur, physical therapist, dance instructor, yoga instructor, cabaret dancer, martial arts sensei,... whatever

Over time he actually became good at all the things he did, even though he had no real training or experience when he started.

RE: Personal Computers not Personal Anymore?

Read the fine print.

The measure gives police the right to search or confiscate your computer and make a copy of your hard drive without any warrent and without any "probable cause".

Are you for that?

RE: Personal Computers not Personal Anymore?

Echelon has been up and running for years.

Every word you and I type is monitored and analyzed.
That's a done deal.

RE: Personal Computers not Personal Anymore?

I actually prefer that to the idea of employers having access to information about us that we cannot see.

But I agree with you that it's totally abusive.

Things are moving in a very ugly direction.

RE: Personal Computers not Personal Anymore?

We can't have privacy at any price.
It's already a done deal.

ALL internet communication is scanned for codes and keywords.
And the keywords include many terms we use all the time.
Anything that catches the computer's eye is then examined more closely and a file is created about the individual.
And the same file has information about bank records, credit card transactions, affiliations, phone records, library books checked out, police record, etc etc etc everything that has ever been put into a computer.
