I applause Phil's attitude as well but will admit his blog sounded to positive to be true so I am happy Edison pointed out the reality which is very much in line from what other truckers have shared with me in the US.
I wish you well. One other thing I would offer is to investigate the school for legitimacy as it is a very old story of schools teaching students who end up with not being able to get a job after spending all that money on the education.
Oh baby I love me my InstaPot Pressure Cooker or as you say PC - it took me awhile to figure that out. I started with a six quart and finally got a 3 qt too and some days have them both going at a time and I just cook for me and a 3 pound dog. That and the air fryer are my favorite little appliances I rarely touch the stove or oven.
Jim before you buy something just email me and ask. I don't remember all my failures but I sure do my successes which I'm much more apt to write about.
Jac I'm going to try and write the recipe to your blog if I can find it again. I pretty much go by taste as I go.
I'm gathering all my fall & holiay recipes and have already made a pumpkin pie cake experiment that went over very well. Going to Orlando for a week or so for Thanks giving with a trunk full of goodies that my son has loved all his life. His favorite is my sweet potato casserole with crunchy pecan coconut topping.
I also bought a sugar free pumpkin spice flavor for my coffee that I enjoy this time of year. I make a lot of pumpkin stuff for the little dog because it is so good for her and she loves it.
Cinnamon cooking just makes the house smell so good.
Today I tried a tik tok recipe. Peanut Butter, Brown Sugar, chocolate chips and an egg NO FLOUR and yet it made the best chocolate chip cookies I ever tasted. Wierd but I'm happy as hell.
Chat I used butter, no other oil as oil just didn't sound appetizing for this and I have lots of oils like truffle, EVOO, Avacodo, Sesami oil. Not for apples though. I soaked them in lime juice and used that juice to steam them a little first, then the butter, cinnamon & brown sugar.
Another plus to frying apples is now my house smells so lovely. I can't wait to tell my Mom this story.
I would be terrified to try and cook that eel but my D-i-L would jump on it and probably make it taste good. She has introduced me to more foods than I ever knew existed and if anything she eats has a seed she plants and grows it. Chinese don't waste anything. Lord I love her and most of her cooking even when I have no clue what I'm eating. She loves seafood the most which is actually my least favorite but I'm learning. I can't begin to tell you how much stuff I have bought in Asian markets that I have no clue what it is. I learned I do not like black rice or seaweed squares that are like paper thin. Probably because I don't know how to cook it. I have however tasted many fruits and veggies I didn't know anything about and yet found them to be delicious.
Lucky you. I just downloaded an app "Duolingo" and am trying to learn Chinese (I hope it is Mandarin)
We were sort of like a flash mob for Dad. Of all the diamonds and furs Dad has given Mom over the years on their anniversary, just the fact that they got to touch hands was actually her best gift ever. The nurse had tears in her eyes and did a huge NO NO by opening the door as we all left just so Mom and Dad could hold hands for a second. It was the best sight to behold. If he passes I hope that is the memory that lingers in my heart.
Sounds like you are going to be okay but sometimes those canes turn. I came here hoping you posted because I'm not watching any news. Had you not have posted I would have turned the news on.
I've never stayed in a public shelter either Chat, mostly because I've always had animals. I have however packed up my tribe, animals and all (except the horse) and outrun the hurricane. I've bounced between Tampa and Orlando to ride them out. A few times we ran into it.
The year of our 4 hurricane hit when Charlie was supposed to hit Tampa, we stayed in Orlando but Charlie came to us instead and turned our town upside down. I only lost a wooden fence but getting to my office was totally obstructed and no electricity for two weeks each for three of those hurricanes.
August & September has been our most notorious months. This is the price we pay so we get to live in paradise when winter ravishes the north. I'll take it.
RE: Darling, I Am Not Pregnant..!
Great news indeed to be negative. I hope your co-workers do well and survive. Anyone coming down with symptoms yet?
