My heart goes out to young people involved in things like this. I hope things go well for you and for your future.
When I lived in San Diego, there was a 15 yr. old who took a gun to Santana High School. He will be spending the rest of his life in prison. He was having a really hard time adjusting to a move from the east coast, was getting made fun of, etc.
By the time he got to court, he looked so grown up and handsome, he would have eventually had many friends. It's so tragic, one bad day ruined his life, along with many others who he shot.
Violent crimes scare me, but something like cultivating marijuana, or white collar crimes where no physical violence was involved, I would consider giving them a chance.
Maybe there is nothing to learn, or teach a guy. It's not anything he is doing wrong, he just isn't your type. She doesn't want to say anything to hurt their feelings. That is where the little white lie comes in.
This afternoon, my 16 yr. old told me that next year, after his graduation from H.S., he will probably move to Oklahoma with his dad. There are opportunites there for him, given his Native American heritage. He will be with his dad's side of the family. This is good news, since for the first time he mentioned college, where he could go either free or at a reasonably cost.
This leaves me with the reality that I am going to alone, eventually it would have happened anyways. My mother won't last forever, then I'll be free to travel or stay here.
What a lot of options, if this happens. I can travel!
Here I am now, with him in Canada, not allowed to return to the U.S. It worked for quite a while, but all along we both knew he would return there and I wouldn't follow. So now it's really hard getting over this.
Like the old saying, always a bridemaid, never a bride?
I wouldn't worry about it. Stay friends with anyone who you wish to, and try not to give it a second thought about becoming romantically involved. It's true, some friendships do last longer than most relationships.
Maybe one of the guy friends will know you well enough to set up with one of his friends.
How long of a distance? Is it realistic to see eachother on weekend? Each month? How important is it to each of the people to be together a lot of the time?
I went with someone for three years and we saw eachother on weekends only. It worked fine, I had my much needed space during the week.
But toward the last year, I wanted more space from him and wanted him to come over on Sat. night instead of Friday night. Wanted him to leave Sunday afternoon instead of night.
Seeing eachother on weekends only prolonged the knowledge that we had less in common that I thought. He would have continue this arrangement indefinitely I think. I wanted to move one.
Again, how long is the distance? How costly is it to get together, how much travel time is involved? Military families live in long distance relationships for a while, and they can keep it together. Sometimes the distance can make things more exciting.
For the most part, I'd say no.
I am beginning to wonder if three years is my limit in a relationship.
Hola, You are farther north than I remember. I was thinking you are near Del Mar. I was near the border to Tijuana. Those were some fun years! !Buen suerte!
This is an unpopular point of view, but maybe he is helping to talk her down. If she is having a really hard time, maybe he isn't so cruel that he would hang up on her. Ask him.
I've been using internet about eight even years, and I have met two men who I had relationships with. Each lasted three years, to the month. All others I've met in person, and there were at least 25, only those two had the chemisty connection between the two of us.
I'm not holding my breath finding another one online. My last love left a pretty big hole in my life and it will take someone really special to fill it.
13 and 7
Does anyone know why 13 is considered Unlucky? Why is 7 considered Lucky?
13 people at the Last Supper
If you look at the picture and count from left to center, or right to center, the seventh one is Jesus.
7 days in a week
7 colors in the rainbow
There are countless references to the number 7 in the Bible, I used to read it a lot. Got sidetracked after we moved here.
