There are so many blogs, hard to keep up with everything unless you are here 24/7. Also a lot gets deleted with no warning and you are left wondering what happened.
Some pychiatrists are useless and are only in it for the buck. If you go this route, try to get 1-2 recommendations.
But your post sounds more like something recently happened that made you very sad. A lot of people here are ready and willing to listen, and not at $200 per hour.
Remember: Smiling faces, sometimes, they don't tell the truth.
Why should you let anyone tell you what to do? And there are plenty of people here just for friendship and the forums. You are not obligated to date. Enjoy.
I never forgot an experience I had once with a cat. Yes, a cat! :) I was feeling a great deal of love at the time, and the cat somehow sensed it, held my eyes and walked straight over to me. I felt a stronger spiritual communication that day than I ever have with a human being. Either it was a psychic cat or they do have an evolved sense.
