RE: What is the difference?

At bottom I think spiritualism is an untroubled state sort of like a cat. You could lose a leg and the following day there is almost no ill-feeling.

Now that could go either way. Angel or devil. A baby throwing up on you with almost no ill-feeling towards the baby, or the act of murdering your enemies with neither guilt nor merriment. Just a clean kill.

RE: What is the difference?

Treat a man like an animal and he'll behave like a.. saint. What goes in is not what comes out. I don't know how much of this is real. A lot of it has something to do with the cosmic money energy that flows towards you after your parents die. Inheritance and insurance.

Religion is different to spirituality. Religion is more of a we, deep relationships with other people because you're not insured. You're not going to get very far alone in contrast to the advance to Mayfair after your parents die.

RE: Many countries snub UN sanctions for Russia.

As for Mexico they've been increasingly run by criminal gangs for a long time. Even the veneer of legitimate government has collapsed.

RE: What if Putin morphs into Biden, or vise versa?

Morph Putin into somebody sweet and reasonable who won't take too much advantage of Joe Biden's lack of critical faculty.

RE: What if Putin morphs into Biden, or vise versa?

Or go the other way and morph Putin into Yeltsin who can easily be beaten by a Bush. That would be convenient for us. But then that wouldn't be kind to anyone else. Living under Biden or Yeltsin easily explains why people eventually come back furious.

RE: Have you ever experienced a Manifestation?

I don't know. There was a period in 2012 where I was sure I was going to die but then I've never achieved more in my life than in that 6 months a machine. It was like an autopilot when my conscious brain always thought there was no point in being alive past 25. How wrong that thought was

RE: What do you think would happen if ...

If we were Russian in mentality then Brexit would entail an Ireland united under British rule. But we are not. Imperialism does not dominate the spirit of young minds in Britain. On the contrary it's cutting our losses. More likely to hand northern Ireland back to Ireland. Eject the drug addicts and the violent nationalists, not bring them in.

RE: What do you think would happen if ...

That would be the closest equivalent to Putin and to us that would seem completely absurd. Britain invading Southern Ireland to force it out of the EU in the interests of Brexiteers. It wouldn't happen, but it is the same.

RE: What do you think would happen if ...

Which is the difference between us and Russia. The west is more leisurely it's much harder to provoke it's people into fighting for the west. The Russian public is much more chomping at the bit. It doesn't take much for Putin to get away with Ukraine. But Brexiteers would never invade southern Ireland because of issues with the northern Irish border.

RE: What do you think would happen if ...

Eaten by a bear.

Although the longest we've gone without picking up a weapon is probably right now. We've consolidated violence and war into police forces, the army and finally the nuclear bomb. But even that's emasculating. Have you read fight club or looked at the people who like Putin? They simply ignore the pacifism demanded by the office and the nuclear bomb. Why? Because we are evolved for lion attack.

RE: War,,,

One alpha male gives another alpha male a wide berth which is where the separation of powers stems from.

Women are much more likely to line us up behind one superalpha who crushes all other competition. Like Simon Cowell and the X Factor.

RE: If you could be any again, What age would it be?

16 if I can travel back to 2003. That last summer of high school before entering the world of work. Basically i'll have the most rights with the least responsibilities please

RE: How would you feel if your partner posted on CS ?

We've discussed it and have agreed upon a curfew, an evening curfew for the days we are together. The days we're not together are technically optional but I'm trying to steer clear in the spirit of moderation.

RE: What is your nationalism preference ?

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That would be the extent of the law. And what's government? Control yourself.

RE: What is your nationalism preference ?

Christian anarchist. Authority was, is and forever will be a Christ-killer and a beast.

Admittedly this is more of a personal view than a plan for a new society.

RE: Should Andrew relinquish his right to the British throne & be King of a United Ireland ?

I like the thinking. Two black sheep of the family taken out in one go, but then you can't just put a man down, can you? - particularly not when it's family.

RE: audiophile females?

The 1960s music was good because they were musicians who won and lost fights. They had a villain and a boundary to push against. Their songs were still better when the album had a weird hiss on.

Anyway I think man's greater love for music is his difficulty expressing emotion in an obvious way.

RE: audiophile females?

Art exists to get around the censor. I strongly associate art with your own tears going unheard. And I associate art as taking a crap on the floor with medals for tears.

RE: audiophile females?

I'm sure there are. But another reason could be that music is more the man's secret way to be emotional. He's much more likely to reminisce with himself, by himself. I may not know much about art, but I always thought art comes from not saying it. It comes from repression in a sense. It has to sound good because it won't be heard otherwise, or be attacked if it was.

RE: Can you think about the future without being sad? Where will you be in 12 years?

And more than that we've all heard of Confucius and Taoism, ying and yang etc. But we don't remember the legalists who massacred them all.

RE: Can you think about the future without being sad? Where will you be in 12 years?

And I believe that because all around the world are the ruins of past civilisations that had scaled the heights of history and thought they were safe. I don't believe in the final solution or the end of history, that humanity is going to arrive at some sort of end state from which there is no alternative. When in ancient China the legalists came to power and massacred the hundred schools of thought, this was their undoing.

RE: Can you think about the future without being sad? Where will you be in 12 years?

The pessimist in me would say that we are terminally defeated through destroying the marketplace of ideas. But I'm not sure that I believe that. I don't believe in 1984 or brave new world. All the material forces of the world can fall apart on their own. Woke capitalism can regiment our lives down to the smallest detail and still miss something. Violating something so innately human that the system becomes more chaotic than fascist.

RE: Do you believe you have a Soulmate

Sort of. I don't think the universe owes me a lover, I don't live like finding my soulmate is going to happen to me, and yet i know that the one I love most will not be perfect. They'll not be what I thought, wanted and planned for. I do believe that love finds you when you're not looking for it and when that person is not even necessarily what you're looking for. So much of ourself and the other are a mystery, love cannot succeed with plan.

RE: Can you think about the future without being sad? Where will you be in 12 years?

I'd be willing to bet that the act of terraforming Mars takes longer than inventing faster than light travel and reaching another galaxy with a ready made world. Mars will be like HS2 or particularly the halogen bulb. We've lost interest by the time it's ready.

RE: Can you think about the future without being sad? Where will you be in 12 years?

And I reckon that Mars, the red planet, will capture imagination to start with but terraforming Mars will eventually become the project of old socialists. It never did make economic sense but it was a spur of the will for a time, a belief that progress is possible.
