I m not familiar with Verdulagas, but love hearing the stories of your Mom .Sounds like she was a very caring loving person, a memory to treasure. Keep those Verdulagas plants , and mermories alive.

I go to cemeteries to set flowers out, and to recollect memories, and stories of deceased loved ones. And I also talk about, and tell fond stories of deceased loved ones. They may be gone , but I figure someone has to keep memories, and stories about them alive.

I one time, sitting in a bar,having a beer, was hauled to Jail, and questioned, because I looked like, and was dressed similar to a robber. I was later released. I then chuckled about it, and told the police ,I realized they were just doing their jobs.

Yes , I m thinking of that earlier cartoon you put up, You mentioned shopping, I only go shopping at 8am ,in the morning. (when the stores open) Plenty of parking spots, near the front door, no line ups in the store, not as many shoppers, .... Every one is in Good Moods,, well most people there are in Good moods. And being a regular shopper , at the store, (at this time) I know the staff, and get good service. Nam, I can actually say ,I ve started to enjoy shopping,
I ve always thought, when a couple is serious about one another, there are someplaces neither one of them should venture. (for those sake of the current relationship) Ex es definitely disrupt relationships, I can t see them helping anything. Oh yes I ve heard that saying from old girlfriends ,> But we re just friends, just before the relationship ended.
I too have noticed the blogs tend to slow down in the summer months. Here in Canada , we have Canada day, (long weekend) . A lot of festivities, and celebations..... people are out camping, attending the events, and in my part of town its just as quiet as the blogs have been.
