A FairyTale

A long long time ago, in a place far far away, the
Chieftain of a small isolated principality decided to
throw his lot in with all of his neighbors and they
joined a revolt against the King.
The revolt ended badly, but the Chieftain had shown
such valor that the King spared his life. He was to
be exiled to the colonies in the New World.
The Chieftain took his wife, his daughter, and his new
born son, as well as a handful of possessions, and
set sail for the colonies.
The New World was kind to them and they prospered
in the new land. Another daughter was born, a lovely
home was built and the Chieftain started to make a
great name for himself hunting, trapping and trading
with aboriginals.
As his reputation grew, the Crown became nervous
that the Chieftain might become a threat and hatched
a plan to remove him forever.
He was hanged after a short trial for having sheep on
his land that were not his own.
His son, only 6 years of age, became the man of the
family that day and went to work.
He went to work for the new electric company as a pole
monkey, climbing up the poles to set the new wires in
place.
He supported his family so that his sisters could attend
school and they could all eat. His sisters taught him his
letters and arithmetic at night by candle light.
The boy became a man and advanced through the new
electric company with a vengeance. No job was too hard
or too complicated for him.
Eventually he was given the responsibility to engineer the
newest power generating station.
Upon it's completion and the ensuing festivities and ball to
inaugurate the system, he was introduced to the Governor's
grand daughter.
They fell hopelessly in love.
With hat in hand, he went to the Governor's mansion and
asked for the grand daughter's hand in marriage.
The Governor was a very smart and honest man. He said
yes, but with only three conditions.
Upon providing a suitable residence, free and clear of debt,
the princely sum of $10,000 pounds on deposit, and a new
automobile in the driveway, he would have the Governor's
blessing, and the hand of his grand daughter, if she agreed.
The deal was struck and in only twelve years, all was as it
needed to be.
They were married in the church that her family had all been
baptized in for three generations.
He went on to become the Superintendent of the electrical
system.
They had one son and lived out the years bringing smiles
to each others' faces every day and all that saw them and
knew them were satisfied in the knowledge that there is
nothing that is impossible.
Many years later, illness caught up with him. He fought hard
to stay with his love, but he could not.
She joined him less than three weeks later.
After all that they had been through to be together, they would
not be separated by death.
They are together now.

Is life really meaningless ?..1

MEANING CAN BE understood in two ways. There is meaning that is somewhere far away, you have to reach to it. It is extrinsic.
Life is not meaningful in this first sense. And it is good that life is not meaningful in that sense, because then life becomes only a means to reach to the faraway goal, the faraway star. Then life loses its autonomous beauty. It is just a way; the real thing is tomorrow.

Meaning has another category too: intrinsic. Life is tremendously meaningful in the second sense. Then meaning is not separate, somewhere else; then meaning is in the very living itself.

You don't ask, has love any meaning? You know love is itself meaningful, it is not a means to some end. You do not ask if the beauty of a rose is meaningful. The beauty itself is enough; it does not lead anywhere, it contains its meaning within itself.

In existence everything that is really valuable is always intrinsically meaningful. And life is equivalent to existence. Life has meaning. If you just change the word "life" into "living," you will be able to understand more easily. Living has meaning -- each moment -- because living is not something dead like "life." The word "life" is dead -- all nouns are dead. But the language is created by dead people.

Some day the new man is going to create a language which consists only of verbs, because that will be authentic to existence. In existence there is no noun. Have you seen "life"? Have you met "life" anywhere? All that you meet, experience, is living.

Sipping a cup of tea, going for a morning walk, doing your work -- all these small activities make up your living. And each part, each moment of living, is meaningful. You just have to be there; otherwise, who is going to experience the meaning?

People go on drinking tea, but they never are there; their minds are wandering all over the world. People are making love, but they are not there. It is a very strange world that we have created. In one bedroom there are at least four people. Already the bedrooms are so small, too difficult for two people; and in the bed there are four people, or even more. These two people who are making love are not there: the man is thinking of some Hollywood actress, the woman is thinking of Muhammad Ali. So there are four people. Who is making love to whom? These two people are simply going through the gestures of love -- they are not present -- mechanical gestures of love. And then they ask, "Is there any meaning in life?"

You go on losing every moment by your absence.

WHEN I WAS A STUDENT, my principal in the high school was continuously troubled by my absence from the school. My family was troubled. I would start going to school, but never reach there. Life was so much, and so many things were happening on the way... and the school was almost one mile away from the house.

The principal called me one day and said, "You are almost always absent."
I said, "That's where you are wrong."
He said, "What do you mean?"
I said, "I am always present wherever I am. To be absent is not my style of life. And what can I do? -- this one mile between the school and my house.... A magician was doing his tricks on the street, and I became present there. It was far more interesting than your teachers, and I learned more than I could have learned here -- because whatever your teacher is saying I can read in the book, but I will never meet that magician again. And he did such beautiful tricks that when he was finished I followed him to his tent outside the city.

Your history books lie

We are taught in school that civilization began with Sumer and later the Bronze Age. Before that was the ice age when vast sheets of ice over a mile thick in some places covered the Earth..

There was no civilization before that, or so we are taught.

Consider then this map. "Nova et Aucta Orbis Terrae Descriptio ad Usum Navigantium Emendate Accommodata" It was released by Gerardus Mercator in the year 1569. Allegedly he made it using the accounts of sailors and fragments of much older maps from the Mid East.

Most humans today do not notice two improbable features about this map.

In 1541 there emerged a printing of a map drawn in the second century by Ptolemy. Ptolemy maintained it was a copy of a much older map that had been rescued from the ashes of the library at Alexandria.

Here is that map. Again, features exist most did not realize until fairly recently although one should be immediately obvious.

The 1569 map of Mercator, look in the lower left corner. Do you recognize that continent? Antarctica. When was Antarctica discovered and mapped?

Would you believe not until1819? It is true.

Note the land masses near between Australia and Asia on the Mercator map. Note also the shape of the Mediterranean. Until about 50 hyears ago those were believed to be mere map errors. Today however we know those were accurate representations of those areas, back around 30,000 years ago or so. Before the last ice age began. When the miles thick ice melted those areas flooded as the sea rose.

Now look at the Ptolemey map. Again, two things. The same land masses now known to be accurate pre-ice age representations of the coast lines drawn in a time we had no mariners and no civilization, or so we are taught.

Something else on Ptolemey's map. Something that won't be seen again on a map for decades and decades. Latitude and Longitude marks. Calculating latitude is easy. The angle of the sun (or certain agreed upon stars such as Polaris) can be used to detemine that. However calculating Longitude requires something which durn sure (supposedly) did not exist in the time before the ice age, nor in the time of the Library at Alexandria, nor in Ptolemey's time either. Indeed it did not even exist in 1541 when Ptolemy's map was re-printed.

To calculate Longitude you need a chronometer (i.e., an accurate clock) able to measure exactly how many minutes away you are from an agreed upon central reference point (today we use Greenwich, England). The problem with Ptolemy's map is simple. His map set the zero lattitude at the equator, something he should not have known of yet and he copied longitude marks onto his 2nd century copy almost 1,100 years before longitude was again recalculated in 1350 or so.

So what does this give us? Amazingly accurate pre ice age maps showing yet to be discovered continents with a grid coordinate system from a time in which supposedly there was no civilization, no commerce, no need for maps and no technology to use or make them with anyway.

Usman Kahn...and the backlash...

The name sort of has a certain ring to it. No, unlikely that it's Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist or Christian. Baha'i, Animist, or Sufi, as well. No, folks, likely a member of the religion of compassion and peace. This 28 year old knife murderer of young Brits on London bridge, was early paroled for plotting to bomb infidels, a mere 6 years ago. These attacks are getting as frequent as school shootings here in the good old USA. We'll all hear the PC liberals self loathers complain that we are singling out these murderers for racism (their favorite virtue signaling word), and religious xenophobia, (next most favorite, followed by homophobia). So ask yourselves, if somehow there just might be a pattern here, --ya think? Love it when religious activists complain of unfair prejudice against their kind. Another favorite trope is the concept of islamophobia. I think most of us decent people somehow are still willing to give so called peaceful believers the benefit of the doubt, especially if we all know decent such folks. But for how much longer, before real identity hate really starts? We are all sorry that the once world leader of culture, a millennial ago, is now almost everywhere in backwater states. Blame infidels as you will, rather than trying to self improve. But you are hurting yourselves. Many are beginning to slowly say, "when in doubt, we call 'em as we see 'em". How about you? It's really on themselves, via education, and family values, etc., to decrease the numbers of their own murderous hotheads, if possible, to zero. And perhaps while they are at it, stop treating their ladies as mindless little possssions to be covered up and controlled. Not the job of the infidels.

Limitations

Arrived to the paddling rendezvous a few minutes to early and wanted to use the opportunity - the sunny weather, the stillness, the solatude - for a short meditation. But as soon as I closed my eyes and took a deep concsious breath, I've been attacked by a large fly.

To see a fly at our latitude on 30 Dec was a wonder on its own. And this one was so fat and zaftig... I regretted that I don't eat flies :/

Those numerous limitations of mine...

Hawaiki Nui Hawaki Roa Hawaiki Pamamao

This is a common saying in Aotearoa (New Zealand) and I am sharing it with the world of what it means and the purpose behind it

Ha = Breath, breathe, taste

Wai = Instructions given, memory. Recollection of words.

Ki = Full, say, tell, mention, think

Nui = Big, Large

Pa = Touch, blow as the wind.

Ma = Clean, white, clear

Mao = Distant

Roa = Long, tall. Long (of time), delayed. Length. Length of time, delay

The following is translated in english but in the order as written, because in general our language is written in the exact same format as Japanese, as in the sentence structure. The sentence can be written in two forms. Which is then reiterated as close to its meaning as possible.

Hawaiki = Breath/e instructions given full
1. Full breath, instructions given
2. Breathe full, instructions given

Hawaiki Nui = Large Full breath of instructions given.

Hawaiki Roa = Long/Delayed Full breath of instructions given.

Hawaiki Pamamao = Blow as the wind, clean, distant, full breath of instructions given
Touch, clean, distant, full breath of instructions given.

Pamamao has many meanings, too many to number, so I have used the meanings that relate with the first two.

My theory as to this most famous saying, is the method of learning from heaven, because there was only ONE type of instruction that truly mattered Father’s instructions. So breathe in deeply, slowly and you literally breathe in the instructions. Then exhale them, and this is a repeated process.

I believe it’s related to our tukutuku panels and the poutokomanawa (cetral coloumn) of the wharenui. It’s related because the instructions are from heaven taken in from the mouth and the longer the breath the more insructions are consumed. The reason the tukutuku panels are around the whare inside, The poutokomanawa represents My Ancestors and the tukutuku panels represents My Ancestors Visions and how he/she saw the world all around them.

The ‘X’ used to create stairs in the tukutuku panels represents the FIRST word of God in the Maori Culture. Which is HOW you follow the steps of heaven, which then refers back to the oldest most common sayings in Aotearoa.

Hawaiki Nui
Hawaiki Roa
Hawaiki Pamamao

Incidently, when you begin to breathe in instructions of heaven your breath becomes, over time, naturally clear, or clean.

Here are links to what I am talking about inside a whare:

IS 2020 REALLY THE LAST GASP FOR REPUBLICANS?

There has been a lot of internet chatter that 2020 is going to be the last gasp for the Republicans as it will be the last term for Trump(if he wins) and unless the Republicans can get a candidate that can appeal to the nutjobs clamoring for socialism in the Democrat party they are not going to squander another opportunity to retake the White House and this time they are in it for the long haul! Who can honestly doubt,in light of their past failed attempt at subverting the lawful vote in this Country, that if they EVER retake the White House they will ever again relinquish it? In light of Bible prophecy that predicts(it has never been wrong in 6,000 years!)an end times scenario such as the Great Tribulation and this communist/socialist takeover of the leadership of the United States takes on an even greater urgency! Coupled with the fact that by 2024 there are going to be sufficient multitudes of illegal aliens in the US to sway the vote to their puppetmasters in the Damns party and it is almost a foregone conclusion that we will be giving the Nazi salute to Hillary and her evil from the depths of hell cronies! Being a Christian I have,as they say, seen how the entire struggle between the forces of Good & Evil ends up; in Revelation the devil, all his demons and ALL of unredeemed humankind ends up in the lake of fire and everyone who makes it to heaven lives in eternal peace and security with God! However,as a born and bred American, someone who volunteered to serve during Viet Nam as a Marine it still doesn't do my heart much good to see what this country has degenerated into and it nearly makes me sick to see our great Country devolve into some half-assed third world totalitarian state that nobody will want to fight to defend! It is still not too late, but at this point,I don't think much good will come to this Country without some good old fashioned Hell-Fire and brimstone preaching and national religious revival! Amen and God bless you all! WHAT DO YOU THINK?
