If you get a partner with a hearing impairment, would you learn how to do proper sign language or would you just make do pointing at the fridge/washing machine etc.?
Majority of flights here are about an hour, animals are well cared for in the cargo hold. We banned smoking on all flights, because the comfort of the majority was considered more important than the desires of a few. So far as I'm concerned all pets can travel in the cargo hold.
I get the impression you think she's not guilty, and so nobody else should think she is either. You seem very confident it is her first time, and it's purely out of desperation. That's ok, it's good to show compassion. Hopefully she gets a fair hearing in court, and help addressing whatever her actual problem is.
Guide dogs for the blind, certainly. I'm pretty sure here they're allowed everywhere pretty much. Animals that provide comfort or emotional support should be in the cargo hold with everyone else's dog or other animals.
Guide dogs are highly trained, at great expense, to behave appropriately. Many don't make it through the training for whatever reason, and become assistance dogs instead.
I don't expect when I buy a plane ticket, to be subjected to someones farting mutt just because it finds the tv remote or barks when somebody is at the door. If the passenger can't handle a flight without their pet by their side, maybe theyr shouldn't fly.
Working two jobs, but chooses not to pay for a few dollars worth of bread? Many folks don't have any work at all but still manage to stay honest, and so I would question the need to steal groceries. To feed starving children is a stronger defense than admitting resources are being spent on cigarettes/alcohol/drugs/gambling/etc.
Bread alone is not a balanced healthy diet, one would question if bread is the only thing she is stealing or if it just what she was caught taking.
I come from a country settled by convicts, many people claim it was only for stealing a loaf of bread, and leave out the fact the convict attacked the shopkeeper with an axe when they chased them down the street...
So yes, guilty. Ultiately honest people pay higher grocery prices to cover shop theft, including other struggling single mothers. Though the punishment should fit the crime, a conviction and suspended sentence would be enough in most cases.
All the money raised is going straight to the RFB's (in south australia and nsw), so hopefully folks will feel more generous. I think the red cross has really blown it...
Yeah, it goes well with gin and mineral water. About 7 or 8 bucks a bottle though.
And happy 'Straya day to you also... I usually avoid it up here, too many drunk murris out looking to pick a fight with a whitey... But I'll go to a bushfire fundraiser thingy.
RE: Did you ever purchase a prostitude ?
I'm still saving up for it. The bank refused to lend me the money.
