somtimes I think about things. What kind of things you may wonder?? Well let me tell you. I enjoy thinking about things that i can think about. But while I think about things to think about i also think about all things i shouldn't think about but since i think about those things they are actually becoming things i think about when i wasn't supposed to think about those things. Now when those things that i think about while i wasn't supposed to think about those things are they then still things i never think about or are they just other things i think about???? And if i think about all those things doesn't that mean i think about all things that anyone ever could think about? Damn now i think i'm losing it. Don't ya think???

Not an easy question to answer i feel.

What would you rather be, Liked or Respected?

I believe you can Like someone without Respecting them, and Respect someone without Liking them.

Example, whilst i respect that each and all of us have a right to an opinion, that doesnt mean i like it or even respect you for having it, i just respect your right to have one.

Do i like Gordonski?, mmm let me ponder that thought for a sec, Not sure, but i do like his blogs, Now do i respect Gordonski?, Thats easier to answer, YES, i respect that he has an ability to write well and has a talent for doing so, I also respect that he calls a spade a spade and is not backward in coming forward. I also respect that in the few comments we have shared, we have been polite and courteous to each other.
Now i have used Gordonski as an example only.

Now a name may appear on both lists, that would only be due to the fact that i have got to know those ppl better, Then there are some on one list but not the other, that may be due to the fact i dont know them as well as some.

Now if your name does not appear on either list, that does not mean that i dislike or disrespect you, it just means that i do not think of or about you as much or at all. I may have even forgot to include your name.

To me there is a difference between like and respect, i can respect you but not like you and i can like you, but not respect you.

To me, i'd rather be respected. Of course if i could be liked and respected at the same time, that would be ok.

It is love we all seek, but to be loved, one must first be respected, not liked.

Just my opinion.

Well just had a phonecall from the hospital.. they have moved the date for the surgery.. Instead of december 27th they wanna do it on november 15th. So next thursday might be the big day.. Not sure how i will get all my paperwork in order, not to mention how i will manage the further supervision on works being done to my house. I still had so many things to organise so the works wouldn't slow down.. but i guess even if they get pushed back a few months it will be worth it. I'll just try and get as many things ready as i can. Now just hope my boss can solve this sudden change in plans to make sure someone is there to replace me.
I do have a good feeling about this.. Not allot of time to get nervous now.. I guess it will all be over before i know it.

I dont know how Familiar you people are with the story of Lobo the Wolf,
and his apparent role in the formation of Yellowstone National Park Sanctuary. It was one of my Favourite story's as a kid.

It formed for me the notion that We as humans have somehow removed ourselves Partly from the guiding hand of nature to become Trespassers on this planet neglecting our role as guardians of it.

Anyhow enough of my ramblings

My best friend is a woman; a friendship lasting more than 50 years. We played together as children, we went out together when we were young and we are still here for each other. We shared in our joys and in our sorrows. Our different genders had never played a part in our friendship. But we cannot count it. She is my cousin; a blood relative.

So, can a man and a woman truly have a pure platonic friendship? We are talking about a relationship where the gender of the other person is completely irrelevant; with no hidden agendas or motives.

We are not talking about colleagues being friends at work; they’re not friends. They are merely acquaintances sharing the same workspace.

We are talking about a friendship like between two men or two women, where they visit each other and share their problems; two people who care about each other and help each other.

We are not talking about older people where companionship became a premium.

We are talking about younger people in the prime of their life; when all the necessary hormones are still in place and where there still is plenty of chemistry at work. People spending time together and going out together.

My impression is that at least one of them is in love with the other one, but contented to keep things as they are. At least one of them is being too scared to make the first move at the risk of losing the other one completely.

Half an egg is better than an empty shell!
