If you say thanks but no thanks... One person calls you names and carries on, another says Ok then quietly jumps off a cliff... Who handled it better? you might think it's the one that said OK... because you didn't hear anything more.
I doubt steak will change much in price, I don't know if it's still the case, but Australian steak had to be ground up to be sold there. Protecting US farmers from having to compete against folks that can do it better and cheaper... No biggy, we have no problems getting rid of the stuff, everyone else likes it.
Very similar price, eye filet about 40 something bucks a kilo... More if it's organic or fancy, there's the currency conversion and average wage/inflation etc, but I'd say much the same.
Waterworld... Can't remember if it was Russel Crowe or Mel Gibson, in fact, can't remember much about it other than it was really boring and pointless.
I think it's something like 50-60% of police work here is domestic violence. It seems highly unusual that it would not be at least a serious issue in any developed country.
Thanks, the should I or shouldn't have done something different, it's a bit of torment. But at that exact moment it seemed the only option. I would hope other neighbours also called, who knows. I have no faith the police would protect my anonymity, I have to live here.
