I am the blue man
I came from the lonely moon
Moonlight shadows were cast as you walked along with someone new

But what could I do for so long I have been true
You never knew I am the blue man
I came from the lonely moon

Upon silver dust I glide
On to the shore where my feet came to rest
After skipping across a glistening tide

And sometimes you may turn around looking for someone but who
It will always be me I am the blue man
I came from the lonely moon

It wasn't your fault I just got caught in your eyes
As I looked up suddenly I was stuck in your eyes
Didn't mean to stare and oh I wish you well
But at that moment life was a carousel

Time became so quietly still and you were kind
I guess the way you spoke woke up my mind
I'm just someone that no one can explain
What could I say as a stranger with no name


I stepped back at the glance of a ring
That is when my heart began to sting
And I do wish you well and goodbye
It wasn't your fault I just got caught in your eyes

Roses are red and they make me cry
I gave them to you when we said goodbye
Your kisses are sweet and they make me sigh
When your lips touch mine they never lie

Once upon a time I was young and you were too
Now I'm alone under the summer sun and feeling blue

The day came when you loved someone new
And I understood what I should do
Goodbye was the only word I said
And roses yes roses are red

Can a prayer travel to the ends of the earth
And find the one I'm looking for
Can a prayer travel that far
And back to me to let me know where you are

I'm not looking for magic that's not real
I know what I feel and I'm down on my knees
Upon my face is a gentle breeze that dries the tears
I want to know can a prayer travel that far

The feelings in my heart trapped like fireflies in a jar
How do I release them let them go will they fade in the moon glow
To the ends of the earth can a prayer travel that far
And back to me to let me know where you are

I never know what's going on
Everyone else know what's going on
Is it going on behind my back
Is it going on right in front of my face
Will it happen again tomorrow too
What's going on
Is it a game
Will there be more join in on the secret torture
Am I a suspect a criminal or a dog
What's going on
See you later sweet potater
Are you gone brother
The good,bad and the ugly

The man with the broken heart
He doesn't know what to do
And with no one to pray for him
That's why he feels so blue

He tries to hide the hurt but they see him
Do they think that sadness is a work of art
There's no one in his shoes to be him

People can be nice but nice is an echo with an end
Can you begin to feel the feeling start
Like the moment you just noticed a sudden wind
And saying nothing to the man with the broken heart

Still pictures in his mind that won't come to life
Waiting for the next memory to start
And the next time people will be so nice
Do they see him the man with the broken heart

Memories are starting to fade away
Of girls I use to miss so much
Maybe tomorrow will bring a day
When I'll meet my lady love

I don't need to write a book
Just a really good line
But when she comes I'll have to say lady look
If I try to see words like a poet I'd be writing blind

Something better lies ahead
The past may echo like the sound of a dove
But I can't look back so instead
Tomorrow bring a day when I meet my lady love

I made a mistake but it was corrected many months later
And from the look she gave me the message was well put I must say
But now I understand where I stand and I'm standing very far away
All I ever saw were her eyes
I didn't see the ring she wore
Till many months had passed by
Yes this story is true if you wonder how in the world can that be
The only answer I can give is I'm the only me
The day came when I finally noticed the ring on her finger
Hurt brings a feeling and this time it was really a zinger
In a well put way

I might as well be a man from mars
She doesn't know I exist
Never never never,never never never
Never gonna get a kiss

If I had a space suit and went a floating through the air
She still wouldn't speak to me and pretend I wasn't there
If I had a spaceship I'd make her heart flip and her eyes see stars
But she would just hit eject and say adios to the man from mars

I got a few used spaceship parts and more on my list
Gonna leave soon as it's put together
Cause I'm never never never,never never never
Never gonna get a kiss

She doesn't know me never will so why should I try
To write a love song when it's all wrong
But I'm blue as the sky

My chances are slim but sometime that the chance you take
Take tomorrow and I just might learn how to fly

The paper I'm holding doesn't say a thing

A few girls have broken it
And though they tore it apart

Somehow after time it has mended again
And now I'll be careful when I start
To fall for another girl cause I'm lucky

Maybe I shouldn't mention it but has it happened to you
A guy doesn't like say how it makes him look like a fool
And after such a long time of walking in my shoes
