wondering why
have jeans been mainly blue in color for the last 100+ years. Why is that color so popular for jeans?

Laser-friendly fabrics
With denim giants like Levi’s moving forward with laser finishing, mills emphasized fabrics that are laser compatible in 2019.
Naveena’s X.0 collection touted laser-sensitive fabrics dubbed Beam Denim. The fabrics are specifically designed for laser applications, allowing for easy chip-off and reduced finishing time. Additionally, the mill says the fabrics are easy on the environment, saving on energy and water and eliminating harsh chemicals.

When I think of jeans, I think blue....they even call them blue jeans. I know some of the first Levis over 100 years old were blue. It is something how that color just stuck and people seem to be magnetically attracted to it...for so long even.
For example...you go into a second hand store, most of the men's jeans are blue.....I would venture to say most of the women's too. It seems as we as a culture have just accepted that. Or maybe, most of the jeans stores sell are just blue.
And oh here is another color I have.. Brown..!!

Skinny fit!
They went in a cupboard for years through different 'jeans' shape fashion till skinny jeans came into fashion and.I dag them out in the late 90's early 2000!
Still fitted into them and wore them till they fell apart some years back!
No matter what other colour jeans I have (blue, black, turquoise, purple, grey) I always own a pain of red ones!
Don't change a thing about your style.

But I have a blue pair that I never wear. I prefer linen trousers that are more comfortable. I don't like the feeling of denim against my skin.

My family has all notified each other of our meeting place and I have an elder friend who does not drive I will wait with.
It is still extremely windy, heading away from town.
Our high school is an appointed emergency shelter.
There has been one helicopter that was dumping but the winds and the proximity to traffic.
My friend got home said she was flanked by 4 foot
flames and had to go with the flow.
It has become a huge mushroom cloud and might circle back when evening comes.At 3 a.m. we woke to the smell of smoke and sunrise was hazy.
It is clear due to direction of the winds.
Local ranchers are seeking higher ground as workers get the early start towards home, into the fire zone before it closes to grab overnight bags.
Others were watering the periphery of homes.
In the video 3 separate homes were engulfed.
Still hearing copters as I write, our firefighters were sent in hours ago.
Lots of equestrian centers, boarding, small livestock
in this area.And grow ops.(hemp harvest started)
I am curious, what is the issue with putting jeans in a dryer?
There is really no where to go, as the vicinity has forest fires up the main route , the I-5 goes from California to Washington.
I hope to fly out asap once the airports can verify my flights.
P.S. my sister in Georgia has completed her surgery and has recovery ahead but did exceptional well.
