Human Nature

Man what an industry advertising has become. Good marketing can make you think their product is something you cannot live without. Men who love tools, well there is a tool that takes the place of 5 other tools, crafts for the creative sell things they can't live without, cleaning products that make life much easier so forth and so on. For me it is kitchen gadgets and I'm a big sucker. I bet one out of every 10 actually is something I love. 9 out of 10 were rubbish. Everyone can get appealed to by something. Escaping advertising is a bit more of a challenge. They find us everywhere, especially on line. I will guess that advertising has always been misleading, is that human nature?

I believe that journalists at one time wanted to report real news without bias. Maybe some journalists still want to but they are paid to mislead. Human nature?

Relationships at he beginning often start on misleading information although it may not always be intentional. Human nature?

War = human nature?

Human nature has a lot more evolving to do before pride can be taken in our species.

Am I in my own head or does anyone ever ponder human nature. Who is more predictable mother or human nature?

Human nature is part of mother nature. We are just one ongoing biological experiment on the apes branch.
Unfortunately, no other animal has done as much damage to mother nature as humans have.
We are responsible for a current mass extinction.
Unfayzed I think greed, ego, take over human nature with some folks. Life is full of pathways, some we walk in error that's all.teddybear

"Who is more predictable mother or human nature?"

The volume and state of Advertising indicates that human "nature" is quite predictable. Or predictable enough. Most Mass-Advertising appeals to Greed, probably more than to the other 6 Deadly Sins combined. But it is avoidable, if one wants to take control of oneself.

I don't ponder human nature because many humans aren't worth pondering. The ugliness displayed these days is quite unbelievable in a so-called 'civilized' country. Our consumerism society is actually consuming us, and at some point, it all has to collapse because it's just not sustainable.

For me, camera gear is the latest 'want' although art supplies would be a close second. That being said, though, I haven't spent any money on either of those hobbies for awhile now, as I'm just too busy out taking photos. And enjoying the company of four legged animals, vs the two-legged variety that leaves much to be desired.
I don't buy these new inventions.

I wait to see them being sell at dollar tree.

Then i know it was nothing but trash from the start.

People have to be dishonest to sell their products.

Unfortunately, they take that dishonesty into their personal life.
"I don't buy these new inventions. I wait to see them being sell at dollar tree".

Wait a few more months, and they will be at the yard sales.

"People have to be dishonest to sell their products."

Maybe a little bit disingenuous, but not necessarily dishonest. After all, Americans are born surrounded and overwhelmed by Advertising, so there is no excuse for ignorance.
I had to go read what I originally wrote. I opened the blog, read the replies and forgot my question.

Thanks everyone.
