I'm 'with the majority here' though who are telling you that 'what you think' or worse 'what you fear' is by far the bigger influence upon your success or failure dating!
My best guess would be that there are many women who don't want to have involvement because they already have kids of their own and don't want to become greatly involved in the work of looking after more. Oddly enough some have had experiences of men who sought a partner and had that expectation.
I will say though that grumbling and expressing unhappiness on an international forum ... well, it's not your best idea so far bro!

I'm all for comfort Swiss and I do always expect to pay when I extend the invitation unless it was discussed first.
