RE: My blog door is always open

I'll take a vowel Harb

Traditions

I like not having a tradition so I can do anyone's tradition. I'm only doing my Mom's traditional food because she just can't do it with Dad away.

Now I will go watch Mics video.

RE: Chinese Buffet...

I love Chinese Buffet.

RE: Blondie

Such a cutie. Is that tongue always out like that or did you just capture a moment?

RE: My blog door is always open

Well HOWDY!

So who is the special guest?

At least you got me you lucky devil.

RE: That's NOT my house SMELL...

At least you can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. That was quite nice of you Uncle Chat. Good luck with the garage sale, I've made lots of money on junk.

RE: A BIG Christmas Disappointment.

Ummmm I would take the purple one for a spin.

Merry Christmas Jim - mine was blessed with a big delicious family gathering, probably a last with the folks but they sure were happy as we all were.

This will be my first year starting a New Year in retirement instead of aTax Season.

RE: What's the difference.

We interrupt this program to do.....wait for it,,,,,

a drive by hugging while whistling Merry Christmas -

back to your regularly scheduled flirting

RE: BLUE___WHITE Christmas

Spending Xmas day with big family gathering, taken Dad out the home but have to have him back to the facility by 5. Spent the whole day cooking and tonight I'll have the little dog for company and relaxation on a Day well done. All prepped for tomorrow and the house smells heavenly.

Merry Christmas

RE: MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM CHINA!

I Love all things China.

RE: She said I was smug...

I get a kick that your marriage bugs some people. I've enjoyed knowing you since you were single, the courtship then the marriage. I still enjoy you.

RE: I'm Mrs Scrooge

I'm your sister wife then Mrs Scrooge with same sentiments and actions.

RE: Going to California...

My granddiva first moved to Santa Monica CA because of her man's job, then he took a promotion in San Diego so now she moved there. She landed a titled position at a resort and has been happiest ever. She did make her man buy her a hairless cat that she wanted for upping her life twice now. She is going to love that cat more than him!

Where in CA did they go? ps - I loved living in CA when I was young

RE: The alleged dryer...

Walking down the beach I remember seeing rows of houses with walls missing after a hurricane. Seeing into empty homes just give one the willies.

RE: Close shave...

I remember my son-in-law used his elec razor every time he was driving somewhere. He swore you could see his whiskers grow so he shaved several times a day for the professional look.

The ginger I was married to only had to shave one a week, maybe once every couple of weeks, his hair did not want to grow on his face.

I seem to remember men got mad if I used their razors. pfft

RE: Buying a computer

I think the first question is What do you need the PC to do?

Then be prepared for sales people try to oversell you on how much more they want you to need.

RE: CS hall of fame

There is no trophy being on a list for this site but conga rats to those that made it. I don't even know where the list is.

nor care actually

RE: I've fallen and I can't get up!

I'm sure there is an app for that Nice2

My neighbor and I've joked about getting a baby monitor for each of our houses. Living in a "mature" adult neighborhood certainly provides the opportunity to come across a fallen one.

Surprisingly many elders do not want to admit they are old enough to need a life alert.

Opening Your Eyes

Well played.

Opening Your Eyes

He made it right and refunded me and will come get the TV at his convenience. Had the TV worked right that would have been a great buy but alas it was not meant to be. A sale will fall in my lap after Xmas.

Lunch was good food and laughter.

RE: Just me.

I'm sure everyone loved it. The first homemade cake I tried on my own had the same problems, I iced it to soon and it slid right off. My Dad called it the earthquake cake. It did have a little earthquake crack on the top. (icing covered it well)

RE: Gone but not forgotten

Maybe she will come back but hopefully she is happier by not being here at least I hope so. I would be happier if she comes back as she is a breath of fresh air with all the gloating or hating news.

Opening Your Eyes

Thanks everyone, I loved the responses but since I'm checking in so late I'm too tired to think. I will try to remember to revisit tomorrow.

Thanks again.

RE: Marty Cohen...

I had to take a minute to figure it out then smack the top of my forehead, "should have known"

laugh

RE: I wish you a merry Christmas.

Merry Xmas from the warm tropics of Florida

RE: Washday Blues

You could probably save yourself some grief and just buy 7 white buttons or an old shirt with 7 white buttons, don't you think?

RE: why people never meet on connecting singles

I've finally met someone locally from CS.

RE: It's Friday...

At least painting your house is a tax deduction.

RE: I Will Shoot Those Dogs..

Good story. I haven't read the blog you spoke of yet but I loved your story. Happy ending.

Lucy's New Life

I think that is a grand idea, let's see if the dog gets a summons, if not I'm sure Suzanne won't take her.

I have to not think about this until the end of Jan by which time I pray it dissipates. Too much drama for this old soul. I can't imagine having to be a judge, that has to be tough to make decisions especially on "he said, she said" dramas.
