I whisper into the silence to see if anyone is there While the moon casts a calm reflection I wonder what I will hear The voices of tim
2/18/2020: Beware! There is a troll loose in the the CS poetry section. Reading all the guys profiles, it seems like that they all want a wonder woman who likes to do all the things they like to do (guy things)and she needs to look like a supermodel to boot. Oh well - I must admit we women too fantasize on our perfect man - but if the chemistry is there - I believe the chemistry is what makes the person perfect in OUR eyes. However, people can be false and leer you in with that chemistry and you don't realize it until it's too late.

I truly wish each and every one of you blessings this holiday season. Please forgive the modern spelling of 'Savior' over the probably much preferred traditional spelling 'Saviour'....
My Dearest Father in Heaven; I know it's not my right tonight to inquire of Your position... Curiosity, has obviously, gotten the best of me... I will not try to justify this unjust inquisition... Why must there be, for all to see, such harsh

My soul belongs to the Stars and Heavens It is captured inside this earthly abode It struggles like a bird to be free So that it can fly carefree to its star home Not meant to be weighed down here It strives to be happy and carefree Needing t

This week I came to a screeching halt with a torn cartilage in my right knee. He sent my church family to help me out so very much. Not sure how long will be laid up but I know I am loved by him - my brothers and my church brothers and sisters.

“Strange, is it not? that of the myriads who Before us pass'd the door of Darkness through, Not one returns to tell us of the Road, Which to discover we must travel too.” (Omar Khayyam – The Rubaiyat, verse 46) Omar Khayyam was a Persian mathematician, astronomer, and poet. He was born on May 18, 1048 and died on December 4, 1131. The verse of his poem quoted was written more than nine centuries ago. The message of his poem still holds today. My poem, “The Other Side”, is in line with the quoted verse from Khayyam's poem and is not meant to disparage the religious beliefs of anyone.
This poem is about parking the cross for a while to dream a little, before flight.... either that or its about being tired of one's luck. Each carrier to their own take

I heard the song and I could not help but be reminded of the time I had my son. His father left us, neither he or I knew I was pregnant. He also left to me another child he had with another woman. While my son was growing up, someone told him he's an unwanted child hence one day he came to ask me. With the help of my parents we brought them up, both my son and his half-brother turned out to be a couple of fine young men. There is a God out there to keep you strong when you've exhausted all options and you feel all alone or think you have nowhere else to go or no one to turn to!
