Contrary to Good Friday

In the bible, it is said that Jesus rose on the crack of dawn (or early) Sunday morning. That is when the women and then some of his followers when to the grave site and found it empty.

So a basic math that any child can do brings us to a different day for the death (crucifixion) of this amazing man.

Jesus and the texts say that he was to be in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights.

So lets count back,

Previous Saturday night - 1
Previous Saturday - 1
Previous Friday night - 2
Previous Friday - 2
Previous Thursday night - 3
Previous Thursday - 3

I don't think that my math is incorrect. Of course I am open to those who have a different calculation method that fits three days and three nights into Easter from Easter Friday to Easter Sunday....

This brings us to the ultimate conclusion that Easter is not the time or accurate reflection of this momentous event remembered by so many, and also loathed by so many.

It is, instead, the substitution and observance of the pagan festival still, with Christ slapped as a thin paint job over the top of it.

Happy holiday everyone.

The "defects" of Jesus (part 2)

Hi everyone!wave

Do you agree with me Jesus was the most weird character in the history of the world ever? If He's a normal person like all people, then I would not loving Him as I've done. And more again... that's...

Jesus didn't know how to do the math
In the parable of "The lost sheep" ( Matthew 18, 12-14; Luke 15, 4-7), we see the behavior of Jesus showed He did not know how to calculate. One who has 100 sheep in an open area, and then He lost one sheep. Can not understand how He calculated that 1 lost sheep that was worth more than 99 (?), because He has left 99 sheep to go looking for the lost one! 1 is bigger, 1 is be worth more than 99? Not true! It seems that Jesus didn't know how to do the math!confused grin wave

Where are the Protests and Riots for these Supernatural Changes

It has always been "The Lion Shall lay down with the Lamb"...

Yet supernaturally changed. The Lion is now replaced with "Wolf"!

Old news for some, New news for others!

Yet old or new where is the upheaval in all Christian communities alike. And even supernatural changes in a plethora of many other subjects as well. Where are the marches from we The People declaring our demands for answers from those whom make up our governments? Or are we as a people so brainwashed and indoctrinated through subliminal messaging through controlled media that its now: We The Sheeple!

This is Halloween. This is Halloween.

It was in the eighth century that the Church appointed a special date for the feast of All Saints, followed by a day in honor of her soon-to-be saints, the feast of All Souls.

She chose this time of year, it is supposed, because in her part of the world it was the time of barrenness on the earth. The harvest was in, the summer done, the world brown and drab and mindful of death. Snow had not yet descended to comfort and hide the bony trees or blackened fields; so with little effort man could look about and see a meditation on death and life hereafter.

Apparently how you spent the vigil of All Saints depended on where you lived in Christendom. In Brittany the night was solemn and without a trace of merriment. On their "night of the dead" and for forty-eight hours thereafter, the Bretons believed the poor souls were liberated from Purgatory and were free to visit their old homes. The vigil for the souls, as well as the saints, had to be kept on this night because of course the two days were consecutive feasts and a vigil is never kept on a feast.

Breton families prayed by their beloveds' graves during the day, attended church for "black vespers" in the evening and in some parishes proceeded thence to the charnel house in the cemetery to pray by the bones of those not yet buried or for whom no room could be found in the cemetery. Here they sang hymns to call on all Christians to pray for the dead and, speaking for the dead, they asked prayers and more prayers.

Finding Peace in one's space, and with others.

Some people believe that living alone is unhealthy. But ‘living alone’ and ‘being lonely’ are two different things, and the former state is very healthy. Living alone can help to bring about inner peace and contentment, whilst the latter can cause great unease and even depression.

Being at peace with God involves an intimacy that I believe can only come in the midst of physical and mental quiet. It has been my personal experience that living alone facilitates a greater connection with God, a clearer vision of His Greatness, and a better understanding of the extent of His Love towards me. Being alone in the still quite moments of one’s day, can help one to better develop one’s spiritual bond with God, and eventually, with others.

When I am not alone, I have to struggle to control my thoughts because of the many distractions that either vie for my attention or the attention of the others who may be occupying the space with me. When I am not alone, I have to remember the needs of others, temper my moods, exercise tolerance and patience, avoid causing offense, listen to sounds that may be disturbing my physical and mental peace and be a ‘good Christian’. When I am not alone, it can be difficult to maintain a gentle and quite spirit.

All of that distracts me from just being at Peace with myself, my space and God.

If you live alone, but don't appreciate how blessed you are, so think again. If you do, then continue to enjoy. heart wings

MUHAMMAD & AISHA.

Aisha was the daughter of Abu-Bakr. She was 6years old when she married the prophet Muhammad. When she was 9years of age, he had intercourse with her.
This is an example in the Koran which other Muslims can use to legitimise such behaviour.
Is this child abuse or not?

What is Success really?

I wish I was rich and famous, I’ll take powerful too if I can get it,
And then I know I’ll be really happy, because then I will have
Everything I want, I’ll have all the richs and all the things and all
The respect that money and power brings, (look, I’m even rhyming
By accident) and when I die there will be a monument erected for
Me because I was loved so much! Right?.....WRONG!

Now I know there are rich and famous and powerful people who
May be happy because they got what they wanted, but I know that
Would not work for me, because while I WANT to be rich and famous
(Not too pushed on the powerful bit) should I ever get there I would
Consider myself a failure because I would not be happy and would
have wasted my time in this experience,
Success for me will be measured not in what I have, but in what I have
Not, and the only way to achieve real success in this experience in my opinion
is to not focus on what you want, but to do the simplest and yet the hardest
Thing, find within yourself your hearts true desire and follow that desire
To the end.
I know I have said the obvious but sometimes you can’t see the wood
For the trees, and there's no harm in reminding ourselves every so often.

The main character of The Bible

I believe the good book is good.

So, if the good book is telling us accounts of times past, and is believed by very many to be true, isn't it time to stop for a second and ask yourself something?

Who...or perhaps even...what, is Jesus?

Somebody who can walk on water.
Somebody who can make the cripple walk again.
Somebody who can make the blind see.

Are these just metaphors? Or, are these real physical acts he performed?

Or perhaps, mistranslations?

If they are real physical acts he performed...as many truly believe. I am not aware of any such human that can perform these feats. Was Jesus human then?

dunno

“There are only two ways to live your life. ...

Albert Einstein > Quotes
Intellectuals solve problems, geniuses prevent them.

The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.

Albert Einstein.

American psychologist Abraham Maslow says that there are seven levels of human need, namely, (1) food, water, (2) safety, (3) belongingness, love, (4) esteem, (5) curiosity, (6) beauty, symmetry, and (7) self-actualization. Only after man’s lower level of needs have been satisfied, will he recognize the need at the next higher level. Maslow believes that the highest desire of man is to “self-actualize”.

Carl Rogers theory...
Rogers believed that all people possess an inherent need to grow and achieve their potential. This need to achieve self-actualization, he believed, was one of the primary motives driving behavior.

Jung analytical theory...
Abstract. Jungian analytical psychology is an approach that looks at the total person—mind, body, and soul. The approach links the conscious and unconscious aspects of the individual in a search for life's meaning in a personal way, which also takes into account collective influences.

my question is....
Does anybody desire his or her own birth?

You are born in a particular home, you are born as a human being, the color of your eyes, the situations of your birth, everything that goes around you in the universe,
is, external situations. And that external includes the body, because the body too is external to you. You are your center, your body is an external entity. So whatever happens here or there, it’s all just incidental. Accidental, and hence destiny. At the center resides the great power of intelligence, and that power is far bigger than the power of destiny.

Isn’t the script already ready for you? Tell me. Is a script not ready for you? How does it feel to live a life as if the chapters of the script are opening, and you are just acting as per the script? It has been pre-decided. It was already certain what you will do class Tenth, class Twelfth, then aB.A., Bcom or B. Tech., then maybe M.B.A., M.S. or job. And then marriage, then kids, then a house, then some money in your bank account, then certain responsibilities of your parents and kids, and then death. Finished.

Prayer

"The Prayer" Beinsa Douno

"Many people ask if it is possible to live without praying. It is not. The prayer is an internal human necessity.
If the prayer becomes an internal necessity for you, you will pray naturally, without any force, without an external force. For you the prayer is as natural as feeding, breathing, feeling and thinking are.

Why should we pray? Paul the Apostle said once, “Be consistent in praying”, and Jesus said, “Be alert and pray”. The prayer is of threefold nature. It is equal to breathing. One should pray so that the soul to breathe and perceive things. The prayer is needful for the soul. It is the contemplation of the highest feelings. Through the prayer we see that a child is praying. It is an appeal and is as needful for the soul as breathing is. Humans need air much more than food. It is proven that a human may stay without air for 25 minutes at most and if we equalize the air with the prayer, which is food for the soul, we see that it is of great significance to it.

If people of today did not know how to pray, they would have lost even the little that they have preserved today. Everything good, everything great and beautiful, which is persevered by them, is thanks to the praying spirit that works in their souls. So, thanks to the prayer, though not so correct as it is in modern humanity, still something beautiful has remained and something new is being acquired. Thanks to the prayer, we become conduits of the sublime powers and noble means, on which the entire human race rests. The soul needs an internal spiritual food that can be provided only through a prayer. If one stops praying, life disappears. The prayer is a great thing. It is not expressed by chattering, by whispering of words. When you learn to pray, your life will become worth living.

The reason for our misfortunes is that we do not pray. Our contact with God brings inexhaustible riches. The Divine blessing and strengthening of the spirit come through it.

I would like you to pray constantly for you to be in contact with God. Only in this way, that influence from above will come to you. Then you will feel that Divine ennoblement and strengthening. Only when one prays, his body strengthens, as well as his feelings and his thoughts. One, who prays, cannot have a cruel heart. He can be delicate by structure, but his body is healthy, his thoughts are stable and his feelings - strong. It is not possible us to be in communion with God and be feeble.

If one’s prayer is pure, deep, it is always accepted. God does not make difference between souls. Jesus said to his disciples, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Knowing that the Spirit of Jesus lives forever and has power and authority, do not be discouraged! You can always call upon Him and receive His help. Everyone has the power of Jesus in him. One just has to work on himself to develop that power. Once people develop that power in themselves, they will know what God is, what the Divine principle in humans is.

There is nothing, about which man has asked God and which hasn’t been fulfilled. And it happens just when it is needed.

One has to be bearer of Divine thoughts, must be convinced that every thought that he sends in the world is Divine and he must not think about the consequences. One must study the Word and practice praying and contemplation simultaneously. This is the path and one should not worry. Open your heart and soul. The light will penetrate there and the comprehension will come."

When people don't pray and awake Divine will, they shouldn't blame God for worldly events, wars, massacres , etc.nothing to do with God , also not a proof that God doesn't exist
