zmountain, yes, I need cupcakes, but as I said, I can't get a bite I agree we need to keep to the rules , though a lively blog can be fun...falsifying identity, copyright infringement, treating others unkindly, and so on...these are rightly banned behaviors on CS.
Socrates, thanks! Did you choose that screen name to show your philsophical bent? I always look at the title of your blog/topic...you are one of the thoughtful thinkers here...I wonder if you get a bit of a headache
Ken, I like your comments...you have interesting things to say/contribute. Contrary to the Dumbo stereotype, elephants are smart animals...and you strike me as a bit of a brain! Keep the $10 bills coming...
itchy, I don't have a crush on anyone, I was just imagining myself in another viewpoint sadly my crushes are few and far between, and usually leave me crushed. lol.
Thanks, peeps I had fun writing it. I know I overdid the emoticons...originally I wanted it be about why we should get some new emoticons, expand the library, because using them is such fun!
GG, well I did mention the and . (Though AngelPep has a bit of pepper, lol.) Couldn't find an emoticon with cupcakes, so chose !
Nam, thanks so much...your compliment made my afternoon!
I've noticed that sometimes, but of course its not the norm. I don't work in a caregiving profession though. I wonder why some respond unkindly to charity? Some people understand, like you, Lou. Others are offput by it.
I remember someone telling me how they saw someone on the street who looked like they needed financial help, so he stopped to give them some cash. He told me they just grabbed it. Didn't say thank you or anything. He never forgot that, and spoke of it years later, as it hardened him a little in heart.
I remember being approached in a store, told a sad story, so gave a good amount of cash. I happened to run into the person again later, though they did not see me. They were speaking to a friend and laughing at the number of people they had conned.
People who give are often used over and over again by others. However, that does not mean to stop giving. Gratitude is important, but giving must be its own reward.
No, you're not obligated, but the fact hat you cannot show any speaks volumes. You "accuse" me of being "sinful" by thinking you did not ask permission, yet you will not show any proof of your innocence. Smells fishy to me.
You also write how we are all sinners, does that include you? and then try to me feel I need to repent at the alter for my simple question.
Please provide this proof that you requested permission, time and date (not received after the fact) and I will apologize for thinking you did not ask.
