I don't think you have the same rival in younger men as older women do with younger women. Cougars are not what most older women would desire to be. And "Toyboys" are very often men rejected by women their own age.
I would argue that cougar stems from exclusively from 60 is new 40. Immaturity for your age and pretending age is younger than what it is so that you don't feel like a hasbeen. Toyboy is just one of many anti-aging products she doesn't even like him.
It's a positive stereotype but women like taking care of people. And besides age merely shows that we all look like men which isn't so bad if you're a man.
I would guess that it's the difference between the hunter and the gatherer. The hunter was transfixed by the same thing all day every day, the gatherer not so much. The gatherer did many things more things in a day and the gathering itself not so intensely focused as hunting an animal for hours on end.
Men seem pretty autistic to me. I mean there will be an historic reason why men are transparent and one-dimensional, and a reason why women are a lot less aspie bull being relatively shady and multifaceted.
I thought the vaccines were more dangerous than covid for under 18s. And that was before omicron which being friendlier than delta must bring that age up to about 30. Suffice is to say that politics must be overruling the scientists left, right and centre.
