Yet another Veteran's Day, as it's known in the US of A, or Remembrance Day as it's revered in Canada, has arrived.
Originally the day was designed to celebrate and remember the fallen soldiers of the first world war. Later it became inclusive of the fallen from all wars, and today venerates all who fought or were involved in conflict for their countries en toto.
However, please understand something very important.
Some of us, perhaps many of us, do not wish to remember.
Some of us spend our lives trying to forget.

An overly experienced soldier told me many years ago, over a coffee in the mess, to wipe that grin off my face. He said you can go to war, but you can't ever go home.
I thought that he was pretty negative, because surely most came home. I saw and knew many who had come home over the years.
When I came home, I found out what he really meant.
Home was different, or perhaps, I had changed.
I could not forget what I had seen or the things that I had done.
We all react differently.
Some of us live under bridges.
Some of us drink ourselves to death.
Some of us take drugs to stop the pain.
Some of us dig in and try to do anything that we can do to fix the problems and pay back the debt that we feel that we've incurred by our actions.

Can we please end this madness?

It,s so nice to help someone in need.
I know i,ve bin banging on about posative and negative but I,m trying to priech posative thinking to the negative people here.

I used to criticise everything in the past and felt really bad afterwards.Turned to alchohol in my negativity for many years it takes you nowhere.

I was out the other night and one of my talented musitions friends was doing a gig and he was struggling on stage he,s a solo act singer guitare

He beconded me by a hand movment to come up on the stage and whispered" dave sing a few songs I,m hung over and I feel bad .

So I sang 3 songs and "whisperd Kia say your having a short break which he did"

He got some food down him and plenty of water and came back and we did a couple of songs as a duet.

Later when heed finished he thanked me for helping him when he was in trouble "any I can do for you" he said.
I said" kia it was a pleasure helping you when YOU WERE IN NEED".

Well 3.50am here in my new adopted coutry portugal.oh what a buetiful place this is.Oh no!!! what have I said .you lot wiil invade the place and it will be like bloody calaforia.

Any way bin out tonight it deosn,t start till 9 or 10 and goes on till well 4 in most places.sorry i,m banging on a bit.

No getting to the title "undercarriage"

It,s bin noted (yes I do read some of the garbage)that I might be paired up with snoocomsy.

Well I quite feel this is an houner as she,s my cup of tea .Inteelegent,good looking,nice body but alas 51 and i,m 65 I could be here father.
So theoreticaly if we did link up she would be disapionted as I now have problems with dropping and retracting my"UNDERCARRIAGE"

The decision not to act is also a decision. To act too soon can be disastrous!

Everything seems fine, got the room rearranged, giving up smoking, got a handle on my weed smoking somewhat, got my medical stuff straightened out. Been relatively happy for a while.

Is this real though or is this just a prelude to something. My luck usually don't be that great and I can't help thinking that something bad is just around the corner. I guess I am expecting something and can't help but to think that this is just a elaborate setup.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

I am giving up smoking cigarettes. Patch really works.

Everyone looks like that he can own four wives, which one you should love?
A rich man had four wives, his favorite love was the fourth wife.He gave her luxuary clothes and the most delicious food.He cared for her carefully and gave her the best stuff.
He also loved his third wife very much.He was honored of her and show her with his friends.But the rich man also was always afraid of her, he worried she would be with other men together one day.
And he also loved his second wife.She was patient, tender and caring.Actually she was his confidant.No matter what problems when he met, he always asked for her help.And then his second wife also always helped him to pull through the difficulties.
His first wife was a very honest partner.She contributed herself for their family.Although the first wife loved him very much and so deeply, he didn't love her and almost forgot her.
One day, the rich man got illness.Not long time he knew he would be dead.He remembered his luxuary lives and said:"Now i have four wives,but if i am dead i am lonely.How lonely i will be!"
So he asked the fourth wife:"I love you the most and gave you the best, now i will be dead, will you follow me and……""No way"The fourth wife said and left far away from his home.
The rich man was hurt by her response.So he asked his third wife: "All this life i love you so much, but now i will be dead , would you like to be with me together?""No" the third wife answered and said:"lives is so good and many men love me, if you are dead i will marry again!"the rich man's heart was cold.
He asked his second wife again:"You always help me to over the difficulties and now i need your help.If i am dead, can you be with me together? "“Sorry dear, this time i can not!”She answered:“ I can send you to the cemetery at most !"The rich man shocked and dispaired.
At this time a sound come:"I will be together with you!No matter where you go , no matter where is heaven or hell, i will follow you all the time!"He looked up and his first wife stand there. She looks skinny, long-term malnutrition.The rich man was sorrow very much and said:"I should take good care of you, but……"
Actually, all of us have four wives in our life:
1.The fourth wife is our body.No matter how much we spent on it and how long we took for it to protect its good status, as beautiful face, we always be satisfied with its all needs.But when the time is over, it will leave us.
2.The third wife is our authority, power, reputation and wealth.No matter how much honors it gave us, when we are dead, all of it is belong to others.
3.The second wife is our friends and relatives. No matter how closed we are in our alived time, they can only accompany us to the cemetery at most.
4.Actually the first wife is our soul.When we chased wealth and enjoyment of body, it often be forgotten.
Never lose yourself.

Feel who is comfortable , to be with them.Including friends, family members too.Tired ,far away.
Make others be happy is not far as make self be happy.
Rather is lonely, never sorry to heart.
Rarher is pity, dont make do with.
If a person can come into your heart, regard him as your kingdom.If he can not, to disdain for.
Past is important or not but emotion is clear, is light.
Experienced happy and sad just like a mirror, is calm.
If understand , to cherish; if dont ,far away.
