Stink, Stank, Stunk...

It's winter in the Northern Hemisphere and I'm reminded that people sometimes bathe less when the climate is cold(er) and that's their prerogative. I used to work with a guy who came from a Caribbean island where they didn't have running water in his village. His family had to walk to the well, pump it into buckets and carry it back to their house.

I'm not much for camping and thankful to have grown up living in a city environment. Friends have rented a Winnebago when they want to 'rough it' and drive around some remote campsites in America... shower and toilet are onboard. Oh, we've got it easy!

The point being: I understand because of environment, people have different levels of hygiene... that's a given and in many cases not related to their education or financial status.

Talking to a friend this past weekend, she mentioned that Trump stinks. I thought it was a political joke and she said. No, it's for real. He has offensive body odor.
C'mon, I said... he's extremely wealthy, probably has 150 suits, owns multiple golfing country clubs, hangs with other wealthy and influential people. How can that be possible?

Her response was: Google it.

Peace and Violence

Do you know that Peace is so important?
Have you ask yourself why you are led to violence?
what violence can do to you? It lead you to sin against yourself and against God!
Violence comes from evil to you,God will judge you for it if you do and it lead to destruction.
Violence can make you enemy of yourself and of others!

Peace is so important like food when you are hungry and like water when you are thirsty.
Therefore do peace with yourself and with others!

Peace is key to every knowledge,it will free you from hurting yourself and others!
How will peace free you from hurting yourself and others?
It mean:peace will heal you from anger and sadness, and so will make you to love yourself and others.
Peace will heal you from so many things.
So keep love in your heart and peace in yourself.
Those who do peace:shall be called:children of God.

So read bible and seek God and Jesus to know ...!
God bless.

GOD the all forgiving

Kenya's top prosecutor has ordered that 95 people from a doomsday cult be charged with murder, cruelty, child torture and other crimes in the deaths of 429 people believed to be members of the church.

The country's director of public prosecutions, Mulele Ingonga, was responding to pressure from a magistrate in the coastal county of Kilifi who told the prosecution to charge the suspects within two weeks or the court would release them.

For months since the arrests last April, prosecutors had asked the court for permission to keep holding church leader Paul Mackenzie and 28 others while they looked into the case that shocked Kenyans with the discovery of mass graves and allegations of starvation and strangulation.

Interracial Marriage

I'm glad that people find connections here, but interracial marriage can be challenging. Online conversation is vastly different in person, considering factors like culture, language, and political views. Based on my own experience, it's crucial to understand how someone reacts in simple situations, especially over petty things, before considering marriage.I advise people to learn their partner's language for better communication. While marriage can be blissful during the honeymoon phase, as you go along, you'll realize each other's weaknesses and strengths—that's when the real work kicks in. I believe it's a challenging job that requires hard work. If a marriage ends, it's not solely one side's fault.Living together before getting married can provide valuable insights into compatibility. Marrying on the first meeting might seem unusual as it often takes time to truly understand each other and assess long-term compatibility.heart wings angel

Solving a dispute like adults.

With me living with 8 other people, each living their own lives with vastly different ways of doing things or different traits, eventually there'll be some form of disagreement or something will annoy someone else. I have lived here for about 3 years, and usually it's been on the small side of things. Not turning off the light in the kitchen when people are done, over-using the washing machine, having small shindigs at 3 am on a weekday and not cleaning up after themselves in the kitchen.

Then there's more.. Severe.. Things that people can do, that impacts the other persons life and body. I have been guilty of two of those things. 1: Being loud with my singing, and 2: my snoring. The person in the room next to mine is someone who is suffering from Hyperacusis. That type of condition is a type of reduced tolerance to sound, making it extremely uncomfortable when someone is singing too loud or snoring too loud.

I didn't think my snoring was an issue until last Saturday morning at about 5:50 am. I woke up to a sound that can only be described as someone using a hammer on the wall at full speed. It continued for about 10 minutes or so, and then it died down. I thought it was me dreaming something, or imagining things, so I asked one of my other housemates if he had heard anything. He heard it as well, so it wasn't my imagination. It was only when I met the guy in the room next to me, that I got an explanation for it.

Apparently, my snoring has kept him awake. To the point where he had to be put on sick-leave from his studies, and has decided to move out when he can. Now, me being someone who cares about others, apologized to him and told him, that it wasn't my intention to cause any inconvenience. When we started the conversation, he was pretty aggressive towards me, almost raging at me for keeping him awake at night. I guess my tone of voice calmed him down, because ten minutes later, we were talking like adults, and not hurling abuse at each other. It was quite nice, because it gave me an opportunity to diffuse what could easily have ended with throwing hands.

I am happy it didn't get to that. I am not a violent person, and I am very afraid of any sort of conflict. We both apologized to each other. Me, for keeping him awake at night, and him for the knocking on the wall at 5:50 am on a Saturday morning.

I have decided to look for somewhere else to live, though. I found a place in Copenhagen with people who are between the ages of 39 and 55. They look like a bunch of nice people, so if I am getting that available room, I am sure that I will be happy there.

As for my snoring - well, I am looking into that. I have found a few products I would like to try out. so hopefully they will help me with my snoring. I ordered them today, and they will arrive in a few days. I will test them out and see if they help my snoring, and my general sleep pattern, which is not good. I might order some more products, so my snoring can be eliminated, or reduced by 95%.

So yes - solving a dispute like adults CAN be achieved, if you just remain calm, keep a calm tone of voice and admit your mistakes, if you have made any. That's also how you can achieve a happy personal life. Remain calm, don't raise your voice and acknowledge any mistakes you might have made. Pro tip!

Lein on me...

I pay an accountant to do my corporate and personal taxes. She's a licensed CPA and we usually work via email. I scan and send documents to her and things that require original signature go by US postal Service. I'll mail checks to her for services. We are both good with this arrangement and have been doing it for years.

Last year, I received a letter from the IRS stating I didn't pay all the 3rd quarter tax. They found an error in the calculation. She missed adding a number from a previous column to the total. My accountant review it and apologized for the error. I mailed the check to the IRS two weeks before the due date. It went out certified mail.

Saturday, I received a letter from the IRS threatening to seize my property for non-payment.

I went online to review my bank statement and my check cleared 20 days after it was mailed and 3 days before they sent out the notice. What irked me was it took more than 2 weeks for them to receive my payment. Obviously a postal delay.

Monday was a legal holiday, but the first thing today was to call and find out what happened. The agent I spoke to stated the account now has a zero balance and the interest and penalty had been removed. She noted my account in the event 'the left hand didn't figure out what the right hand was (or wasn't) doing' so I have no repercussions.

I prefer mailing checks, but in future I would consider going online to make an electronic payment... that way, they won't lien on me!

Summary: I dislike the threat, and not a "did you receive the first notice? Please send a check" Certainly the post office taking weeks for a certified letter when it should have been 2-3 days or mail mis-delivered that happens a few times a month.

Honeymoon..

To my Giant and I new year means new fiscal year.. new budget plan implementation.. new schedule adjustment.. and all those mean busy.. busy.. busy! frustrated

You see, my Giant is a night bat and a late morning worm, while Kal is a morning bird and an evening koala. However, for two days we changed that a bit. Surprisingly enough he could become a morning bird and I was a night owl. Yes, several days ago we decided to have a two day honeymoon before our jobs take most of our time.

Honeymoon! wow

Hmm.. you know.. doing things together.. being silly crazy.. having baths, dressing up (when at home Kal wears mostly underwear, Tshirt and short only sometimes hole), eating, watching movies, staring at each other, kissing, including .. etc etc.. virtually ofcourse.. video calling on Skype and WA.

I love my Giant very much and he loves me as much. I know to some that sounded ridiculous, but not to us. We enjoyed our romantic moments as in real life. heart beating heart wings

Thank you my HB for the unforgettable honeymoon. lips

1 more obscure blog...about the number of the beast

666

What do you know about this number?

Well, it is commonly referred to as the Number of the Beast.

What do you think about this....in modern times...

Women want a man to make:

6 figures and be
6 feet tall and have a
6 inch stick in his pants

What are we to make of that?

FAA’s diversity push includes focus on hiring people with ‘severe intellectual’ and ‘psychiatric’ disabilities

The Federal Aviation Administration is actively recruiting workers who suffer “severe intellectual” disabilities, psychiatric problems and other mental and physical conditions under a diversity and inclusion hiring initiative spelled out on the agency’s website.

“Targeted disabilities are those disabilities that the Federal government, as a matter of policy, has identified for special emphasis in recruitment and hiring,” the FAA’s website states. “They include hearing, vision, missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability and dwarfism.”

“Do you want to fly in an airplane where they prioritized DEI hiring over your safety?,” tech billionaire Elon Musk wrote on X last week. “That is actually happening.”

I say, flying could become a lot more fun in the future.
Is it a bird? dunno
Is it a plane? dunno
Is it superman?dunno
