So many days have come and gone, still no word from him.. She wrapped her pink blanket tightly around her and rocked back and forth 'Where is he, she sobbed?'I need him so much.' She had marked X's on her calendar for all those lost and lone
Childhood memories, memories of my two brothers Michael and Thomas RIP, Love you always,
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all CS folks! Please remember the Children!
This is a song about my early years in Catholic Ireland and how my adapted brother and I longed to escape that claustrophic athosphere.
As a child I looked for Jack Frost with my parents so this is in Christmas remembrance.
Is it just me or have kids stopped playing outside. I still play my video games, Im just saying autonomy is a forgotten language and I think children are missing an important part of their life. I digress the bottom picture is a scene from the movie Stand By Me, the best example i could think of that reminded me of our adventures The first comment says maybe parents are to blame and yes I agree with that too, I believe any responsible parent would set restrictions , limits, play times, study times, and so forth
sorry not great but my first ever effort lot of truth in there
Some childhood memories. Don't try any of this at home.
thanks guys!!!
This poem is about s*xual abuse in childhood years, those who are affected by such an appalling crime are isolated with undying shame, albeit a non willing participant. The adult world passes impotently by thus amplifying the degradation and shame, the victims more often than not, are unable to unravel in simple terms, yet illustrate quite clearly by behavioral traits, which compounds the evil that in general remains for the rest of their days. This poem is the tormented emotion, details if you wish, imagine for yourselves if you dare.
this was Inspired by a Irish lass thank you

switched into the voiceless, helpless abyss Is there no one to talk to out here? can anyone here my frustration at this? I know I am "very important to us" but can we talk...like "h.e.l.l.o." "how are things going today?...want come coffee?"

He balances himself on that narrow limb as the creek rushes beneath his feet He's a warrior in this mighty jungle and who knows what foes he'll meet He steps lightly among the rocks and trees his slingshot ever to the ready With X-Ray vision
Lets kick out these world leaders and nominate children to rule the world. 2015.
remembering my grandmother's kitchen when I was a child
those beautiful shells. Soph xx
I was a school bus driver for 5 years. But this poem is not so much about my school bus kids as it is about me and the way I was in school. But I had a few kids that might pretty much fit this description. That's why I could relate to them so well. lol.
Domestic violence awareness week
No means no right? Two of my favorite scenes Or Its just a thought, nothing unusual about the innuendoes in the cartoons. Nor do I really think it reflects anything any more then Archie Bunker. It is what it is just thought it would be fun to write about or maybe I just think too much
It's another gloomy, rainy day in Oregon.... maybe it's detected in the piece I've composed?
This is one of my fondest memories as a little boy, in my fourth year, totally naked head to toe..........
Saw my sons facebook page status update this morning..... I tried to be a good mom.. I got away from the abuse I thought in time.. I just screwed up both our lives. God I love him.. Im trying to think and come up with solutions.. I have none.

A little nostalgia in memory and and respect of my long departed Grandmother who taught me many things at a very early age about life. Happy Easter Gram !!! I sure do wish I could find somebody like you again to make me smile. You were the kindest and greatest woman I've ever known.
And goodbye to the old days.
Memories of Childhood
Some words let you in. Some words shut you out. Others build an icy wall between, frozen block upon frozen block— not unkind, simply formidable— to dismiss the connection. Ah, but no words— therein lies the dagger!
The trust that comes from a child, nothing purer or sweeter. My second meeting with the child I'm working with. I have not done much but the school director noticed the changes in the boy already. Just proves how amazing love, faith, compassion, patience, trust, respect and a lot of encouragement given to any child as a whole is able to transform even those labelled by mainstream institutions.
So this just sprung from my mind so it's abit all over the place :/
What I went through in foster homes. This is the reason I can write the kinds of poems I do. Many people have been through much worse but I pray my experiences can encourage others. Cafe
On Face Book I saw a photo of a huge ship travelling along the Thames.....everything changes...or does it.
I have these bad memories flying in and out my mind from time to time. They just do not want to go away but settle in and stay. I can not let them be here no more or there will be severe depression in store for me as i can not handl
In the still kiss of dawn Madonna moon murmurs goodbye to a favorite child. She fades from a place where birds, who once slipped through small hands, sing of freedom in a fair, gold sky. I stand on the edge of morning scattering my dream
A child.... separation of parents, the more I thought about it the more it evoked ire in me.... It just sort of jumped out at me... this one for the children and yet, so inadequate...
To see the world through a child's eyes Colour ricochets with feelings of wonder Time endless days are weeks Innocence a gift in youth Sheer joy free a feeling of bliss A child's mind spirit and soul Capable of rational taken by age Exci
What if?

I saw an ad by Sense which so moved me, they were asking for a one off £3 payment to buy sensory toys, I donated this poem to them to use in any way they felt fit to promote these children and their needs.
