RE: Biker

I think this post is a great representation of our media now a days (maybe always) no matter what side they are portraying it is most likely fake. The sad part is all the sheeple that believe it no matter where the heard or read about it.

RE: Spoilers don't actually spoil anything - look into the future -

Very interesting question with me having no clue but I'm guessing I would pick looking at 10 years down the road hoping I don't live in FL anymore and certainly not on CS or you would have to email me your gun.

RE: Even The Rich And Talented....Are Human

Oh thank you for this news. Alexa is now playing some new songs for me that I haven't heard in a long time.

Have I mentioned how much I love Alexa and having any music I desire at my finger tips.

RE: Breaking up

I know this is a hard time for you Lindsey, but follow your heart. This is one reason I like the blogs for the theraputic value, you get so many opinions to think about. Just look deep inside yourself, meditate and listen to soothing music - your guide will be able to guide you then.

I wish the best for you.

RE: Worst India flood storms in over century kill several hundred people and leave over 800,000 homeless

How awfully sad. Every time I turn around I'm hearing horrid news, California, Canada, Greece on FIRE, volcanoes, this flooding (why doesn't the planet coordinate with itself and put out it's own fires?)

RE: StreetWalkin': Playing for Notes

What an enjoyable blog, I kept saying, "oh that's my favorite one" then the next picture "oh that's my favorite one" then the next picture and I would say that again.

I also pick the piano player for your street contest.

RE: For your entertainment - holy smoke !

*her

We had knuckle beaters.

RE: For your entertainment - holy smoke !

She is a fun Nun!

They didn't have them like here when I started school, may have stayed Catholic if they did but I quit as soon as I reached the age of recognition.

RE: EGGSPERT...

Oh I vote for you to treat your wife, what a loving gesture!

Daddy used to own an egg company when I was a litlle girl. I so remember him cracking an egg with one hand all the time. I tried often but never was able to. We candled eggs, I could do two at a time and rotate the eggs in my hand but Daddy could rotate three eggs at a time. Lord I forgot those memories.

If the do have that brunch, tell us how yummy it was.

RE: WHAT IS YOUR BEST RECIPE IN YOUR STATE?

I'm trying so hard to grow an avacado see into a tree. Big failure so far but I'm going to keep trying until I find one to buy.

RE: what color.....

Last month it was a pale orange, this month it is a pale pink.

Blue next time.

Silver Sneakers & a beautiful Palm

Thank you Biff for explaining to Mercedes for me.

Chat I have no clue as I just learned about Silver Sneakers yesterday. I'm guessing their insurance company?

RE: Can't Roller Skate in a Buffalo Herd

Amazing pictures my dear as well as the commentary. You really make me miss the northwest so much.

I can't even imagine doing the 45 miles. So how sore were your legs afterwards? You must have burned thousands and thousands of calories.

Silver Sneakers & a beautiful Palm

Chat if you ever were to be interested you could google it too.

Thanks Jim I will watch that when I get more time.

Glad you like it Ellie, I wish I heard of it sooner.

I totally undertand IMP - and no I did not have my phone with me but you can bet I'm taking it next time. My experience is when I was married to a photographer, even when I was using his best equipment, I cannot take a good picture. I had a better eye than him what to photograph, he could take an amazing picture but not me. My brain just doesn't engage in understanding the camera. If a good picture comes out, it is purely by accident.

Silver Sneakers & a beautiful Palm

Hi Mercedes
If you are still in the working world that is probably cheap to you or me, however many seniors have very little income so $62 a month would be too much for them, hence why I'm so happy they have an option. I'm happy you can afford it though too.

RE: She loves long moonlit walks along the ocean...

I'm certainly in beach country, now more so than when I lived in Orlando near Mickey Mouse.

RE: To the owners of this site: I am most grateful

Well I'm not a trump lover but I am thankful to the site owners for the way they moderate this site and provide it to us for free. It sure is a much improved site over Matchdoctor where I was a member for years and I haven't nor will I try the site that you are sent to when you type matchdoctor.com....I think it is friend finders or something.

Anyways, a big kudos to the owners & mods on CS.

Nice blog LJ

RE: WHAT IS YOUR BEST RECIPE IN YOUR STATE?

I've never even heard of glissants but I would try those in a heartbeat. Actually there are a lot of foods I haven't heard of on this wonderful blog. I'm not to shy with foods and will try most anything, I just need to be exposed to more dishes.

RE: WHAT IS YOUR BEST RECIPE IN YOUR STATE?

Oh Bear that looks yummy. My son's favorite dish is chicken and dumplings but I've never been a dumpling maker.

RE: WHAT IS YOUR BEST RECIPE IN YOUR STATE?

I think the Cuban sandwich made the State of FL meal, it is delish. Another is Chicken and Yellow Rice but one of my favorites is Cuban Pork Roast (in Mojo)

My favorite thing to cook is spaghetti sauce from fresh tomatoes.

RE: The art of hand pulled noodles...

Oh Chat I love Sweet Tomatoes - I just took my folks there the other day. I did not know the noodles were hand cut so now I have to go back and try some of that Chicken Soup.

Lately I've been on a Pho kick. Can't get me enough of that Pho.

RE: She loves long moonlit walks along the ocean...

A romantic walk on the beach with someone you love is romantic, with a first date, not so much. I too have noticed that men love to walk on the beach that do not live on coastal areas.

RE: Zucchini, Biking, and More Zucchini!

No matter how much I love something after eating it three nights in a row - I lose my taste for it awhile. It would be time to freeze some. Zucchini in the fridge doesn't last very long either. I love it raw in salads too. If I get a plant to produce I'm going to pick them itty bitty baby zuchini's to cook up so tender.

RE: The art of hand pulled noodles...

My preferred starch is pasta over potatoes or rice although I've never tried to make it myself and if I did I would still use a pasta machine or some sort.

The video impressed me, I love soba and now I will appreciate it a bit more remembering how it is made fresh. My daughter in law makes her own dumplings from flour. I hardly ever mess with flour myself.

RE: Zucchini, Biking, and More Zucchini!

Do you have the ability to save your pictures to the cloud. Never heard of anyone losing anything that is saved to the cloud. The only problem is remembering to save them there.

I know the grated zucchini will freeze well for baking but not sure if it will for Zoodles please let me know. Don't forget it is good in smoothies as well. I want to grow Zucchini too. I think I can start planting next month for a fall crop.

RE: Stuck!!

Be glad it was your back that itched and not your a**, can you imagine getting you finger stuck then.

RE: Well, here's something you don't see every day.

That's an excellent idea Grouchy! I like eating gator too.

RE: Smoking and its benefits

It just occurred to me it probably depends on what your smoking. If you smoke Corporate cigarettes, you are probably smoking poison, end of story. However if you grew your own tobacco and made your own cigarettes it might not be bad for you. Who knows.

I don't have any faith in big corporations.

RE: My blessing, today my daughter was flown in rom Frisco and will drive with me back to the West Coast

When I go to Cali I will be going to Santa Monica to see my youngest Granddiva who works one of the sweet resorts. I think that is probably more southern CA? To me northern CA was so much prettier than southern.

Nice Smelling Man

Lindsey I spent the last decade in an apartment and dearly loved the maintenance free life style, heck maintenance would change a light bulb it was wonderful. The trade off is I couldn't be noisy at certain times like when I wake up before God, in an apartment I had to be quiet, no problem but now I can get my chores done and have the day all to me. I can shower, do laundry or vacumn at 3am or whatever time my body pops up awake.

Onthecrest I did have a professional tell me what to do and send me a picture of what to buy, I took the pic to store and bought it. I'm still scared.

Robbie you brought a smile to my face

Rogue let those pheremones fly! I also love a fresh river smell, my dog likes the dead fish smell.
