Maybe if the relationship meant nothing to either of us. Or we had children together. Hopefully not both. Kids with a woman who meant nothing would be the worst thing of all.

But in this ADHD is a lot more common for the same reason as divorce. It'll get to the point where a minority of healthy people diagnosed with an attention surplus disorder. The sort of freaks who can read a book, the sort of weirdo who can get from the top of the page all the way to the bottom - no distractions.
Atheism makes it slightly more possible to reason with a woman. A masculine side but not a like brute, I could easily marry a woman who fights for a world of reason.

They're not causing any harm apart from gradually becoming terrible to those closest to you. You're not a complete stranger who doesn't really like me, what do I need you for?
But to be fair it could not really be any other way. The pandemic is a blast from the past but we don't have many oldendaysers. By oldendaysers I mean people who were born to die. What we have now is the New Old People and it's utopian scheme for a 1000 year life.
The young are sort of drafted in to provide teamwork. There aren't many old people who say being old I would have died soon anyway so give me a vaccine, but don't shut down society I would have died soon anyway.
In the modern world youth exists to pay for the pensions and to act as a backup bag of internal organs. This was the attitude to posterity long before the pandemic.
Panic initially followed by an aging populations discrimination against the young. Why are pensions still triple locked? Because they're all so entitled.
My shopping is even more male than normal, it never really gets that cluttered. The occasional visit to the charity shop with a bag full of things people gave me. I tell them no, but it won't stop.
The same but to be fair my dad's parents were really old coming from a time when people could still be trusted. My nanna is one of the disgraceful new old people, a cradle to grave battleaxe who never had anything better to do than cause trouble.
All sorts of reasons it happens. Sometimes it's to manipulate someone into being themselves by not telling them what to do. What was expected of you? Nothing, apparently.
Your fellow countrymen do not marry into money, they cross the sea on a punctured lilo with a mentality not altogether different from the men who built the Empire State building. We see those old photographers, one false move and you're dead. It's the total opposite personality to the feminity of riches and safespace.
