Problem children of God

I don’t know if this is a case of cause and effect, or one of mere correlation or even coincidence, but I have noticed that the people here with the most fervent religious views, the ones who take it too far, are also among the most unpleasant, vindictive and malicious people here. Is their extreme religiosity a screen, behind which they can hide their obnoxious characters, I wonder. hmmm

Hide it from themselves as much as from others?

The Soul forgets NOTHING.....

God always listens to us when we pray. The scriptures show countless examples of prayers God has heard and answered. He continues to answer prayers today. Through the power of prayer, you can get answers to your questions and receive the blessings God has in store for you.
God also told in Gita that he shall rescue or help people as they pray him....
Human being is combination of Soul, Mind, Brain and body. Brain is very important and necessary physical device for man to control body and manipulate and dealing with physical world. For survival of humans brain plays very important role. Mind stands between soul and brain. Mind is an entity with intimate relation with soul and brain, Like a bridge mind, as an expert, transfers inner data from psych to brain. Brain transforms it into the physical terms that man understands.Soul is individualized gestalt of pure conscious energy with pure and direct awareness. Wisdom, love, wrath and all pure emotions are its heritage. Individual consciousness or soul springs up from the Supreme consciousness to return back into it again as bubbles arise and fall into the ocean of water and fall back into it again to merge with it. Soul or consciousness has no beginning and no ending. It exists eternally independent of time, space and matter. Soul or consciousness is becoming in each moment. It has tendency to manifest itself into individualized physical shape. Soul is not a complete or finished entity. Soul takes csmoflaged physical form or manifestation to see itself. Eventually even a slightest move or action that happens in physical world occurs first in psych before it happens in the world of matter and then becomes physical experience

The soul is made up of three parts: Spirit, Mind and Free Will. Spirit can be defined as that part of us that comes from God....

Nihilism: What is it like to believe in Nothing?

It's probably no secret to many here, that I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Atheist, AND proud of it!

But, you see, Atheism, believes in something; and that "something" is that there is NO God, - or Indeed Gods. (Haven't seen any evidence for it so far), Yet ...I'm happy and serene, in this belief, and have been since I was about 7 or 8 years old (Yes, they raise some pretty good, and decent, Heathens, here in Australia).

Others; however, wish to take their "Beliefs" even a step further, again...This is Nihilism.

If you are not familiar with this Philosophy (and are interested in learning about it); then please watch the video link (below)......(approximately 15 mins)

I'm just putting this up, for the interest, of people, here

I have disabled the comments, not because I don't want to chat with you all; but because there are enough "God / anti-God" type blogs floating around here already....

The Parable of the Potter and the Clay:

One day, a potter went and took a handful of clay to shape it. However, as the potter lifted the clay, it cried and screamed as loudly as it could, not wanting to be separated from its family, its brothers, and its sisters. The potter, however, did not pay it any mind and took it to the room where he worked. He placed it on a table and began to wet it with water. Then the clay started to cry again, "Do not wet me anymore, can't you see that you're making me soggy? Stop, please!" Once again, the potter ignored it and started to knead it. The clay cried and pleaded, "It hurts, you're hurting me, stop!"

The potter then put the clay on a wheel and began to spin it and shape it. Again, the clay cried out as loudly as it could, "Please finish, I'm starting to get dizzy and it hurts. Stop shaping me, please, let me be!" Our character kept on spinning and shaping it. After a while, the potter paused for a few moments. But just when the piece of clay thought everything was done, the potter placed it into a heated oven. The piece of clay began to scream as loudly as it could, "Take me out, it's burning, I can't bear this heat anymore! It's too much. Let me out, please! I want to go back to my family. I promise I'll behave."

After some time, the potter took it out of the oven and let it cool down. Then, he began to sprinkle it with a colored and fragrant substance. Once again, the clay started to cry out, "What are you doing? Leave me, I don't want this, I don't like this smell. You're making me dirty." Some time later, the potter placed the piece of clay on a shelf next to a mirror. When it looked into the mirror, the piece of clay had now transformed into a beautifully shaped vase, adorned with well-defined stripes and various colors.

God and destiny .

Im writing this blog to share my experience since there are people and their posts on God on this website . I thought it would be nice to share my ''experiences''.
As for my belief in God , it didn't come from any book of faith or any preacher . These things , freakish things happened to me . When i was about to be born there was complication , the doctor said she could only save the child or the mother , my dad said to save my mom but we both , me and my mother were saved .
When i was 5 i almost fell into man hole but got saved . When i was 8 i almost drowned when suddenly someone or something pulled me out but it wasn't some other person it was like this force pulled me up . One day when i was going to a job interview two rogue bikers were coming infront , one biker hit the other from the side and that other bike came straight to me , i thought that was it when suddenly that biker made a right turn and got the bike at time .
All these incidences maybe unbelievable , maybe coincidences infront of athiests . But even coincidences have a limit .
Its like im mean't to live . In my early life i didn't dream of any greatness . Only of graduating and becoming a boring accountant , the easy life , growing old ordinary then dying . But my teacher pushed me to dream big and now i do dream big . I feel like im more than just being an accountant .
I really can't explain this . But all of you who read my post whatever your opinion please do comment .

RELIGION. A WASTE OF TIME.

I think it's time that all religions were scrapped. People devote hours, days, weeks, months, years, lifetimes, to praying, church meetings, street canvasing, distributing leaflets, organising gatherings in each others houses. Trying to convert people to accepting mythological stories as the truth and scaring people in the process by concocting a hell for those who don't accept the preaching of obviously unintelligent beings.
The poor fools who succumb to the dogma dished out are then victims of the whole religious nonsense, and the cycle continues.
Religions should be categorised as dangerous and scrapped.
