But honestly Compare Chicago's Crime rate (Which has among the heaviest restriction on firearms ownership),with the crime rates of Vermont (Which has the most Lax firearms ownership laws in the U.S.).

I am pro Gun control To Me gun control is hitting what you shoot at. The problem I have with gun control Is that the people that want you to not be armed are armed themself. I have a friend that is alive today because he was able to defend himself. He had a crazed Mental case that got a fixation on his daughter. Came to the house with a Knife Broke down the door and was going to take his daughter and kill him and his wife and son. He fired a warning shot the man did not stop , then he put a round into the man Killing Him but he is alive and the man that was going to kill him is no longer a threat . Most of the police officers are in favor of Legal Citizens carring firearms .

It aint gona work for ya unless there are definitive restrictions like we have here in AU. U can still own guns here but its very restrictive as to what type/power etc.

I really dont know whats more despondant with the US.

The treatment of the cure that is crime, or the giving up and paranoia that dogs those who hold guns.

Personally says alot about the governments previous + current that its citizens dont feel safe.

I would love to take a poll of all the criminals out there I bett one hundred percent are in favor of gun control . They don't want to break into a house that has an armed person inside . When they bann guns only the criminals will have them . All Firearms crimes are committed by illeagle firearms not leagle guns .

The problem is there are so many illeagle fire arms out there, I am all for controling illeagle firearms. If you took all the Illeagle firearms off the streats I wouldn't have a problem with turning in my gun for home protection .

Huuum very interesting you quote the Bible as to not Kill yet God slayed animals to make cloths for Adam and Eve. In another place God let down a sheet with all maner of animal and told peter to slay and ear. All thru the Bible is references to eating Flesh that God provided . Now If a man had a Gun and another man was going to kill someone and saw the man with the Gun and ran away would that be devine intervention . In this world you haft to be stronger than evil and there are many evil people out there with guns hopeing you will turn yours in so they can do what they want to you without fear . God does have his finger on the bad guys but unfortunatly there is a thing called free will that God can not override so he gives us the wisdom to protect ourself . Like the man that sit on his roof as the flood came and they ordered an evacuation of his area he said no I am trusting in God as he went into the attic a boat came by and ask him to leave but he refused and said he was trusting in God then a third time as he is on the Roof A boat comes by and beggs him to get in he said no I am trusting in God . As he walked up to the perly Gates He ask God he said God why did you forsake Me God said I didn't I sent you warnings and you overrode them . In this world God expects you to Take care of yourself
