Everything you ever done.

I recently heard that one day it will be available for everyone to see, review, read...or whatever...all your activity you have ever done on the internet.

I am not sure how true that is....but what is to stop whoever from doing so?

How would you feel if everything you have ever done online is shared?

I think I would be okay with it. After all, it was well known that everything that is done on the internet was/is not entirely private in the first place.

It would be a great way of identifying who many people really are.

Well...When that day comes I'll be long gone pushing the daisies.laugh
Heeeeerrrrree’ssss Joooohhhhnnnnnyyy!

What? Where did you read that at, “Mini Mart Snacks Today” magazine?

Well, that’s okay, I guess. Future generations will then know those delicious recipes like moving raisins bread, Dust Pan Pizza and so on.

But, imagine them also reading blogs written when people were half drunk, or about going bar hopping with Bert and The Driver. Yikes! (dramatic music) uh oh
Hello Daniela,

It appears, according to Legs, that all the information is available to the people who claim they need right to it. But, when it becomes available for all...hmm...you might be on to something. lol

That is true Legs...but the way it sounds, even the private things, the things we thought were private, ...the way it sounds by what I heard...will be available too.

dunno wave
laugh Robert...yes, those half or even fully drunk blogs could lead to some interesting conversations in the future. Especially the screen print pillows section. rolling on the floor laughing tongue
Oh no Biffy,

Everyone knows the recipe or repice now!

I hope they don’t read that I wear a back support harness when a lady wants more than 3 minutes of romantic action. Cause that’s private. blues
Coming Soon to movie theaters err some place, “Cold Light Of Day”

Starring Biffy, Johnny, The Driver, Molly and the hot action scene. wow
Wish I could respond right now folks to your comments...but I am on my way out of the door. But, I will be making comments soon. :) Thank you all.wave wave wave
Have a good day, Johnny. I don’t know if putting dried wooden shingles roofing on that house you’re fixing is a good idea, but heck, if you got them free or cheap enough, go for it! Cool!

I personally doubt it will ever happen, especially since there are more and more laws made in order to protect one's privacy. There's this new law called "the right to be forgotten". Sites like Connecting Singles should also implement that law and give the option to their members to choose not only to delete their profile, but also all online posts ever made. Facebook also has a new option - to completely delete your profile forever (not just deactivate it). People tend to protect their privacy more and more, so I suppose actually the opposite will happen. Old sites like forums will either have to allow their members more privacy and control over their accounts and comments or will have to get shut down. Things are still not that strict and most old sites haven't implemented these new rules yet, but I suppose they will have to - in time.
Legs, perhaps about it remaining private. I think that what one is not suppose to hear...it is not good for one to hear. So, in that regard, it would be good. But, you are right about public forums and what people post...when their emotions for example...are getting the better of them. As it is, a lot of employers review peoples' Facebook accounts before hiring.
Hello Bell..and welcome to the blogs. At least, this is the first time I have seen you here.

That would be good and fair.

We have been through a period...or even still remain in it...where privacy barely exists, if at all.

People should have those options you state.

Thank you for your post.

Android cellphone?
Unless you have it turned off, Google has all your contacts.
Moderators or administrators of any site have your IP address and can track you down. There are ways to hide your IP address, of course, but it's also not a guarantee.

People can fool around publicly, but that's just for public. The site owners know who you are and if you do something inappropriate that is against the law - they can turn you down to the police.

People aren't really anonymous on the internet. Nobody cares about most things people write and post online, but if you plan to rob a bank - be sure not to talk about it - not only publicly, but in your private messages, e-mails and everything else connected to the internet. laugh
Chat,

I can imagine. I have even heard they can use your camera and also listen at anytime too while powered on. dunno

I must admit that I personally threatened some people on another forum that I would make voodoo dolls for them if they continue to get on my nerves. laugh
laugh Bell...that is bad too. Not as bad as those body pillows...but getting there. laugh
True Molly....until they do for some reason or another I suppose
But then we could look at theirs and find stuff on them grin
I've said it once and I'll say it again. It would be a very full person who is entertained by the stuff people do as a past time. I think I would rather be shot than paid to screen drone footage and online activity. People are cultivating, very successfully, a lack of imagination.

Hey, it's hailing here!
Yes Molly. I must admit, I am a bit guilty of that myself. laugh Sometimes it helps to know a little better who you are dealing with.
Just a bit Molly. laugh
But...you know what....I bet if peoples' private information was made public...other people would have an interest in it. It is called curiosity.
so what's going on here?
*now
just for giggles?
Did they have a warrant to be looking into people's personal conversations, Crazy?

Or is one not needed there?
I would think the bum photos would be fine. confused
Oh no, Crazyheart,

Maybe that’s how the pic of me bathing in very cold water got around. doh

Err, just don’t reveal anything you told me in private, or anything you and Johnny discussed on the 4.99 a minute calls. grin
It is happening today. Hack or not.

Now let's see our president's net worth. banana
LaF,

I hear they are still working on those returns.

wave
Molly,

they don't need a warrant. It's their work policies, they know they're being investigated that includes their personal life to make sure nothing affects their work. They found out he's very close to a foreign national, through our phone calls and what's app. We can't trust anything online, contrary to what most of us believe, virtual world does existlaugh
Johnny,

bum photos...how would you explain them to your boss?laugh
Crazy, but it's not just his privacy they invaded, it is yours as well.
I wouldn't be happy with that.
Molly,

that's what I was worried about, we can't talk in what's app anymore because it's not private. in his job, he can not separate work from his private life. He had to make sure I'm not connected to any strange people or affiliated to any anti gov groups or personalities. I have no criminal records so I'm not worried, its just disappointing that we can't openly discuss things anyway and anytime we want...I'm no longer sure what kind of guy I got involved with laugh
I thought WhatsApp was encrypted .

Either way, you should be more careful about those you date uh oh
laugh
good point CH, the boss would not be happy no bums shots pleaselaugh
At my age Im not really worried what might come out. There are only 3 people in the world that I care what they think of me. Truth I dont think they would be surprised with anything that could come out about me.

I sometime would love to reread things Ive said online or done.
Hello Ish,

You seem like a lovely lady with nothing to hide. I can see why you would say that. thumbs up
No, what's app is not safe...
he's coming here, he said he will explain everything in person, I prefer not to find out, I'd feel more carefree without worrying for things I could live without.laugh

I seem to have a habit of getting involved with secretive guys...I just want an antique dealer, they tend to talk too much!laugh
