Myself , I think ALOT more wars were started over religion than we realize, , and now the God all mighty dollar has replaced religion,
I definitely remember of a similar program here,but can t quite remember the name used. but it sounds like a good idea.
I ve heard of a similar type program here ,in parts of North America ,a yr or two ago.After that, haven t heard a word of it,
It sounds like a good program to put in place, (can never argue with any safety measures). And something to ponder, with bars and such places having a high turn over in staff, it might be difficult to keep the program in place,

Good to here from you. Enjoy your blog, and the history lesson. Myself being a fan of the enfield, was always curious to its predecessor, the Martini Henry. I ve seen the Martini Henry in a lot of historic movies, and never realized they were so prevalent. Here in Canada, prior 1900, being a common wealth country , any extension of British forces here used more north American rifles. After WW1 , enfields, were the common rifle of choice here. 
How did you get into my house stuff, like that one, I m pretty leanient on judging people when meeting them for the first time,figuring anyone can have a bad day, but the fellow you mentioned sounds like that's all he has is bad days, My recommendation for those types of people is out of sight, out of mind.

A few years back we had a fishing club, where guys would head north camping, and fishing..... and drinking , and playing poker, and drinking and drinking, sometimes they would even take their fishing gear. Those women had no sense of HA HA.

Tired of being Used, interesting topic, I m in the process of abandoning a number of friends. Apparently the only time these friends seem to know me, is when they need something, and beyond that, they don t know me, so I ve decided to , not know them. Thought I d return the favor. Me , I have Ms, and have to use a cane, and maybe give the impression I ll be asking for some sort of help, and a few friends tend to avoid me for this reason, but they forget that I m the person usually helping out others. Oh well, its time to make some new friends anyways.
As for a Greeter checking my receipt , I don t mind at all. And for those who complain about it, should be told of the dollar value of the shoplifted items . I ve know a few workers ,at prominent businesses around town, the shoplifting stories, the desperation of some of those shoplifters, and the value of shoplifted material is unreal. Back to those receipts being checked, there is a reason for it, and for how little time it takes, whats the fuss about.
I ve always believed a person can learn from others, not so much as to what others do well, but what they do bad. Once you see what others are doing poorly ,don t go there, learn from their mistakes.

Being honest, and truthful, Good Blog topic, These days that's becoming rare, I figure I m honest with people, and expect the same in return, but find honesty,with somepeople gets lost in a world of lies, and drama, And when someone makes a mistake,its always some one elses fault.
Tomorrow thru Saturday our temps are going down to Minus 30 C, Celceus or Fahrenhiet its cold Our Christmas week was a bit colder, Would one of the Global warming advocates tell me where it is,

Our Christmas week here was a week of extreme cold warnings, record setting cold temps, then we were back to normal temps for a few days, and now back to plummeting temps, I haven t heard anyone mentioning Global warming here. It makes me wonder are our extreme weather events, just part of the norm, or the so called Global warming,
In my portion of Western Canada, where I live , we haven t had that much snow, the snowmobilers are hoping for more snow for their machines. The Christmas week and that of New years day we did have a week of extremes cold, Lots of extreme cold warnings,, The day before New years day it was Minus 37 low temp, with a minus 47 windchill. At least when its that cold, we don t get snow, Oh well, we ll be getting it ,sooner or later, You have a Good One Bud,
I haven t given it too much thought as to what I m thinking about when I m constipated, But I ll keep it in mind for next time,
