Just thinking about my day....nothing too much... :))
Revised version of a poem I wrote last year; much longer than what is allowed in here... Sometimes Life has plans different from the ones we have...
The most surreal images of a late winter day sitting by a shoreline.
A sonnet with reflections about a sudden spring shower while out working in the fields of my New England farm.

(haiku) The above stated may seem simplistic but it is not. Zen is a way of seeing. The things of everyday life remain the same. It is one's way of seeing that changes. The change may require years to take place. True spiritual practice is not founded on attainment or on the miraculous, but on seeing life itself as a true miracle. In the words of a Zen master, My magical power and miraculous gift: Drawing water and chopping wood.

challenge for today....
Winter survival
Inspired by hatching mayflies, when emerging from water have no mouth parts for which to feed, but only a few days to live with only one purpose left to perform .....to mate on wings
Once while I as wlking in a garden, this poem struck me.I observed Nature at its best and this inspired me to write this poem.
My poem is about my time of year. My favorite to be exact. I felt so alive writing it as I could feel the time around me before it has arrived.
Studies have shown, different strains of virus an flu bugs are being released from the rainforest daily as they decimate hectare by hectare. Fyi.
