Hello Nam, Me with some health issues, I don t only get WHY, I get Why don t you ???? and the Well I do it this way, And people wonder why I m turning into a miserable old man, I feel I m beyond having to be continually having to explain myself, so either I don t listen to alot of people, or I tell them their questions are stupid, then I leave. ( I figure if I m going to leave them, I might as well leave them wondering )
Hello GentleJim, I too wouldn t mind meeting John Wayne , Great minds must think alike, There s a good number of people I won t mind meeting, but for right now I d be happy meeting a number of the nice people here on CS.
Hello Molly, You are right, and have brought up some good points.,gives me a different way of looking at things, Thanks. I ve found people, when they hear ms, they assume wheelchairs, confined to a bed, inactivity.... MAybe I ve been trying to ,somewhat stress, I m not there. Its a different situation, for instance when a lot of people hear someone has a disability, they avoid that person ,thinking the person with a disabilty will be asking for help or assistance of some sort. Its been a learning procedure.
Hello Molly, The first impression I give people is someone who needs a cane, and is slow. and maybe it sticks in my mind as well. I m proud of the fact I m active, and have a good attitude, but people don t notice that. Its given me a great appreciation of life and friends, but people don t notice that. I m one of those ,the glass is half full type people , not half empty types. Hope I made sense.
Back again, you called it,about drought, here in west central sask, and area, the farmers are already talking about drought, You mentioned the weather getting wilder, it also gets on the scary side. I worked ,and traveled in some of that scary weather, (white outs, blizzards, extreme cold.....) You take it easy there bud.
Hello Molly, You attract who you are, I couldn t agree with more. Me having a disability, (MS, which isn t progressing) , I ve found, of my best female friends are ones that have disabilities themselves. Our disabiilties , might have slowed us down some but they ve given us a greater appreciation of life, A common bond there. Me when I mention I have ms, I get treated different by people especially women, , little do they realize, that I m probably more active than a lot of people. Oh well , such is life.
Hello Track, I ve been following the weather channels about your weather. Can t believe the snow, ,you re getting. Unreal. Its plus 6 here in my part of Sask, what little snow we ve had is melting away, We ve had a few weeks of extreme cold, but bearable. The weather patterns are definitely changing, and unfortunately you re getting the worst of it. You take care there Bud.
Nam, that particular fellow you re referring to keeps, his distance. And me being somewhat vocal at times, make sure I remind him what a behind he is. And you know what, he doesn t shop at the same time I do,
Hello Nam, I ve learnt years ago, I can t control what people say,or think. But it is up to me to decide whether or not to listen to their words of wisdom or nonsense.
Back Again, We re having warmer weather here in Saskatchwan, Plus 6 celeus ,later in the week,(in the 40s, ) Unreal, two weeks ago it was minus 30, I hoping spring is here,
Hello Lindsy, I tend to agree with GentleJim. Drugs are a major problems, not only in your country ,but ours as well. As the using of drugs goes up, crime rates go up as well, leading to countless other problems, And unfortunately there is no end in sight.
Hello Nam, How ve you been keeping. As for those owners you ve referred to, I ve known a few who treated thier employees like part of the equipment, Me not working directly for them, and me having a big mouth at times reminded them the most valuable part of thier companies was the good employees.
Hello GentleJim, And hello to you too Luvontherocks, I m a young 59 on May 12th, you heard the saying smarter with age, well I ll be older, and not as stupid,
Hello Scotty, Here in my part of Canada, Bacon and eggs, with toast and coffee is a usual breakfast, but I know numerous families who on Sundays, have something different, french toast, pancakes..... Large family get togethers have an assortment of all the above mentioned foods. I m getting hungry thinking of breakfast,, off to make a bite to eat,
Hello, Sunday afternoons, are my designated hold the couch down day kidding, I like to phone up the elders of the family ,and say hello, and see how they re doing. Other than that, Sunday afternoons I like to have one of those lazy days,
I ve noticed alot of young kids tend to go into a trance, and are ,all of a sudden deaf when infront of a tv, or within reach of a phone. Is this a symptom of Kevinism,
Hello Cat, A person has to remember ,those cute little children between 2 and 4 do turn into teenagers, and they do nothing but text, All kidding aside, I get along pretty good with kids of all ages. Ive even do some baby sitting, and learnt a good number of things, mostly about myself. I have learnt I enjoy seeing the little ones, but after a while I tend to enjoy seeing them, go home, After baby sitting 3 young ones, (4,6,7), a person will learn their patience level, and whether or not they re turning into a miserable old man , I have also learnt ,I must be doing something right when I babysit, because those kids always ask to have me as their baby sitter, I sure have learnt how to enjoy my piece and quiet more,
Hello Scotty, Once I start doing nothing ,I don t know when to stop, , once I m on a roll ,why stop a good thing, , and when doing nothing, I try not to think of doing anything, because it could interfere with me doing nothing. I m pretty sure this is something that men have mastered,
