About 20 yrs ago out here in Western Canada, I befriended an elderly Gentleman in our local coffee shop. Apparently he was in the German army at the end of WW2. He was in the youth troops. He spoke of the war,(which he hated) and what happened in Germany and surrounding countries after the war. He had some rather amazing stories, of what happenened after the war, and what world prominent person owned this,or that. I asked him how he knew these things, he just looked at me and smiled, then looked at his freemason ring.
I follow the refugee crisis in Europe on the news, and don t know what to think,
. There is the compassion a person has for people who are displaced due the wars, and revolutions in their homeland
, then there is the curiousity about how many of these people are refugees, and how many are just looking for handouts.
Hello FlyJames, from western Canada, . Summer is on its way out here, Autumn has shown up. I m getting the house stocked up for winter, never know what old man winter has in store for us. 
It breaks up the boredom of winter.
, A lot of wise words there, Thanks, , I can attest to those. I have MS, have to use a cane to walk, And its not progressing, I credit those Six Docters. Other docters, and specialists have done nothing for me, those Six docters have given me some better days,
As usual its nice to hear of your travels , reminds me of my traveling days. I keep hoping for a later winter, but have learnt to never underestimate Old Man Winter, he is a fellow full of surprizes.
I have a problem with No 5, I try to be polite to everyone, but there are people out there who don t know the meaning of manners, and being respectful, or when these traits are shown to them, These type of people are ,in my words BEHINDS, and I couldn t be bothered with them.

Thanks for the new train of thought, it gives a person a a new perspective on things.
We have a local fishing club in the area, where a bunch of fellows get together for a weekend of fishing. Some of the fellows have been known to forget their fishing tackle at home, the wives aren t impressed.
As usual its Great to hear from you, and your travels. AS for trees losing abit of color, I d call that an omen, for all the goofy weather we ve had this year,why not call it an omen,
, I ve found listening to others problems, turmoil sure can bring a person down. I try and be a sympathetic ear to friends with problems , after listening to too much, I notice I don t enjoy, and appreciate the good things in my life.

Just had to say, I sure enjoy your blogs about your travels, . They bring back a lot of good memories of my travels across Saskatchwan , at any hr of the day or night, prior to me coming down with MS. , and you re probably too familiar with those. Keep up the Good work there Bud, Thanks
Years ago ,in western Canada, porcupines were a protected animal. The reason for this was, if someone working in the wilderness got lost, a porcupine was an animal that could be easily killed for a meal. But as time went on that fell by the wayside.
I used to drive a government vehicle for 20 yrs. The work , road construction involved putting a lot of miles on while driving across the province, so I kept my vehicle in good repair. Everytime I took it in for routine servicing , and repairs , Mechanics, would go overboard wanting to do needless expensive work,
The vehicles were fleet vehicles on a company credit card, which I was responsible for, so I told these greedy people any not needed work done ,head office would be told, and your garage would not be seeing any future work on government vehicles. That sure changed the service I got,
I figure you put up a lot of good advice there. Love No 7, if it ain t broken, don t fix it Just kidding, I trust most of my family , but some of them

,Its fine by me. I ve always enjoyed your blogs, they always seem to get me thinking,
I tend to agree with you, health is No 1. I have a disability, Ms, have to use a cane. Even though my ms isn t that bad, its taken me to a point where if I cant do something proper, I don t care to try. I ve given up fishing ,hunting, working.... And with a disability I definitely get a hands off approach, when it comes to relationships, even though Im probably more active than a lot of people that don t have disabilities. 
I have no expectation on dating sites anymore, have met some real losers, But do enjoy the blogs, and chatting with people from around the world, For the last half year or so, I been getting out more, helping a charity, doing some volunteer work, going out for coffee more, Met some nice women,enjoying myself, , I m sure a Sweetie, like yourself is going to surprize yourself,
The words Brigitte Gabriel spoke sure carried a powerful message.I believe in what she is saying.It sure gets a person thinking. I hope the public ,on both sides of our border listen to her message, . Theres no end in sight, I wish there was a lot more speakers like Brigitte Gabriel
, Back Again, Cat, had some great advice, on the earlier blog. Getting involved in the community, is a great way to meet people. I do volunteer work in the community, met a lot of people, and that feeling of accomplishment makes a person feel good, , You have a Good One,
Sounds like you have the same attitude I had about dating sites. Now I make a point of getting out more, meeting people, chatting, and enjoying myself. Shopping, browsing in stores, out for meals, libraries, just getting out, has been more entertaining than dating sites.
