Be Yourself
It is so easy to spin a yarn to impress somebody but it always backfires. If it requires a lie to be the person that somebody wants you to be, it is doomed to failure; for one lie is never enough. You have to keep lying to maintain all the previous lies and before you know your whole life will be build on lies. You may even believe your own lies in the end but sooner or later the whole card house will collapse.
If you are not what the object of your affections requires you to be, give it up. You can never be exactly what other people want you to be; they will always find fault with it. You will be pretending and that will make you a fake. And sooner or later fakes are always discovered.
Don’t try to change yourself into what others want you to be and don’t expect them to do it; you will be wasting your time with one unsuccessful relationship after the other. Precious time that could have been used to find somebody who likes you just the way you are.
Sure, work on your shortcomings, by all means. Develop and better yourself. Those who can accept you with all your flaws will only like you more if you improve yourself. Widen your horizons but in the directions that you want to go. Don’t allow others to decide what you want to be. Only you know who you really want to be.
Remember, you cannot ever please everybody so please yourself. Those who do not like you as you are not worth your time.

If you really want to see a silly game taken too serous then you must watch the Americans when they play that game they call 'Talking Politics'. even those on the same side fight with each other. I don't quite understand the rules; it seems complicated.

It got to the point that we never knew what to believe when she spoke.
I often wondered could it be that she could not help herself.
I think they want to believe their lies so badly (maybe their life isn't as good as they want it to be, or else they need lots of attention and lies are the only way they will get it
it is kind of hard to protect people against their own stupidity. If you can honestly say that you did nothing to mislead that person, i think you're in the clear.
I was just about to reply the same thing but then I got visitors. they only left now.
The phenomena,is simple to explain. great minds think alike.

I'm hated for this because of pointing out what's wrong.
I.e. this terrors amidst us are all preventable but there are people who love havoc and killing. I hate them.
Now I don't care who hates me, I fight for what's right.

for millenniums everybody was told that the earth is flat and everybody believed it. You better had or be burned at a stake for heresy.
We often run into stonewalls when our vision of what is right is not in line with the majority. According to some the majority is always right.
Would you believe me if I told you that, a diamond is merely a lump of coal that did well under pressure, and that
everybody wants to go to heaven; but nobody wants to die?
Some truths seem unbearable...
Does it really matter whether you are killed in the name of religion; or because you live in a certain country; or simply because a country has an army which is getting itchy feet, and big armament contractors getting greedy?
It's like preaching to the converted. I'm sure nobody here are liars.
To be honest, if I were to be killed, I would prefer that it were someone who did it because they truly believed I was the enemy, rather than just being considered collateral damage in a pseudo-war of greed.
they've been fighting there since long before they even knew they had oil. In fact oil only became a strategic resource recently. what were they fighting for before oil; sand dunes?
During its long history, Jerusalem has been attacked 52 times, captured and recaptured 44 times, besieged 23 times, and destroyed twice.
why don't they just move Jerusalem to Mars and let those who want to fight for it do it there.
Very few people managed that so far. To my knowledge, Enoch (I think that's his English name), Elijah,& Mohammad. Then maybe some from other religions. I'm not clued up on the Eastern religions. there may be one or two there.
So you'd better start pulling in your favors if you want to do that.
