My Husband did have guns..
and he knew how i felt about them..so he gave them to his mother

Guns do not kill unless used for that purpose. Therefore it is the gunman who kills, not the gun.

My husband agreed even though he had firearms in his house in US..

Didnt a little boy die recently because his Dad left him in his truck and his little son played with the Dads gun that he found in the truck and the little boy shot himself........I think it was in the states.I dont care who has guns...

Nice things about people who don't like guns is that they are on the losing side of the law. They have to get it changed, not us. We get to own guns.
So discuss your dislike for them all you want. So far you haven't been able to accomplish anything except hot air. Even with only 5% of the people in Canada owning guns, the other 95% hasn't taken away those people ability to own and use them.

You have every right to your opinion. It is okay to not like guns. People shouldn't attack you verbally for not liking guns; I have a lot of friends who don't like guns.
I also understand your point of view. Nothing wrong with that and I hope and pray no one has to experience a death in the family that is firearm related.
I only take issue when people who don't like guns try to impose their beliefs on others. I am all about freedom. Freedom to have your opinion and freedom for me to have mine. I think I get where you are coming from and I appreciate when you stated that you don't care who owns guns, you are just against them (that is paraphrasing and I probably got it wrong).

Nope, people do, a gun is an inanimate object and can't do a damn thing without being in someone's hands. Quit trying to spread misinformation.
Personally, I'm glad you don't own any firearms.
