lifeisadream: Scotland voted to stay in EU and Trump’s ascendants are Scotish. (It is not your fault Scottish People) Should Wales, Ireland-North and Scotland exit UK?
WINS-xit! "God Save the Queen" or not.
I could recommend you a wall-builder.
As a matter of fact, there is a wall between Scotland and England, Hadrian's wall. It was built by the Roman Emperor Hadrian, to keep the "barbarians" away from the Romans...
Bogart_1960: definitely yes. you should concentrate in watching movies and eating donuts, as world economics (don’t google it, it’s not a movie) or world politics (also not a movie) are way above your understanding.
I would suggest adding to your movie diet some English biscuits – the original ones - they don’t give laughing gas.

Your quite right! The Scots kept nipping across the border and giving the Romans a quick whack around the head! The Romans gave up trying to invade. I think it was because we kept lifting our kilts!

Britain needs foreign skilled labour, what Britain doesn't need is , hundreds & thousands of unskilled, uneducated immigrants cramping our welfare system & putting a strain on our housing & education.. Britain has the 5th biggest economy worldwide & the likelihood of us crumbling without the aid of the EU is minimal.. Many European countries rely on Britain for their exports & leaving the union can only benefit our economy with the prospect of higher growth in in our agricultural industry, without Brussels limiting our capabilities.

No longer the 5th largest, after a cool £125 billion loss on the markets.
To quote: "The amount of money that was wiped out on Britain’s FTSE 100 alone hit £125 billion ($171 billion) at its lowest ebb soon after trading started, Quartz calculated. That figure is equivalent to more than 15 years of the UK’s EU contributions, judging from what the UK paid into the EU budget in 2015."

Oh God, now I can imagine, you Scots lifting your kilts up and the Romans their skirts... I bet that was worth seeing...

The FT has recovered significantly since those figures were released.. The uncertainty of Britain leaving was the reason for the massive drop, but the long term implications are of a greater, more self sufficient Britain, who can trade worldwide, without having to bailout many struggling EU countries.

It will recover somewhat. Back to where it was? Nope.

Britain will be fine... Losing something when gaining control is normal, and even the worlds stock exchange experts are saying the situation has been overreacted... The richest people in the world lost few quids, but who cares... The scare mongering started already and that's ridiculous... I just read that Germany and Finland are rising for Referendum, Slovakia too... Something has to change in EU and fast...
I read somewhere that the Czech Rep are looking for a referendum as well, strange one that.
The Eastern European countries have done well out of the EU being able to move to countries like mine where they earn more in a week than they would in a month back home.

I am not surprised, our agriculture and farming has been completely smashed into pieces, hundreds of factories shut and sold piece by piece in the down of the "democracy"... We were pretty fine before... Someone paid good money to destroy us and make us gasarbeiters...
