I m not fully aware of the American political system, but know ,like many Americans, I wasn t impressed with the past administration. The citizens of your country voted for a change, and they got it. And with the campaign rhetoric being history, I do like alot of Trumps ideas. He does have some plans on doing something, instead of talking about it. Now time will tell what gets done, Wish him and your country the best.

Well ,here in Western Canada, we re just coming out of a week or so of extreme cold.
There was temps in the minus 30s, celceus, ,alot colder wind chill warnings > extreme cold warnings.
I could handle that,
I was particularly fond of the 70s, and 80s, In the 70s, I just finished high school, entered the workforce, and was finding myself. It was prior the computor age, the country side, around here at least wasn t hit by high tech farming methods, and seemed so much greener, and more natural. Jobs were a plenty, and I was noticing girls. 
Massive military outposts are built for a specific reason. In todays world ,with its troubled times, another massive military post is definitely not good news,

One thing that has me wondering is, it was announced the drone was retrieving scientific data, if so what was the navy drone doing collecting scientific data, Shouldn t the science people have been doing that. Usually when navies, or armies are involved , the science research angle wears thin, just curious,
I figure myself to be old fashioned. When I invite a girl out for supper, I intend to pay for it, because I didn t invite the girl out to buy me supper. Hope that makes sense. And if we seem to connect, maybe I ll be invited over for a homecooked meal, or out again for another meal, (a sure sign things are going well) There is some good thinking that goes into being old fashioned.

I agree with what you re saying, there s going to be those worse case scenerios always, and a person has to be leery. But I have an optomistic side. Theres going to be some good ladies involved in this cuddling service, If there weren t the service wouldn t survive.

I have learnt mice are a very social creature, if you see signs of one mouse, there are probably his family ,and neighbors of his close by, There were a few times in past where I wished I had only one mouse problems,
Around the xmas season, my neighbors send over their fancy christmas baking, Lots of sweets, and chocalates, too much . I will be eating fine, and with too much food around the house, I do my best to pass some of it on to other people who are on thier own. The bad part with me is , Once I start doing nothing, I don t know when to stop,

Theres good and bad in all professions, its sad the actions of a few bad apple truckers reflect upon the rest of the hard working truckers, I hope people realize most truckers are good guys, just trying to make a living. Yes . the blogs have been toned down alot,. Religion, and politics seem to have replaced the humor, and interesting blogs, Look who s talking, I find myself getting caught up in those topics at times. At times ,I wonder if this new format on here was an attempt to revive CS, And a few of the characters on CS are gone, ???? I keep hoping the festive season has caught the attention of some of those regulars and they ll return. I know what you re referring to about christmas. People don t need one time of year to be nice to others, it should be done all year. And then again , in this hectic, and hurried world, maybe christmas serves as a reminder , to spend time with friends, and family, It gives me something to look forward to,
