A Big Hello to you Nam, and you too Wallops, funny you mentioned ,They Say, This morning in the quiet coffee shop, some Twerp was talking about a particular area in town that's rather bad. He was saying They Say theres a lot of break ins there. I asked him Who s They, , he replyied Well They Say. I then begged him ,Who s they, and I followed that up with I live in that neighborhood, and I couldn't have better neighbors, and a quieter part of town. And I ve never heard of any crime,( break ins ) in this nice part of town. When I got back to Whos they, the twerp ,up and left. Yes Nam, I got abit loud, I couldn t handle someone belittling where I live. You have a Great day there Bud,
Hello Lindsyjones Loved your blog , We are awesome, I also figure most people born between 1925 and 1970, have work ethics, manners, and respect, and that wasn't taught on a computer. We are AWESOME, Thanks Lindsy, Really enjoyed that.
Good Morning Nam, Beware of the quiet ones , you say, In the past I ve worked with afew of those quiet ones. I found they were very good at back stabbing, trying to make themselves look good. Informing these people of their rights usually corrected the situation. Those rights ,they were informed about , sometimes were accompanied with an occasional left.
Good Morning lindsyjones Hello from Saskatchwan. Spring has arrived on the Canadian Prairies. Its warming up, the snow has been gone for awhile. Lawns, and trees are turning green. What a Great day to wake up to, And fishing season is not far off, You have a Great Day.
Hello Nam, A number of yrs back, at the time of 9 11, we had a small local bar , being run and operated by a number of supposed Good Muslim people. When 9 11 happened, these people were celebrating and happy about it. The bar was promptly shut down, and the incident was never to have happened. good people , bad people,
Hello Nam, , and you too Wallops, . Nam you mentioned Aggravating people. Over the last few yrs, the community I live in has had a lot of immigrants settle here. Most of them are very nice people, they aren t only in the community, but part of the community. But there is one select group of these immigrants who have no manners, no respect for others. Me (having ms), when I go out shopping, I have been pushed, nudged with shopping carts, and expected to jump out of their way, when they re walking, staring at their toes, while texting, Me having a big mouth have told some of these people they were RUDE, and ignorant , the response I got was ,they would look skyward and say No SPEAKY ENGLISH, I have been told by store workers, these people are the rudest shoppers in the store. I ll tell you Nam, my patience is wearing thin.
Hello Nam, We have some of those people around here. I ve hidden my pack of smokes a few time. I use a cane, because of my ms, and at times I figure because I have a disability I m somewhat of a target for these bums. I used to work on road construction, and had to be loud at times myself., I have given the odd sponge a very Loud No, it helps at times. As for these sponges, 10 yrs ago we didn t have them walking the streets, now there seems to be more every time you blink.
Nam, I have taken for a few bucks, groceries, favors,at times have been abit to kind hearted.Usually when I help some one out, my kindness is repaid, (thought I was a good judge of character). But some people have taken the fine art of being a sponge to a new level.
Hello Nam, Love your topic , I was going to add to your topic of human Sponges. Human sponges also figure the world owes them a living ,and they are also full of poor me stories,(to work on your kindness) I have also found these sponges are quick to tell you , you have so much , that you should share. I find it very difficult to distinguish legitimate people in need from career sponges,
Hello LouLou, I m not so much of a believer in ghosts, but on a few occasions after loosing loved ones, really made me wonder, For instance, in 1980, I was hunting, with my hunting partner, an older gentleman. He apparently had a heart attack, and died out in the field. I found the body, and was quite shook up. My hunting partner was like my 2nd father. A few days later at the funeral, I was standing in the church in tears, still shook up.Well out of the blue, a big gust of wind ,blew the church doors open. While standing there in tears, I could have sworn someone laid a hand on my shoulder and gently shook it, then patted me on the side of my head, just like my hunting partner used to do when I was a little tyke. I figure it was his way of telling me he was okay, and in a better place. It gets a person to wondering.
Hello Snookums, I agree with you totally. You mentioned drunk drivers, well I ve heard from the RCMP, (ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE) that they figure people texting are causing just as many accidents, and killing as many people as drunk drivers,
Hello Wallops . Thanks for the Nice message. Last night we had 5 inches of snow fall, and with the winds, there was a number of 2 to 3 foot snow drifts everywhere. My Neighbors daughter , from across the street shouted out, Merry Christmas, , later I had to laugh, because I know Spring is just around the corner, You have a Great day,
Hello Socrates, Good topic. Rather sad, the god almighty dollar is killing off the Mighty Elephants. And if the trend continues, before the whole world realizes it , the Majestic Elephant will be gone, then what target will the god almighty dollar set its sites on. I figure some drastic measures should be taken to come to the aid of Elephants, To the sellers, buyers, and poachers of ivory. Maybe if some of these low lifes were made example off, it would bring more attention to the plight of Elephants. All the countries of the world have to make an effort to stop the cruelty towards Elephants, and it starts with people knowing the plight of the Elephant. Thanks for a Good Article Socrates,
Hello Rain, 10, 15 yrs ago I was one of those bad boys, on the wild side. Went out with a number of women, some of them on the bad side. There was always some sort of turmoil happening in my life. When I quit drinking and partying, all that stopped. I ve come to the conclusion a lot of people thrive on having some sort of turmoil and excitement in their lifes. You mentioned bad boys, there is a lot of bad girls out there as well.
Hello Ken, Your tracks , , I have seen a large Lynx ,and its tracks are biggar than a coyotes, but I don t remember prominent claws, and theyre not know to go after deer, . Working in northern Sask yrs ago trappers have told me Lynx can be an aggressive animal. There is also bobcats, a slightly smaller version of a lynx, with different camoflouged coloring, and they re about 2 to 3 times the size of the average housecat. The bobcats I ve seen, (when working in the bush) are very shy, and timid) but who knows what they re like when starving. In the small, northern communities in my province , predators have been known to step into edges of towns after pets for a meal. My old friend cooey has been known to change the eating habits of some of these predators. Catch you later.
I know my neighbors, they know me,as a matter of fact, I earlier today dropped some burgers off off for one of them, a thank you for helping me shovel snow. The neighbors, around me ,are close, helping each other out, being there for one another. And I like it that way, As for not greeting people you don t know, you call it okay, I call it rude. Whats the old saying, Too have good neighbors, you have to be a Good neighbor.
Hello, Gentlejim, Good story, I can relate to it, I just finished shovelling half the driveway, This winter we ve had below ave snowfall, and the warmest jan on record, Two winters ago Saskatchwan set a record , for most snowfall in 80 yrs, , similar to your story. I m lucky to have neighbors with big snowblowers, . It is surprizing how many men have heart attacks ,while shovelling snow, take care of yourself there Bud,

Hello Minnie , I inherited my moms 12 yr old toy poodle. Words cant begin to the describe the loyalty, love and devotion he has shown. Mom has been gone a year and a half and her little dog is still looking for her. My little pal has made me a more patient , kinder, person. He definitely has me trained. The house has been rather, too quiet since Moms passing, I m very fortunate to have him, or should I say to have each other.
