The therapy dogs were smarter than the counsellor ... they had a bellyful and then ran away to different cities, denied their identity, acted like strays, were caught by animal control and all were re-homed quickly :-)

As for those who allege that people here are 'hiding' because they choose not to display pics .. you have the choice to display or not display and others have the same choice. I;d sooner trade skype details than look at photos ... so many of them are so far out of date as to be utterly meaningless ! I looked at one recently where the member actually stated pics were ten years old but haven't changed ? Really ... why are they here instead of out making a mint on their secret to eternal youth ?

1) Check the airfilter is clean - when you take the lid off to chack it remove it completely and esp look at the underside ... that's generally the 'dirty' side!
2) Check the sparkplugs are in good condition and clean - if they're old with worn electrodes then they're never going to manage to ignite all the fuel. If they look sooty that's a good clue to 1 above needing attention!
3) If it's a fuel injected motor then check the airmass sensor ( it's on the engine side of the air intake) is also clean and be sure it's facing the right direction ( arrow pointing to the engine and not the filter)

Two people who are very different rarely succeed as they have little in common, so when life get's stress there's no 'commonality to fall back on in one another' and the stress tends to lead to fractures.
IMHO ... it's always better to be honest about 'what you look for' than to waste the time of those people who are 'outside of' the group that you would even consider. If you have your heart set on a new Ford you'd not not really pay any attention to a GM salesperson would you - and you'd certainly not wander into their showroom to waste their time? So, why be less courteous here ? ( as an aside perhaps 'courtesy and here' are exclusive terms ? )
Likewise with the selection of where you will accept mail from ... and of course it's always another aid to spotting scammers if they don't read the profile and just bang out the same mail to everyone regardless !
