Relationships can be hard work. Everything is always wonderful right in the beginning. My rule of thumb is to go through all four seasons with a person before I let my heart engage.
Not anymore but no matter what party I've gone to I've always had fun. I will come home loving everyone. Unless of course someone dies there, that's always a possibility in this neighborhood. Every month the newsletter announces the passing of one or two.....then we all look for estate sales.
Again Jim I stay away from making sweets because I can resist anything but temptation.
I did settle on an eastern pasta salad with blue cheese. It called for Feta but I happen to have blue cheese so blue cheese it is. Also I'm substituting the parsley with cilantro.
Oh my gosh I've never seen one like that and I shop International Markets. So I'm trying to grow the avocado seeds. I try, I fail and I keep on trying.
Oh honey I don't need to search for spaghetti sauce recipes - I've been making my own for a few decades now. It can knock socks off. Thanks for the info, I did see someone grow them on you tube. I've never planted a trellis before.
I got a text the next morning from him saying they are splitting up, he can't deal with it. My heart went into a frantic spin as I struggled to think of something logical to say. I actually would have liked to reach through the phone and knock his noggin off.
Finally he says just kidding they made up and he apologized for getting so angry. Well now that she realizes he hates her with a shaved head, what a bargaining chip to keep him on the straight and narrow. My Dad was the same way. I knew when I saw Mom with a short haircut, she was mad at Dad.
Thank you Jegas. My ex was much like you when we had a garden, it wasn't his thing but he loved my enthusiasm especially at the dinner table when the garden paid off. Trying to do it all by myself at my age is a lot more challenging.
Thanks for reviving this blog, I am not going to give up yet. If I can figure out when the right planting season is I will give it another go. Oh lord I want to grow tomatoes and keep working on my killer tomato sauces, nothing like a sauce made from a fresh tomato.
I hope my son gets over his anger and they both work it out. However I think she now has a great bargaining tool moving forward if she doesn't want him doing something unhealthy all she has to do is threaten to shave.
I would love to see a fox instead of an alligator.
I'm one that would say the job comes first but it is a shame to miss your trip, however you can always go another time. Good luck on your new job, I hope you like it.
I was wondering why you would pick a city you have never been to. When I was an accountant I would write off the trips of the Authors writing stores, they would go to the locations to research before they wrote.
When I was young I lost a son to crib death, within two years my bio mother was shot dead by an ex who killed himself too, then within a year I became widowed on Xmas Eve. That was my breaking point. I've never come close to it since. But I became a bad girl for awhile, it was sort of fun at the time.
I love to make spaghetti sauce with fresh tomatoes but it takes a lot and I didn't get to grow as many as I wanted. I did make a little sauce yesterday with some Campari tomatoes, oh my gosh it came out soooo good. Then I made eggplant lasagna with the sauce. I was pleased.l

Say that in a picture.
