The biggest problem isn't really racial. Who cares about the amount of melanin in a person's skin.
On the other hand, cultural differences are more important and will generate some problems.
Love can overcome such problems, but anyone who is race specific in their search isn't looking for love anyway, so the problems are going to be hard to overcome.
The problem is Zakk, that you will need forgiveness yourself. And you can only expect the same forgiveness you give others. Unforgiving people often end up totally alone.
We all have done things that had to be forgiven. I'd say that having come and apologized and swearing that he has changed etc. He deserves a second chance.
But I wouldn't just let him move into your life like before until he has proven himself over time
It's going to be a humbling and difficult time for him, but if he really loves you he should be willing to go the distance.
Don't be too quick to sweep the whole thing into the past. Old habits have a way of coming back if forgiveness comes too soon or too easily.
Personally, if the guy is from CS, I think it would be better to just stop communicating with him than to put all this in a thread that he is bound to read.
Well, not really, but still, when I'm confronted with this stuff after a while of not seeing it, its shocking to see just how blatant it is.
It's like being unplugged from the matrix and seeing things as they really are (without the soma).
I guess that's predictable.
The time is coming where people will have to either buy into the delusion or live totally outside of society. And in the latter case they will be branded as enemies.
Sure, the things in my life are real. It's the stuff that passes through the media that is false.
I've felt that way for decades and everything confirms it. The media creates a mass delusion that the public buys into. Much like a cult buys (en masse) into the delusions of a guru. The generally accepted lie becomes official truth.
Of course it's rigged. All elections are rigged. Including the US. What surprises me is the pretense that the election means anything at all.
Why would the candidates even bother claiming to have "won". Why would the media even pretend to take it all seriously.
Why would the government even bother staging an election in the first place, if behind it all, ultimate authority rests in an Ayatollah.
I get the feeling that all the hype is staged for the sake of western viewers. That it's all more about manipulating world opinion than it is about any "election".
The media coverage (watching Fox) is so moronic and full of BS that it seems to have been written and produced by morons for other morons to view.
Beg to differ. Washington does stuff like that all the time.
But they probably didn't need to in the Iwo Jima case. Simple pride is usually all it takes to ensure that people will maginify the importance of their own deeds.
I can't believe all the media hype about the Iranian election
That's really wishful thinking.Sadly it is Israel that is the nuclear power, and the eternal agressor in the region.
