Off the top of my head I'm thinking most of my impulsive buys have been some sort of kitchen gadget. Most have not been worth it but every now and then I get one I can't live without.
Thank you Star, I love my purple (wine colored) streak too. Not too fond of my funky colored roots right now but going to change the color in the morning AGAIN, ugh.
I believe Tryptophan is what is in Turkey that causes one to be sleepy after eating a turkey dinner. I didn't even know I could by it as a suppliment. Thank you.
I deal with failures as a stepping stone to my goals. What I need is goals! For me to be successful at reaching my ultimate goal is to make little goals along the way as stepping stones.
I'm failing at having rainbow colored hair. My first attempt I had to go around with a pink scalp when I tried to have my grey roots colored purple. Grey resisted and turned pink. So last weekend I tried red, grey resisted again and now I have a funky copper sort of color. This coming weekend I'm not sure what I will try, but I have a feeling my experiment in rainbow colored hair is going to be a failure, next step a rainbow colored wig and take my hair back to brunette with purple highlights. ugh
Retirement was another goal I've worked long and hard for, almost there, so close I can taste it, now time for new goals.
I too mentioned Melatonin in the blog, sigh it doesn't help me fall asleep though, it does however help keep me asleep once I fall asleep. Falling asleep the first time isn't all that hard, it's the wake up to have to run and powder my nose that I have a hard time falling back asleep.
I've only slept a few hours and my body thinks it is time to get up.
I haven't let my heart get involved in anything for the last decade, so no heartbreak. Lots of disappointments threw up the red flags soon enough for me to back out.
I'm so sorry though, I don't think age has anything to do with how much it hurts.
Thank you everyone. I didn't know I was supposed to comment? Being a noob and all, I've just been lurking. Been reading other blogs and it's hard to jump in when it sounds like friends going back and forth in funny ways, I've been enjoying blog land.
I'm a little shy at first I guess but I wouldn't consider myself overall shy. Well heck maybe I am.
