I've heard people say, "How could I end up in hell if I don't believe it exists?" And honestly, I was surprised... in my mind, it was something like, "Seriously?! How foolish can one be to ask such a ridiculous question?" Hell and heaven don't exist based on what we believe or don't believe. How closed-minded must one be to think that if you choose not to believe in the existence of hell, it will cease to exist... what on earth?! Regardless of what we choose to believe or not, heaven and hell are and will always be just as real. You end up there based on how you've lived your life, on how many good or bad deeds you've done, on how pure or stained your soul is when you pass away, and on how kind or wicked you've been as a human being. Based on all these factors and more, God will decide where you belong. You won't just cease to exist if you didn't believe in God, heaven, or hell. I believe there are many who would wish it were that simple, and the thought serves as consolation for them. But it's not that simple at all. Wake up, good people! Think with the heads you have on your shoulders, not with someone else's. Don't adopt the foolish ideas of others and make them your own, because that won't do you any good, and there might come a day when you realize it's too late, and no matter how much you wish to change something, you won't be able to do a thing. Don't squander your soul just because someone told you it's okay. In the end, that someone won't be able to save your soul when it's too late. They won't even be able to save their own.

It's crap, there aren't even any car chases or hookers in any of the stories

Just an early Happy Easter greeting for everyone on here.

Yesterday night, my God mother who is a Florida resident, was experiencing the fears/concerns of most (if not all) others over Hurricane Ian. The anticipation of real damage, and even death, was palpable, but she was hopeful that things would be over by morning. All that I could do for her was to hope and pray, which I did.

Earlier this morning, I called (on Whatsapp). She/someone answered, but almost immediately there was a loss of audio and no communication could be had. I hung up and immediately felt wary, but still hoping and praying that she was ok. About 2 hours later I received a text message from her proclaiming "GM Thank God I had no damage all is well Thank you for your prayers". You could imagine my relief!

Was she lucky? No, she was blessed with yet another opportunity to continue in the land of the living and to sing God's praises for His protecting her (and many others), from yet another hurricane.

I pray that even though the hurricane has "whacked" Florida, there was no loss of life.

Kamakhya temple is one of the oldest Shakti peetha in India. It is situated on the Nilachal hill in Guwahati,Assam.

The story behind Kamakhya temple is quite interesting. It's about Hindu God Shiva and Sati.

Once Sati fraught with Shiva to attend her father's great Yagna,where they both were not invited purposefully. Sati went alone to the Yagna. There she was insulted by her father and also he spoke ill about Shiva. Unable to bear the insult Sati jumped in to the sacrificial fire of the Yagna. Shiva got to know about the incident,he couldn't control his anger. Carrying his wife's burnt corpse he went on a rampage with his dance of destruction. Which we all know as Tandav. All God and Goddess were in fear. They all went to Vishnu to get any help. Then Vishnu sent his Chakra and cut burnt body of Sati,in order to calm Shiva.

It's believed that Sati's body parts fell in 108 different places across India. Today they are known as Shakti peetha.

The place where her womb and va*ina fell,is what today's Kamakhya temple.

The Ambubachi Mela is an annual mela celebrated during assamese month Ahaar. It is the celebration of the yearly menstruation course of goddess Kamakhya. It is believed that during that time the water of Brahmaputra near the temple turns red. There is no idol of the deity inside the temple. But she is worshipped in the form of a YONI like stone instead over which a natural spring flows.

This is the story which I have heard from childhood. Apart from this, it's a very beautiful and peaceful place to visit.

On Saturday, March 19, 2022, I talked to my mother that the next day (Sunday) we should go to church in the morning (I haven't been for a while and a few days ago I thought that when they went to church, I I would like to go too). In general, I can't sleep too early in the evening, so I fall asleep later in the morning. I went to bed around 6 in the morning, and at 9:30 I had to wake up to go to church at 10:30. I woke up at 8 o'clock and for a few minutes I looked at my watch and then fell asleep instantly. I started dreaming at a time when somewhere in my mind, somewhere between dream and reality (I'm generally aware that I'm sleeping and dreaming) I heard a voice asking me "Did you get dressed? Is it time" I woke up and when I looked at the clock it was 9:35. I know that those who do not want to believe in God and things like that will find countless reasons not to believe and explain in every way that it was I don't know what coincidence or my subconscious or I don't know what else. That's not what I write for people like that. But for those who want to believe and for those who already believe. God exists and is with us every day, only we must want to see it. It's true that in recent years I've been through a lot of hardships and I'm still going through ... and up to this point even I had come to question the Existence of God and I was asking myself questions like "what kind of God would make one like that ... Why God did the other ... and so on "and maybe at times I thought maybe God had abandoned me but once again God showed me that He didn't give up on me. But I lost faith in Him. That is why I think that somehow it is much easier for us humans since the time of Jesus and even before Him to believe that God does not exist and we find it much easier to believe this than to accept His existence. It is a pity, what we become because of our day-to-day problems and what makes our lives become, we become what we should not be, and we become more and more distant from our Creator who loves us and is with us. by us in any situation.
