Haha, no, I was speaking about my professional skills...
And where did I say we are the only country with a rich history?
But it is a fact that we have rich history and not just this but we gave to the world very important inventions too...
Have you heard of John Atanasov to start with, without this son of Bulgarian migrants today you wouldn't be able to be so spiteful internationally...
tip hat

The director of the agency for the control of the external borders of the European Union (EU) has predicted that as many as 300,000 new migrants will be heading up from sub-Saharan Africa into Europe, most of whom will attempt to reach Italy as first port of call.

Thanks Reb,
my country suffered a lot the last 26 years, but we still have the spirit and hospitality...
More and more young and not so young professionals are coming back from abroad and there is a hope and light in the tunnel...
Some choose to return just so they can raise their children in a relaxed and calm atmosphere.
What are we if we don't love our mother land, no matter where we are? Homeless souls...

You have every right to be proud, it has not been easy and I have seen Bulgaria slowly but surely climb the ladder and if you can get those youngsters back the future for your country bright.wine

You can twist it as much as you like, he is Bulgarian first of all, and if America has registered so many important inventions is because all the brains are coming from Europe...
It's not something in your air that makes it happen...

John Vincent Atanasoff is known as the father of the computer. With the help of one of his students Clifford E. Berry, in Iowa State College, during the 1940s, he created the ABC (Atanasoff-Berry Computer) that was the first electronic digital computer.

John Vincent Atanasoff was born in Hamilton, New York on 4 of October 1903

i was taking it from this link.

Why people never use Wikipedia, yes, darling I read the info in Wiki and we both agree hi is the Father, the matter with Berry was sorted in the court...Many children are born in different from their parents land but it is the genes that matter, not the hospital...

And here, if you can be bothered, some more interesting things:

I bet you will be surprised...

Good Morning Darling K wave
I found that link failed when I tried it here, but found this link which was also interesting to me in particular having written a thesis on Aviation engineering history.

I had heard of Jordanov and Petrov who both have some significance, especially Jordanov being arguably the forerunner of the Black Box and later, Reverse Thrusters on Jet Engines.

quite right, it is something in our culture of individualism and personal freedom.....but anyway, social democracy? no thank youdunno

computer is American (Bell Labratories) & German BTW even the Brits were in on it before Atanansoff (IDK if I spelled that right), and Hewlett Packard was founded before their computer was built by a few years. It is an interesting question. I guess it depends on whose source you read.

Depend how long you live abroad ...and if you spend more years outside birth country ...but I find,it's never the same when you go back ...and I wouldn't call it 'homeless soul' but it can feel as orphanhood from blood relations...
