Hello Johnny, Me being a former heavy drinker, party animal, did learn two things. Never ever try and reason with a drunk. And a good friend , will do anything to impress a female, and that includes stabbing his best friend in the back. ( I have scars on my back to prove it)
I ve always thought, people who do wrong, only think of themselves, and have no regards for others,so why feel quilty,???? Those people definitely have a scary outlook on life,
Nice pics, The second ,and forth photos, looks similar to the northern lights, I ve seen in northern Saskatchewan, many times. It seems, the further north, a person is, the more magnificent and brighter the northern lights look, Thanks for the pics,
Hello Track, Well , I pretty much got the house set for winter, I hope, just sitting here, doing nothing, wondering if I got it , and myself ready for cold weather, Dread the thought of shovelling snow
Here in Canada, with 10 provinces, the laws from Province to Province, vary abit, but over all are all headed in the same direction. Economic conditions, population, geographic conditions vary, I think with all the varying conditions, laws vary some to fit the situation. For instance, people who live in the far north, rely upon fire arms for obtaining food, and for protection from wildlife, (fire arms are common place) , where in the south , where firearms are not a necessity , how can you have one set of laws for two, different situations.
Back again, Map you mentioned how the world works, When I was younger, and started working we had a work incentive program. It was called WORK or GET FIRED, I figure it should used more these days,
Hello Track, As I follow the news, from across our country, and from across the world, I can t remember the last time there was any GOOD news, Is this the sign of the times, one endless stream of bad news,
Hello Jim, All kidding aside, a lot of people frown upon jigsaw puzzles, (as I did), but an elderly lady , My Mom, once told me, Jigsaw puzzles are relaxing. They encourage visiting, chatting, get togethers.... Something so simple gives so much, and a lot of people don t realize this,
Hello Lindsy, If some of the women I know ruled the world ,there would definitely be no more wars. These women would rather go shopping, than fight or argue, They have been known to shop till they drop,
Hello OB, The one thing I don t care for , when meeting someone for the first time is someone who has a bad attitude Meeting someone for the first time should be a happy occasion, full of smiles, and laughes not complaints, and an I hate everyone attitude, We all have our good days, bad days, but meeting somone for the first time should be a positive one,
Hello Lindsy, I do agree with what L Ranger has said, and I also think if world powers, and sanctions can t get N korea to change its plans to be a nuclear power, history could be repeating itself when it comes to another Korean conflict, The world is volatile enough as is ,without a major world conflict in N korea,
Hello Nam, back again, I m not familiar with the roulette wheel, and I give you credit for not going to a casino. I go out, occasionally, enjoy plunking away at the machines, but theres more to do than gamble, a fine restaurant, coffee, and visiting, (the casino is meeting place for people in our area), and its centered near the major shopping.
Hello Nam, I go out to our casino every so often, (play the slots, coffee, or visit.....) and non casino goers ask me how to win, , I tell them don t go near the casino, and you ve Won, by not loosing your money
We have strict gun laws here in Canada , that only effect honest responsible gun owners. Criminals still have access to prohibited weapons. More crimes are committed with knives than firearms, , and it it wasn t knives it would be something else. Maybe instead of gun laws, we have stricter laws against people who uses guns, knives, and what ever in criminal acts. Laws are inacted for the criminal element of society, not law biding citizens. Definitely something wrong with the present situation.
Nam, Here in Canada, we have some tough gun laws. Machine guns are prohibited, clip size restricted, handguns highly regulated, and the list goes on and on...... and that doesn t stop the crimals from obtaining firearms, Here in the province where I live, Knives kill more people than guns, especially kitchen table knives in domestic disputes. Our population here in Canada is 1/10th that of your country, but our crime rates are comparible, and worse in some cases. The way I see it , if there were NO guns at all, there would be another weapon of choice. Society has to change its attitude to appreciating life, not hating life ,and showing it with guns, and other weapons. Definitely something wrong in this world,
RE: any tips?
