The God squad.

It's clear that our beliefs in God can provide great strength and comfort to many souls. Soldiers in combat, loss of a loved one, other personal challenges, etc. But today I heard a radio program with a gaggle of (?well fed) clerics being interviewed on the subject. Fine and dandy, until they all started trying to tell the world what God thinks, or wants, or plans, etc. It strikes me as the height of arrogance (look up the traditional meaning of the word) for mere humans to be claiming such insight. All the worse is being paid to do so. If the Creator really is the moving force behind all the many wonders we see, how can we possibly assume to know what she's thinking? Sting had it right. Poets, priests and politicians, have words to thank for their positions,---when their elegance escapes us, their logic (ties us up and) rapes us. Aa.

~~ THE WORD AND LOGAS ~~11

You have seen in every temple a gong. That is placed there to create sounds around a seeker.

Someone is meditating, and the gong is sounded or a bell is rung. A disturbance seems to have been created by the very sound of the bell; someone is meditating, and this bell or gong seems disturbing. In a temple, every visitor who comes will hit the gong or ring the bell. With someone meditating there, this would seem to be a constant disturbance. It is not, because the person is waiting for this sound.

So every visitor is helping. Again and again the bell is hit, and the sound is created and the meditator again enters himself. He looks at the center, where this sound goes deep. There is one hit on the bell - the visitor has done that. Now the second hit will be inside the meditator, somewhere inside.

Where is it? The sound always hits at the belly, at the navel, never in the head. If it hits in the head, you can understand well that it is not sound, it is words. Then you have started thinking about the sound. Then the purity is lost.

Now there is much research about children who are in the womb. They are also hit by sounds and they react to sounds. They cannot react to language. They have no head yet, they have no reasoning, and they do not yet know language and the agreed-upon customs of the society. They do not know about language, but they hear the sounds. And every sound affects the child more than it affects the mother, because the mother cannot hear the sounds - she hears the words. And we are creating mad sounds, chaotic, and those sounds are hitting the unborn children. They will be born mad; you have already disturbed them too much.

Even plants are affected by sound. They grow more if some musical sounds are created around them; they grow less if some chaotic sounds are created around them. You can help them to grow.

You can help them in many ways through sounds.

Now they say that because of traffic noises - which are not harmonious and cannot be - man is going mentally insane, and it seems that the limit has come. If it grows more, then there is no hope for man. These sounds are hitting you continuously, but if you think about them they will hit your head, and that is not the center: the navel is the center. So do not think about them.

All the mantras are meaningless sounds. And if some master says that "This is the meaning of this mantra," then it is not a mantra at all. A mantra needs to be, of necessity, without meaning. It has some work, but no meaning. It has to do something within you, but it has no meaning because it has just to be a pure sound within you. That is why we evolved the mantra AUM. It is meaningless, it is just a pure sound. If this pure sound is created within you, if you can create it within, then too the same technique can be used.

BATHE IN THE CENTER OF SOUND, AS IN THE CONTINUOUS SOUND OF A WATERFALL. OR, BY PUTTING THE FINGERS IN THE EARS, HEAR THE SOUND OF SOUNDS. You can create the sound just by using your finger, or with anything which closes your ears forcibly. Then a certain sound is heard. What is that sound, and why do you hear it when the ears are closed, when the ears are plugged?

It happened in America, that a train passed through a certain neighborhood in the middle of the night, somewhere about 2:00 a.m. A new line was inaugurated and the train stopped moving on the old route. But a very strange phenomenon happened. The people who were living in that neighborhood where the train had stopped moving complained to the police that at about 2:00 a.m. something mysterious was heard. There were so many reports, it had to be investigated what was the matter.

Another Year to Love Him

By Maria Fontaine DECEMBER 28, 2015

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”—Ephesians 3:20 (1)

The end of one year and the beginning of the next is a good time to look back on the accomplishments and victories, as well as the mistakes of the old year, and to look forward with determination to do our best to make the new year an even better and more fruitful one!

As you commit the new year to Him, He can help you to consolidate last year’s gains, as you continue to acknowledge Him in all your ways and ask Him to guide your steps.2 He promises to direct your path, because you have placed your faith in Him. He is going to guide you and open the doors He has prepared just for you, as you commit your future and hopes to Him and trust in Him with all your heart.3

Every year can be a year of growth in the Spirit, growth in outreach, and growth in drawing closer to Jesus, if we commit it all into His safekeeping. His Word encourages you to weather any storms you may be facing, to hang on to hope no matter how big the waves may seem, or how powerful or how swift. If you’ll hang on to Him, He’ll hold you up and prosper you, and take you safely to the destination that He has planned for you. Remember, “The future is as bright as the promises of God!” and all you have to do to please the Lord is to do your best.

We all need to have a vision of what the Lord wants for us, something that will motivate us to keep going even when the going gets tough. Besides the direction the Lord has given you personally through His still‚ small voice speaking to your heart, He also speaks to each of us through His printed Word. Just think: He has given us His “exceeding great and precious promises,” through which we can actually partake of His divine nature!4

If you’re struggling about anything in your life, remember that it’s well worth it to hold on and to keep fighting the good fight of faith. If you keep the faith and hold tight to His promises to you, even at those times when it may seem as if all is lost, you will eventually see the fulfillment of the blessings that He has promised. He loves you, and will work every single challenge and difficulty to your good in some way, in this life or the next.

Think daily on all the gifts of love that He gives you, because He loves you—just you! He loved you enough to give His life for you. He still loves you enough to give His life for you. We just have to receive His gifts—His life, hope, joy‚ fulfillment, love, compassion, anointing, strength‚ help, and all His gifts and blessings, and His wonderful‚ life-giving words. Priceless treasures above all that we can ask or think!

He daily loads us with His abundant blessings so that we have so much we can’t contain it all! We should be motivated to do all we can to share God’s love and truth with others so they can also partake of His never-ending riches in glory. And the more we share it, the more He’ll pour it on. The more we praise Him for what He has already given us, the more room we make to receive His wonderful gifts.

God Knows

And I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year:
“Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown.”

And he replied:

“Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the Hand of God.
That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way.”6

Our Enterprise Pt. 1

Embedded image from another site

By David Berg May 04, 2015

The first Star Trek movie ever filmed was a sort of parable in which the good ship Enterprise and its good Captain Kirk and crew are sent on a mission to find out whether an alien spaceship that’s approaching earth is friendly or hostile, and to determine what to do about it. They discover that it’s a very powerful, sophisticated spaceship which was accidentally created by the Voyager 6 space probe sent out from earth to collect information. Then it became a sort of sentient being that was becoming curious as to why it had been created, what it was, and who created it, and it wanted to find its creator. So it was headed back to earth to find its creator.

The space probe created by NASA had gone out into space and learned so much that it was able to become this tremendous spaceship, which was now headed back to earth because it wanted to get acquainted with its creator. It wanted to find out why it had been created and get some answers. This is the general gist of the story.

The implied meaning to this movie is that man has been created, placed here on earth by his Creator. And he’s been formed with a natural inborn desire to find and know his Creator and to be joined to Him, which we know is God. And this is, of course, applicable to us; that’s why God made us. “He has also set eternity in the human heart.”1

The human body in a sense is like a machine, but we’re much more complicated than any machines. We are self-reproducing machines, and we not only have knowledge and logic and the ability to reason, but also emotions and feelings, the greatest of which is love, that lift us far above any machine, animal, or other created thing, although even animals can understand love. Science has found that even plants can understand love. It seems as if all living things are sensitive to love and human emotion. And of course God has put in man’s heart the eternal desire to find and know and love God, his Creator.

Man is always searching for God, and God is searching for man. But man has to find God through the ways God has provided or he’s not going to find Him. And the way that we find the Lord is through His Spirit, which is in a sense His communicator. God is available to man, and God wants man to find Him and know Him, but he has to be willing to turn on his receiver, and desire God and be hungry for God and be willing to listen to God’s communications; most of all, God’s Word. God’s primary way of communicating with man is through His Word. God’s principal means of communicating to man what He is like is Jesus.

God has made a way for man to know his Creator, and He has made that the only way—“the way, the truth, and the life”—and there’s no other mediator or communicator except the man Christ Jesus.2 God has ordained it that if you want to know God, you have to go through Jesus. You have to find Christ. His communication is Jesus, and you have to find God that way. There’s no other way to find God because there is no other God and no other representation or living Word of God except Jesus.

Anyone who truly wants to find the Lord will find Him; God has promised that. Jesus Himself said that He fills the hungry heart, and “If you seek Me, you’ll find Me.”3 If any person really seeks to find the Lord and communicate with Him, the Lord will see to it that he finds Him somehow. There are many salvation testimonies of people who were out trying to find God and trying to seek a reason for their existence, a meaning to their life. “What’s it all about? Who am I? What am I here for?” If they seek Him, they’ll find Him. “That they may know Me, whom to know is life eternal.”4

The Resurrection of Life - Pt. 2

Embedded image from another site

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,51 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.52 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 KJV

“For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God. And the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air.”8 With one sudden, supernatural, miraculous, mighty stroke of God, He waves His wand of power, and presto! We who are alive will be changed, translated, and raised incorruptible, to meet the Lord in the air. People talk about the thrill of skydiving! Your body will be changed right on the spot, from a body that’s merely alive to a body that’s going to live forever!

“Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep”—we’re not all going to die in the Lord; some of us are still going to be alive when the Lord comes—“but we shall all be changed.”9 He says it’s a mystery, since it’s pretty hard to understand and explain, because how can you explain that an old corrupt rotten body that’s been in the grave for hundreds or even thousands of years is going to come to life and be perfectly whole and even better than it was before?

“We shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump”—as quick as you can bat your eye, as quick as you can wink or blink your eye. “For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”10

“For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”11 Somehow, through a miracle, God is going to do for our bodies even as He did for Jesus. Of course, Jesus wasn’t dead for nearly as long as many people have been.

“He shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself.”12 You’re going to be like Jesus was after His resurrection! He walked with His followers and talked with them. He even ate with them and drank with them. He cooked for them once.13 In your new resurrection body you’ll be able to eat, sleep, drink, and do whatever you can do now. But you’ll also be able to do some things you’ve never been able to do in your natural body.

Jesus was not only able to do these natural things, but when they were in a locked room with all the doors barred, all of a sudden He came walking right through the locked door.14 You’ll be able to walk through walls, doors, fly up through ceilings and appear and disappear, just like Jesus did. You’ll be able to travel not just with the slow speed of sound or light, but with the speed of thought from one place to another!

When Jesus suddenly appeared from nowhere to His disciples in that locked-up room, it says, “They were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.”15 They were almost scared to death, as they thought they were seeing a ghost! But Jesus said to them, “Touch Me, feel Me, see that it is I Myself; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see Me have.”16 He didn’t say flesh and blood, “for flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God,” because “the life of the flesh is in the blood.”17

Dschihad

What does it mean?
The true meaning is: zeal, effort.
And is the fight against "Dunja", which means the world in arabic.
The world created by God is not bad anyway, but the relations between people and their deeds on earth are often in evil contradiction to the will of God.
The world "Dunja" seduces the people and distracts them from the righteous way of life, makes them greedy, brutish and proud. "Dschihad" is the fight against these weaknesses.

In the name of egality
in the name of ghastly ideas
in the name of freedom and liberty
of brotherhood and love
people are forging their weapons
and drown everything in blood.

translated from Schirina Dossowa, "Moja vecnaja vesna".

~~~ THE PATH ~~~
It is said that there are many paths and it does seem that way. One person says do this and another person says do that, but no matter what happens, life itself is the way and shows us the way. We are pushed and pulled into so many directions and end up clueless to what we should do or what path we should take.
Please know that this too is a part of the plan, as everything is, for in a bigger picture your very life is your path no matter what path you seem to be taking. With other words you can’t do anything wrong. You cannot ever be off the path no matter how hard you try. You could sit in your room and watch TV all day, and this would be part of your path. You could not believe in a God and be an atheist and you would still be on your path, because your life IS your path.
If you think, however, you have to walk on a path toward realizing your true Self, your path will become your hindrance. The sooner you get off your “path,” the better and the closer you will be to your goal.
The Prayer of Jesus (part 6)
And Lead Us Not Into Temptation, But Deliver Us From The Evil One.
Memo
From: Lord Lucifer
To: All Minions-of-Evil
Subject: Performance Review
Get with it, guys! Our objective of world domination- while making major advances- has not yet been met!!!
Yes, we have pulled off some good ones- my performance in the Garden of Eden was especially brilliant-and much remains to be done. Never forget: Mankind has a great Champion...and a powerful Secret Weapon. I remind you again: Beware of the Armor of God!
Preparing for Battle
Okay, maybe it's not polite to read other people's mail (even the fictional letter mentioned above). On the other hand, it is an excellent idea to remind ourselves- often!- that we are targets of a great plot. And the stakes are nothing less than our immortal souls!
We live in the middle of the greatest war of all times...Good vs. Evil. God the all-powerful Creator, on one side. Satan on the other side. And us in the middle...with an obligation to choose sides, and join in the battle.
However, God has not left us unprotected. He sent His Son to weight the balance in our favor. And He has given us powerful weapons to use everyday of our lives, to defeat the powers of darkness.
When we pray, "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one," you should immediately remember to "put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against he devil's schemes."That of course, means you are not only intimately acquainted with each piece of the armor described by Paul in Ephesians 6, but you understand what each piece represents:
"So stand strong, with the belt of truth tied around your waist. And on your chest wear protection of right living. And on your feet wear the Good News of peace to help you stand strong. And also use the shield of faith. With that you can stop all the burning arrows of the Evil One. Accept God's salvation to be your helmet. And take the sword of the Spirit -that is the teaching of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times. Pray with all kinds of prayers, and ask for everything you need. To do this you must be always ready. Never give up. Always pray for all God's people" (Eph. 6:14-18 ICB).
When we put on God's armor we are ready to face Evil...and win. We have God's word on it. Without God's full armor of protection from evil, "You are a Guaranteed Casualty" in the invisible war, but with God's armor you are "invincible."
In the context of spiritual warfare, we must neither overestimate nor underestimate the power and province of our adversary. No doubt to his delight, we often depict the Devil as the author of darkness in much the same way that God is described as the Author of Light. That, however, is far from true. God is the sovereign Author of all creation; Satan is but an angel that He has created. Satan is not the opposite of the Creator. Rather, as a fallen angel, he is the counterpart to the archangel Michael.
While it is fashionable to credit the Devil with every temptation we face, we must be ever mindful that spiritual warfare involves the world and the flesh as well. As Jesus makes clear in the parable of the Sower, we are often fruitless because of "the worries of this life, and the deceitfulness of wealth" (Matt. 13:22).
Just as we should never overestimate the Devil, we would also err greatly in underestimating his cunning craftiness. He is a malevolent being, the vastness of whose intellect exceeds that of any human who has ever lived from Solomon to Socrates.
